Barry was outstanding! My car was towed after having a flat tire. He was fair with his pricing and really made me feel better during a hard situation. The smallest acts of kindness can make a world of difference for someone. I hope he knows that he is truly a rare light in this seemingly dark time. We need more people like him. He treats his customers like people not just another dollar sign. I will always recommend his company and will use them for any future services I might need.

Had a shed on wheels that got hit by a tree and bent the frame to the point that it could not be towed via a bumper hitch. Tried calling another wrecker service and they wouldnt even try. BTates asked for photos and measurements, came over with a rollback, and was able to get the trailer onto the truck, move it across the county, and drop it where it needed to be at a good price. Highly recommended!

They only care about money definitely nothing about helping anyone who was offering everything they had in their pocket. He needs to retire instead of just trying to make more money off of people instead please try being like you use to be when you was kind and cared about folks

Giving one star because cant give none!! Kept getting the run around about getting my vehicle out because of it being the weekend but says theyre 24hrs. Had the money and ready to pay what was asked but when told to be there the next morning upon arrival noone was there and was told when someone could get to the office to open the gate we would be notified. Never was notified after sitting around waiting all day making it two days wasted trying to get my vehicle back from a 24hr company that couldnt do as they said, better yet their job. Would never use them or refer them to anyone EVER AGAIN!!!

Getting into an accident can certainly be very stressful. Luckily nobody was hurt in ours but being as it was we were out on the side of the highway at 2am. Tates was recommended to us by the local police and within 15 minutes of calling them they had already arrived. Lee was our driver and was very friendly and extremely helpful, Lee was kind enough to take us to a hotel that was pet friendly and also returned a bag that I had left in the truck with valuables in it. They were also very helpful in recommending a shop for our repairs. When in need I would highly suggest BTates Wrecking Services!

I can’t speak on the drivers of the tow trucks but, the lady in the office is rude and lacking compassion. My Son was hit by a dog last night on his motorcycle They towed it little over 12 hours ago and are charging me $300. Lady in office has no compassion and I told her these are tough times for people and kindness and compassion would go a long way in helping people deal with life’s problems. She hung up on me as I was asking what the regular price is for this service! She did say HAVE A NICE DAY!! I will never use this company voluntarily even though they are supposedly giving me a big discount on the price

I had a car break down on me in Athens, AL. I returned about an hour later to see a sheriff and tates wrecker service driving away with my car in tow. I was disappointed but ultimately I was at fault. Followed the tow truck to tates yard, and was only charged $60 instead of the normal$150. Very polite guy I spoke with on the phone as well as the tow truck driver. Would recommend if you need a tow.

Reasonable prices, good service. When my mother in law accidentally backed her truck into the ditch Buddy Tate had it out in less than 5 minutes. He was also very sweet to her and told her these sort of things happen all the time, and she shouldnt feel bad about it. :-)

Very good. The truck driver was nice and the wait for him to arrive was short. The price of the tow was more than reasonable for the distance. I will call again if I need another tow.

The driver was quick to the scene on a cold night, without one complaint. He was so helpful. Backed the vehicle into the driveway so my husband could work on it later.

Our car died on us on the way to Madison and Tate’s came and got us and the car within 15 minutes. Our driver was so kind, and made a stressful situation into a good one. I wish I could remember his name, but it has slipped my mind. He even took us by an ATM so we could pay in cash. I highly recommend you call Tate’s. They’ll take care of you.

Reasonable people. Obviously care how customers are treated. Proved that by firing an individual who has an authority issue. He believes everyone is less than he, and treats people accordingly. Perhaps thats why he is on his 5th or 6th job within a year. Yes Jeffery karma is real. Traumatizing a 96 yr old Grandmother to an early grave does cause the universe to react accordingly. Everyone should give Tates Wrecker Services a try when in need of such services! 👍👍

Friendly people the owner and his helper helped us unload a full 18 wheeler using there roll back. They also helped us move the materials by hand. They saved us allot of time and made it easier on my father.

D your company driver coming off 65 did not stop at stop sign I had to come to complete stop to avoid a wreck because he failed to stop!!! Trying to cause a wreck is not good business for a towing company!!!
