I had a Steinway baby grand moved from storage to my house and my old Chickering upright piano moved from my house to a new owner’s home in one fell swoop. Derek and Andy were wonderfully professional, and more than happy to teach this curious pianist all about the process of moving the instrument, which they did with careful yet efficient skill. The Emporium was accommodatingly flexible with scheduling and paying for the move was super easy and reasonably priced. I plan to employ their highly-recommended technicians and tuners to maintain my new instrument as well. Can’t recommend enough!
Piano Emporium provides a variety of pianos and other instruments. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. My experience all around was fantastic. I had the pleasure of working with Dave to determine my final purchase of my Yamaha Clavinova. Magnificent instrument! The deliver was prompt and professional, best yet included with my purchase! Also, not to be left unsaid: Andy and Jermaine, the delivery technicians, were friendly and incredibly accommodating and careful to ensure my complete satisfaction with the placement. Andy is very talented on the keys! Get him to play you a tune as he did me! I would highly recommend Piano Emporium!
Shane was very helpful and knowledgeable helping us pick out our new piano. I would certainly recommend Piano Emporium.
An excellent place to deal with. Not to mention, the prices are competitive with online prices. Much nicer to go see the piano first hand and walk out with it the same day. They even mailed a thank you letter after our purchase. We will be back!
Piano Emporium did a wonderful job moving my 107 year old Steinway O. Would highly recommend them for any instrument moving job. They also have a beautiful two-floor show room in Asheville with lovely instruments. David and his staff are all great, friendly, and very helpful.
Had a Steinway grand piano restored by these guys last year. Absolutely fantastic job! Wouldnt go anywhere else for piano needs.
From David who introduced us and eventually sold us our wonderful piano, to the smooth delivery and set up with Germaine and J. D., to Shane who helped us with our humidifier and answered so many questions about our pianos history and Chris who tuned it (and was so nice to my dog!) the journey with Piano Emporium has been a pleasure. Professional knowledge combined with a warm welcoming manner, this is the place you want to begin and successfully end your search for the perfect piano for your needs.
If you are looking for a piano, either digital or acoustic, this is the place to go! Dave is especially great....no pressure, knowledgeable, knows when you want help and when you want to just play the different models to make a decision.Recently I called them with some questions that I needed help with. Even though it had been a couple of months since I had purchased my piano, their attitude was just the same ....come on in and let us help you!I cant say enough good things about Dave and Piano Emporium.
I have been acquainted with Shane for seven years starting when he tuned my Baldwin upright. During the following years I traded for a refurbished baby grand, decided that I would like to purchase a new baby grand, and finally relocated back to Florida for family reasons. The service and care that I received during those years was exemplary. He moved our piano to Florida and treated it far more kindly than any movers I know! The professionalism with which he conducts business is of the highest level. Piano Emporium is definitely one of the finest in its field.
This store is amazing! Excellent selection of pianos. Dave, Andy, and the rest of the team are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and simply love music. Sometimes I just go and play piano there. Anyone seriously considering purchasing a piano should go to Piano Emporium!
Dave and Andy were great. They helped me and my family around the store and showed us some great equipment. I would definitely go back.
I can see why this place already has 13 five star ratings. Really this company went above and beyond to deliver a piano for me, and everyone was so move and professional about it. Would highly recommend!
Love, love, love this place! Hands on owner who cares about the customer. If youre on the market for a piano (or piano movers) I highly recommend Piano Emporium. After much research, I bought a Yamaha M306 Cherry upright from the Hendersonville Rd location. Knowledgeable, personable staff and the movers are reliable, careful, and right on time. A great local business!
I am so thankful for the great help I got from Dave at the Hendersoville Road Emporium. I needed a digital piano for my smallish condo and wanted to be sure I got the best vrtual piano experience I could, careful to only burden my budget with just the right feature set that would be essential to enhancing my piano experience. Dave graciously encouraged me to sample nearly every piano in the store over the course of 2+ months and several visits. I got an amazing education on the features and responsiveness that appeal to me. Result—I got just the right instrument!
I was Clueless about ordering a Band Instrument,He was wonderful help through everything,Very Affordable pricesQuality instrument and Knowledgeable Local Business
A baby grand was on my bucket list, but its not a decision made lightly. When I found Piano Emporium and met Shane, I knew immediately that I could trust them to find the perfect piano for me. They did—a beautiful, 96-year-old Sohmer Cupid completely restored. Shane and his crew remain a dependable part of this experience, tuning, and advising on care and maintenance. Piano Emporium stands behind my investment as if it were still in their personal care.
The exemplary character of Shane is reflected in his stellar service and that of his employees. His depth of piano knowledge is mind blowing. Simply put, I highly recommend this business and love my new Yamaha!!!
