Seems to be a common occurrence with this company. Curtis answered after a warranty company called him about servicing a generator that needed to be done at the house or the company pick it up. When I talked to Curtis the first time, he said he would be by in the next 2-3 days to get it. He never came, even after my concerns of an upcoming snow report.I called him back a week later. He remembered me and said he was glad I called. He once again said he would be by in 2-3 days. I never heard from him nor did he come to service or pick up the generator.2 weeks later (today) I called him back again. I told him that I was a little mad that he told me twice he would come get the generator, and twice he didnt. I told him I would be leaving a review and he said:Oh, is that how it is now? Your going to leave me a bad review because Im busy. I dont even know if I am going to get paid by the warranty company. How do I know Im going to get paid? I told him if that was the concern, to tell me that in the beginning, but apparently he wanted to promise something and not deliver. I dont know. From the other reviews it really seems like scheduling and over promising and under delivering is a common theme. I dont know if I would take anything to get done at this business if you have an expectation of timeline.Oh yea, and he said If you blast me Ill just turn around and blast you back Real professional!

Dropped off power washer and lawnmower FOUR months ago. Curtis told me it would be about two weeks. After 6 weeks I went by to check on it. The power washer was ready but no one had called me. They hadnt even looked at the mower - which only needed a new blade. Waited a month then I called and they said they would have someone call me back. Never happened. Just stopped by today - FOUR MONTHS AFTER DROPPING IT OFF - and Marshall, guy at the counter, went in back and said that they still have not looked at it! THEN he said that at their rate of $100/hour it wasnt even worth looking at! That it was a disposable mower. Only needs a new blade! Worthless.UPDATE 8/11/2020: Went by last week to pick up the mower and Marshall said that they had actually looked at it (which I doubted immediately) and that the shaft was bent, so it was a throw away. I took it straight to another small engine repair shop. Short story -- they tuned it up, replaced the blade and it works great! No bent shaft! Once again, WORTHLESS. Skip this business! (BTW - Marshall (5 star review here) is the Marshall that works there - ignore his 5 stars! Maybe Curtis does not own or work there anymore (?))Reply to owner response: Well, it is a self propelled mower with a troy-built motor that works fine and the next small engine shop had no problem replacing the blade (no bent shaft) and I had it back within two days for a total cost of $40.

Small engine repair, mostly lawn care equipment, from small residential equipment to large commercial machines. Friendly atmosphere, not cheap but worth the price....

Love this store for generators and lawn mowers. They even have the electric powered power tools that my wife loves and uses. A big win. Family owned which I like to support over big box stores and excellent customer service. Will definitely be shopping here again. Love supporting local!!

Called them about fixing my mower, then dropped it off. They kept pushing the repair date farther and farther out. Finally when I went to pick it up (because they never got around to working on it), they told me that they would have only been repairing it for me “as a favor” because they usually only do commercial customers. If that’s the case then they should have told me that when I first called and not wasted my time.

My mower went in running and sputtering and came out knocking and grinding and dead. It’s a mystery how that happened, but I guess I’m out of luck. I wonder if anybody else had the same experience.
