The front desk was extremely helpful and took time to explain everything and answer my questions on both visits. Raquel did a great job processing the paperwork and making sure everything was correct.

I called today to inquire about a storage unit and Amber stopped what she was doing on the property to go to the office & help me. She was very informative & eager to help me. I decided to rent a unit from here as well as use a U-haul to move my things to my new home. With the stress of moving, it’s nice to know that the U-Haul and storage unit will be hassle free come moving day!

Do NOT reserve a u-haul through this company. We arrived as scheduled to pick up a reserved (days in advance) u-haul from this “authorized dealer”, only to be told that the previous renter did not return it and that there’s essentially nothing they can do. Oh, and for us to “just wait and hope they show up”. They offered no resolution beyond having us wait in the lobby for an hour while they “tried” to find us another truck. We have paid and scheduled movers for today. And now we will have to go into our pockets to sort that situation out as well. This place is lousy and clearly doesn’t take reservations seriously at all. Don’t depend on them for your moving day.

I dont think Ive ever encountered a more understanding and accommodating staff. Midgard made my moving experience a great deal less stressful. They went above and beyond in quality customer care, to say the least.

I went in today to rent a trailer to haul machining equipment!!Amber was VERY helpful and VERY nice!!If everyone that works in a customer driven job like she does were even half as nice and helpful as she is, the world would definitely be a lot better place!!!I would recommend anyone to go into her location for storage or u haul!!Thank you Amber for brightening my whole week!!!

Amber was fantastic, I got caught and traffic multiple times on the way to rent a trailer. She performed above and beyond any expectations I could have. The trailer I rented was a 7x12 pulled great easy to use. Will definitely use there services again in the future.

Im not sure what it was I just experienced.....maybe it was actually great customer service for the first time, after all I have had so little of it. There is a pattern of bad treatment when it comes to service and goods provided in America, John is someone who not only is the opposite of that but went above and beyond to make my storage experience not only easy but very informative. Midgard and its leadership should be proud of Amber and John here in Athens, they are the embodiment of professionalism.

Amber at the Midgard Self Storage uhaul location in Athens, AL was AMAZING! Great customer service. She really went above and beyond to help us. We were directed to a wrong pick up location by the UHaul website. She got everything transferred over for us and got us into a better truck. She was polite, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Id definitely suggest their store.

Excellent experience. Moved from out of state and they provided excellent customer service, both over the phone and in person. They provided clear directions and were very up front about pricing. He even worked with me to drop my UHaul off at their location instead of driving to a different point.The climate storage itself was very clean. I did not have to do any cleaning prior to moving my things into the space. The space itself (10x15) was very spacious. It was also higher than I thought. If you had a long sectional, you could stand it on end and have plenty of room.

John at midgard athens al was so helpful and nice! I called this morning for information and he got me set up with a unit early this afternoon. No hassel and made everything very simple! Would recommend everyone to use John with Midgard!

Amber and John are awesome! Definitely two of the most helpful and pleasant people I’ve encountered. They made the stress of moving a little bit easier. They promptly followed up my phone calls and happily answered all questions. Once I arrived, they took their time explaining all that the details and paperwork. I purchased a lock from the facility (which was not over priced). John opened it for me and made sure that it worked before I left. Not only is the staff top notch but the facility is also unkept and maintained well. No trash or garbage littering the property. Highly recommend Midguard Storage!!

My experience had been guard so far has been exceptional. I was helped by a gentleman named John who was very well knowledge and very friendly. I will continue to be storing with midgard.

What a wonderful experience we cant say enough about Jessica that manages the facility. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and that was before we met her. Talk about exceeding our expectations. It can be exhausting and stressful to pack and drive a 26 ft. truck 700 miles so to have a person like her at the end of the trip was awesome.

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! The facility is nice, well lit and clean but I can’t say enough about the staff! Jessica was a real blessing to me when my stress level was through the roof! Jessica listened to my situation and literally did ALL she could to help! Zach was friendly and knowledgeable as well and between the two of them we were able to get the size truck we needed when we needed and I found the perfect unit to suit my needs. I would highly recommend Midgard Storage for any storage or Uhaul needs! 5 STARS!!!

Great clean place with awesome staff. Jessica was very knowledgeable of the products, helpful and very nice. We will return for our future needs.

We stopped in today after driving around and calling all morning trying to find a uhaul to help our son move. Jessica was so gracious with us. She gave us waters and personally called around to find us something to fit our needs. it was just the stress relief we needed during this move. We will be back to store our things with her soon Thank you Jessica!

Edited from my last review: we have had major issues. Employees are rude and dont want to hear what you have to say over the phone, they will cut you off mid sentence, argue with you and tell you that you are wrong and they are right. They also claimed to have cut our lock, they didnt. They claimed that we didnt call since march when I have phone records to prove otherwise. Have had issues vacating. Something they DONT TELL you is that you have to sign a vacate form for THIRTY DAYS before vacating or they will charge you for the next month. Overall, we would not recommend using this storage facility. Would give zero stars if that were possible.

The one star is for Zach who was extremely nice and tried to be helpful but couldn’t talk because of his “manager”. Jessica B was very unprofessional and lacks any skills or common knowledge regarding customer service... This was not a last minute reservation. Thanks to U-Haul Traffic and Zach a new truck was located.

Jessica is amazing and is always ready and willing to help me. I work with her a few times a month and she is always pleasant and makes sure I have everything I need.

Rented a storage unit from these guys in the process of moving and loved it. Great security. Friendly staff completely goes above and beyond what youd expect from a storage facility.
