Someone abandoned a vehicle in the parking lot of my business and Auto Safe informed me of the cities rules about 48 hours before they could remove it. I called them after the 48 hours and Chris showed up to tow it within 30 minutes!! Chris was very professional and a very nice guy!! I highly recommend Auto Safe and Chris for any towing need, they were very pleasant to deal with!! Thanks again Chris!!

Waite 3 hours and they never showed up. Called a couple times and they assured me they would be there. When I tried to call back a couple more time I got voicemail. Left me stuck for 3 hours with my 5 year old granddaughter. Called another service and they were there in 20 minutes.

No hours available online, when I called the guy was curt and told me they open at 8am. It’s 8:15am now and when I called again, no answer.

Apparently this is a predatory towing company who has scouts that look for unsuspecting tourists. Lesson learned. They legally steal cars for a living. Contact the businesses who allow them to put their poorly placed signs up for change.

Most towing places have basic reviews because people are angry about there cars being towed.... I am leaving a terrible review because this place doesnt tow cars. They provide a service to my apartment complex so I called them due to me having no place to park in my section due to illegally parked vehicles... they never showed up. Same thing the night after, so I call and they once again never show up! Night number 3 same thing, so I call back and ask if they still tow for my apartment complex with a slightly sarcastic tone and the dispatcher hung up on me when I called back she rudely said I will not be yelled at mind you i never yelled just asked a sarcastic question which I proceeded to ask again in which she said yes we do still tow for them but I dont know when my driver will get there. I have given up. Its been weeks and They clearly dont wanna do anything or make any money. Its crazy I have had to park in visitor parking at my own apartment because of they dont wanna do there job.

We had signed up with another company in town to manage a parking space for our business. Every time someone was parked in our spot, the other company was too busy to come. Last week I called Auto Safe Towing, and within half an hour the truck arrived. I thought the service was very prompt, helpful and professional. I recognize the person whos car was towed may have a different experience, but as the owner of the parking space, I am thrilled to turn to Auto Safe Towing in the future.

This place is HORRIBLE it truly has such a low rating due to the unprofessional staff and their rude behavior everytime I actually got a chance to speak with someone,They held me and my boyfriends car for months on end after SOMEONE discussed a payment plan for him until we could get our car out just to be told MONTHS later they dont do payment plans and they own our car because it was on their property? No phone call back after being told numerous times they would call back and the best part is after the OWNER finally answered he gave me a round about saying he didnt know where the car was after other employees claimed to have seen it on the lot recently just for the man to tell me later in the same conversation he sold the car! He refused to give me information without the vin number but let someone else go through our stuff and sell our car without the title,nothing, With no call back no confirmation nothing! After we have been endlessly trying to get our car out and the best part is he said around winter someone just walked on the lot and he allowed them to clean out our car of our personal belongings without displaying a proper id they just let them wipe our car clean,again after we have tried to get in contact for MONTHS and they always had some bs excuse,We are going to ask to see surveillance on who stole our belongings and if we cannot get to the bottom of this and get some justice and reimbursement on our vehicle we will unfortunately have to take legal action because this is not how a business should be conducted and we feel not only our car was stolen and sold but all of our belongings as well.what I suggest for this business is to comply to our wishes before it has to get nasty

Have been parking in the spot I parked in for over a year. I guess they were bored tonight. Also, they had their very young child at the pickup spot super late at night. Not sure if they use this child so people dont freak out on them for being crooked. $225 fee is insane, and Im sure theyll defend themselves, but its really sad to see a predatory place like this. The lady at the office was shaking giving my change back. My advice is to not involve your child in this cut throat business

If you are here to leave bad reviews it will probably go unnoticed and nothing will change ( however please do tell your story chances are you paid $225 for it) I recommend getting in touch with the property owners of the lot where your car was towed and leaving a bad review of the business for using such a sorry excuse of a towing company. Just like they did to you. Hit them where it hurts; their wallets. Keep business in Asheville from using them. At the end of the day they provide a service for those business, there for are an extension of those business. With those high prices, they are probably splitting the cash with the lot owners.

Towed my car and called the number listed and a man half asleep answered and told me their address to pick it up. I showed up to pick it up and they werent open and my car was not at the lot. I called the number listed and it was the same guy still asleep saying they opened at noon. I asked where my car was that I was pressing the panic button multiple times and it wasnt there after told me they take cars to the lot directly after they tow. He asked what car I had, I told him and he said yes we towed it and its there and I asked around what time and he said he couldnt tell me. He hung up on me three times after I told him just to tell me where my car was. I left and called and said I was going to be waiting for them to get there to make sure they hadnt had my car at their house or some random place and they said they were already open at 10:30. Therefore, obviously the guy lied about the time they opened so that he could hurry and get it there. I went to pick up my car and told them I understood this is their job and how they make a living but I dont appreciate being lied to and hung up on when Im paying them $200 to have my car for 2 hours. I also pressed the panic button, which worked now because my car was obviously there now and wasnt earlier. The lady ( the towers wife who does the paperwork) said she was with him and he told me my car was here and she didnt understand why my panic alarm wasnt working earlier. I told her she and her husband were liars and ended it at that.

I’ve seen these people in my apartment complex towing cars with a young child barefoot and in diapers walking around the parking lot in the middle of the night. Usually past 2am. I’ve heard horror stories from other residents dealing with them.Tonight I was carrying some things inside and when I came back out to put my car in my garage they were towing it. I told them I live here so they tried to hustle me on the spot to pay them to put my car down. The lady with the driver seemed very uncomfortable and afraid. When I spoke to her in a normal tone she wouldn’t make eye contact or acknowledge me. She seemed afraid of the guy she was with and it made me uneasy.Another resident came up to stick up for me and tell them I live there. The tow driver knocked him out cold and then continued to punch and kick him in the head as the lady with him begged him to stop.He then drove off and essentially stole my car because they knew the cops were being called.I found out after that the reason the guy was sticking up for me was because his girlfriends car had gotten towed that morning and she’s also a resident.They don’t care about doing their job, safety of others, or their own children. Only making money any crooked way they can.I would warn any business of hiring these people to represent you.

I dont know why everyone is so upset, they got the job done for me! Had a wrangler stuck in my garage in a really difficult position to remove, and we got it out and to the shop. Took some time and effort, but worth the hundred bucks it cost. The guy was super nice, 5 stars

I got towed for some annoying reasons, but the people here were really quick to help and get me on my way. It took maybe 10 minutes, the whole ordeal. Super nice, and very respectful. They’ve got a difficult job, that most people don’t appreciate, but nonetheless, they make the situation a lot better by being so polite about it and getting the job done quickly.

I wouldnt give any stars to this company. I was towed from my own apartment complex. Once this was proved, nothing was done about it and the woman who works the front desk was extremely rude. The older man was a bit condescending and treated me like I was stupid. I was also told that I would have to pay for the time and labor it took to check their security cameras to prove that I was right. Money hungry is all I can say. These individuals are the perfect people for this kind of work. They have no sense of sympathy. Keep your eye out for the big middle finger sticker right above my parking permit from now on. Maybe you wont miss it next time.

I had a hard situation: My 31ft airstream was parked in a very hard to maneuver space. I need very specific help. Everyone was very kind, flexible and helpful. It worked out great!!!I would defiantly recommend them.

They took a littler bit longer to get to me, but they were very polite and pulled my car out of the mud in the pouring rain. Not gonna lie, they werent the first I called just because of review ratings, but all the other 5 star listed tow companies told me we dont have a truck available right now. These guys came out in bad weather and pulled my Audi out of a bad spot next to a large dropping bank. So thankful to them, and I think they deserve more credit.

Ignore all of the negative reviews from people who had their vehicles towed from places they shouldnt have been in the first place anyway, or repossessed...none of that has anything to do with the efficient and professional attitude of this towing company. They get the job done. Their equipment is well maintained, and they know how to pick up a car without damaging it. Nuff said.

I was in a really terrible mood when I went to get my things from my car after my flipped it, it was impounded because the police said I didn’t have insurance (I did) I got frustrated but they kept calm and were very helpful, I greatly appreciate the kindness

WNC Towing and Billy did a awesome job. They helped us out in a tough situation in our travels back to Wisconsin from Charlotte. We had a after hours tow on a Saturday night. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. I hope to never have to use their service again but if I do Ill know who to call first. Im keeping their card in the visor.

All 1 star ratings! Go figure, towing companies are usually terrible. On the contrary, this one is different, the owner here is a super sweet guy just doing his job. I had an interview at a location downtown and didnt realize I couldnt park in the employee parking lot. Towed! The tow lot was closed by the time I got out but a simple phone call and the owner met me at the lot and released my ride for $100 less than the normal price. He went above and beyond to help me out. He had to bring his young child, in pjs, to meet me. Thank you for everything! Keep on towing my friend.Illegal parkers beware, this man is good at what he does!

This company is not a reputable towing company. They tow tenants and tenants guest without proper signage for removing on a private lot per GS 20-219.2. they have an agreement with Verge Apartment and other businesses to tow as soon as you walk away from your car at a cost of $225.00. These people are crooks. Towed my LEGALLY parked car because a resident asked them to. This company KNOWS it doesnt work this way and is supposed to wait until they hear from management not some old person who has nothing better to do with their time.They know they shouldnt have towed it based on the fact that they refunded part of the towing cost, but forced the lot owner to pay the rest. Other people have told me they have seen these predatory tow truck operators running around just waiting to get people and then charge almost $200 ransom, sorry, towing fee.These people are dishonest, deceitful crooks. The rudest BRADY driver 114.My fathers truck was stolen and I paid over 900.00 storage which I completely understand because its a business and they have to pay the bills just like anyone else. However if you ever have to deal with BRADY he has no people skills and is completely rude...... He hung up twice on me and I absolutely didnt deserve to be talked to so ugly by this guy. These are robbers I parked my car in a downtown parking lot where the sign read Private parking Monday-Friday 7am-5pm towing fee of $195 and $20 per day that it sits. Well since it was Saturday I figured it wouldnt be problem to park along with other people who he parked there as well. Come back later but early Sunday morning and my car was gone. They had towed me.i call they said the sign was old and that the building was abandoned so they towed me and so I go get my car trying to dispute it they said I had to wait til Monday. I would understand if my car was the only one but it was it was like 6 other cars towed by the same company in the same parking lot

I was made to feel very uncomfortable by the guy that was there to release my car and left me waiting for almost an hour and a half outside to even gave him let me in the door. Very creepy environment, and as a female that was there alone it was inappropriate how I was hit on and given a discount for looking how good I be I also didnt realize that it was vital to know my relationship status for picking up a towed car. Apparently it is. Gave an expired liscense with old address because I was made so uncomfortable.Ladies beware.

I had a car towed, went to pay. When I gave them my credentials, the operator did not return my ID and my debit card after payment. I was called and told that they forgot to return them. I then was told I could pick my ID up after begging for it to be mailed to the address on the ID. I drove 130 miles to the office to be told they lost my ID or it was STOLEN. The owner Terry Petty asked me to come outside with no provocation. He got inches from my face and asked me to punch him in the face 5 times. I told him he could act a fool in front of the police. And also he had his cronies in short distance. What a tough guy. Also not the first time someone has been threatened by this backwater shady operation.

There was no other way to pay then a smartphone app. That should be illegal. Not 10 minutes later my car was towed. The attendant at the lot had one of her children (maybe 12 yo it was 1230am) escort me to my car in the lot. When I asked how to dispute the 225 dollar charge I was told I couldnt. I am going to find out who regulates these companies.

They said we couldnt prove we paid even though the app showed we paid and the meter was running on the app. So we ended up paying $100 to get our vehicle back even though we paid. By far the worst experience with a company ever. After being in a wreck yesterday on 40, the state trooper had already made a call to get my car towed out of the interstate. This place came and moved my car to the other side of the road. When I approached the driver he said $200? I said can I give you my information or bank info since I dont carry $200 worth of cash on me. He immediately said no and drove off without any information about my car or the lot what so ever. Not to mention my car wasnt even strapped on and half of it was falling off the truck. They charged almost $300 for less than 24 hours of holding my car until I could figure out who they were. The biggest bunch of idiots I have ever seen. Absolutely a scam.

Towing law says they have to provide a picture and sign of towing regulations...the lady wouldn’t supply it. When asked who owned the lot she didn’t know and when I asked her who her boss was she wouldn’t look me in the face and said Terry Petty. I downloaded the app and my credit card but bc it didn’t send me a receipt they towed my car within a few hours. DO NOT USE THE LOT BEHIND CATAWBA ON SOUTHSLOPE through the ParkMobile app. Always use passport lots in downtown. I’ve lived here more than a decade and never had to deal with such unfair business practices when it comes to parking. These people are obviously after every dime they can get. See you in court.

I would give 0 stars if that were an option. My car was towed from a lot that I’ve parked in for years at the tourist’s game. There is a sign on the side of the building but I parked on the opposite wall with no sign. The way the sign is displayed makes it seem as if there is no parking on that side since it is indicated as a dumpster area. There is no dumpster in the whole lot. They barely had my car an hour and it was $225. It would have been less time but I called the police department and waited for an officer. I also had to hire a lyft driver and it was a 15 min drive. I will be filing a claim, and even if I don’t get a dime back, they need to put clear sineage up so that people don’t get towed when they don’t know it’s a tow zone. I could have parked one lot over if I had known it was a tow zone. That is predatory towing and it is illegal. The staff was rude and dirty and had their children there putting boots on cars. They are criminals and I hope they get all the karma they deserve.

Unfortunately my car broke down up on the blue ridge parkway. Fortunately I saw Terry/auto safe towing on Craigslist and decided to give them a call.Ive had a few tows over the years and this was by far the best. It was super quick, less then an hour from the time I called them to the time they dropped me off at home. Amazing!Their truck was really clean and the owner Terry came out himself and was very kind and friendly. Total cost was 85 to pick me up from the BRP and get me home safely. More than worth the price!

Got towed while working an event at the US Cellular Center by Auto Safe! Although it was inconvenience thanks to the Vanderbilt Place in downtown Asheville for calling it in for no reason, Auto Safe Towing was quick and easy with the release process.

A friends car was towed from a space that had been paid for, but the time was slightly over. This in itself is a waste of everyones time and resources - wouldnt a ticket be more suitable for such a minor fault?From the time of her calling this company to find out if theu had her car and being hung up on, to arriving and having the massive entry gate closed on her physical body, to being locked out of their office to pay the $225 to get her car back, to being treated and spoken to in the most demeaning and degrading manner I have ever seen from a professional business, this was an unbelievably disgusting experience all around. I wouldnt believe it had I not actually experienced it. I feel sorry for ANYONE having to deal with this company and that the city chooses to use them is s disgrace.

I took my Wife out to our company diner at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. I parked in a business parking lot that had signage that stated public parking after business hours (after 6PM) and all day on weekends. We came out to find our vehicle towed at 8:15PM. Upon reading the sign further down in smaller writing we saw that there was an expense for public parking and you had to sign into a APP and pay $1.50 per hour. All the information about fees were after the public parking announcement and who is going to read that crap? I strained my eyes to find the tow company info who was in bed with this shady business (they probably split the fees of $195). A friend had to drive my Wife and I across town to pick up my stolen vehicle. The owner of this business should be drug to court in a class action suit by everyone he has done this to. Further info on that- coming.

It took them 45 minutes to an hour to get to me when they were only 5 to 10 minutes away. I had to apologize to the restaurant that I was sitting at because they had a small parking lot and I took up two spots of theirs that they could have been using for their business. And every time I would call they would say oh they should have been there all theyre on their way or Oh Theyll be there in just a minute. They are very untrustworthy.

Car was in service department of garage within 30 minutes. Starter switch was replaced within an hour.
