I always have a great expierence here. My barber is great and I never have any issues, she likes to joke around and is super friendly.They will cut your hair however you like from old school cuts to newer looks. They cut for all ages.I recommend them to anyone even got my dad and brother to go to them before with no complaints from either.Im glad there are still people out there that are keeping the old school barber shop alive. Its a dieing art and they keep it going in an awesome way.You want be disappointed.

Even though it is a Barber Shop, they cut both men and womens hair. I always get an excellent hair cut. Everyone is always friendly. They only do walk-ins, but I never have to wait long!

Today was my first visit here. I was looking for an experienced barber who could cut and style my hair well and I have definitely found one. Will be returning monthly for a trim. Very reasonable pricing for a great quality haircut. Everyone I have met had been incredibly nice and professional.

My son and daughter and I were visiting Athens Al. for the day and googled Shiremans Barber Shop. My son needed a much needed haircut. One of the ladys did a fantastic job! Then I found out they were sisters. They were so cordial, nice and professional. A gentleman was in there getting his haircut too. They were all so welcoming, warm and inviting to total strangers. Athens is so lucky to have such local citizens representing their city. Thank for making us feel like family! JB

I have been coming here for over 43 years to get my haircut. Great company to be in and located in a old school shop in downtown Athens, Alabama.

They take great care of us and everyone that works there are just not great at cutting hair but great people too!

Shiremans Barber Shop was started by my Daddy. Then a few years later, my Momma became a barber and together they provided folks with a family atmosphere Barber Shop! My sister, Tammy Shireman Lamar now owns and operates this shop and she offers the same family atmosphere as our parents did! Shiremans Barber Shop is definitely a 5-Star Barber Shop!!!
