Greg and his team were very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. Right away, they assessed the damaged area, went to work, and finished setting up with in one day. It did take 4 days to fully dry out the damaged area. Ed came to get the equipment and not only did he do just that, he noticed a smell of a strange odor. He took the time to look at the entire house before leaving to make sure nothing was leaking. We were fortunate enough it wasnt anything serious. These guys did a great job on our carpets and area rug!! Mary was great to work with over the phone and Ed and his sweet helper were so friendly and worked hard. The house smelled so good while they were vacuuming to make sure that when they cleaned the carpet nothing was there. Once they were done, the smell of the cleaner didnt linger long after but it also was a pleasant smell and not a strong cleaner smell. I will definitely be using them again!!

Simply the best! I cant say enough about how very pleased I am with Mary and Ed Palermos Rainbow International emergency service to me as a new home owner in Asheville. When painters came a week before I was to move in they discovered wet spots in the master bedroom ceiling. That brought their work to a halt, and threatened to throw my entire moving schedule into disarray. I was coming in from out of state and had to be back at work only a few days after moving in, so it was crucial for the painting to start again as soon as possible. Ed came out to the house right after I called, and diagnosed the problem (a small leak in the roof from recent thunderstorms) while Mary found a contractor who fixed the leak that afternoon. Ed cleaned up the damage in the attic, disinfected the spots, and got the ceiling dried and ready to paint in less than 24 hours. I moved in right on schedule. That wouldnt have happened without Mary and Eds quick response, excellent coordination with the contractors, and dedication to seeing the job done right -- and right away.And did I add that Marys cleaning crew did a move-in cleaning the day before the movers arrived? They made a 70-year-old house sparkle like new!

We were so pleased with our carpet cleaning from Rainbow. Ed did such a wonderful job (even got gum and silly putty out of the carpets and youd never know it was there). Stains are completely gone. Ed was very efficient and very nice to talk with as well. Im very sensitive to chemicals, but the natural, Eco-friendly products they use not only didnt affect me, but also have a great citrus scent and worked perfectly. Ed knows his stuff! Rainbow International is amazing and I cant recommend them enough. We moved into a house that had some carpeting in one of the bedrooms and on the stairway. The carpet was really worn and dirty and our intention was to replace it. I decided to contact Rainbow International to see if they could give them a good cleaning until we could replace them. Did they ever! The carpets look new and now we are questioning if we have to replace them at all! They guys were so nice and did the job in a little under 2 hours. The cost was totally reasonable. I needed to clear a couple dumpster loads debris after an attic fire. The largest fire remediation company in town, Proserve, wanted to charge me $150 just to bid on the project, and if I didnt choose them, they wanted to keep the $150. I was pleased to find that they arent the only game in town. Rainbow International came to look at my job for free, spent an hour with me explaining their recommendations, quoted me a fair price for the job, and scheduled me within a week. Their employees were courteous, conscientious, and personable. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.

Liberty Mutual Insurance was contacted about a severe water leak that had occurred in my home. WITHIN ONE HOURS TIME, I was contacted by Rainbow International of Asheville. Ed Palermo, owner, arrived promptly at my home, took moisture readings and got down to business. The damaged bathroom floor was promptly removed, and huge fans were put in the bathroom. As the water had run into my bedroom under my hardwood floors, special mats and additional fans were placed there. An additional fan was placed under the house to dry the sub-floor.The equipment was installed on Friday night. Ed has returned EVERY DAY to make sure that the equipment is working. It appears that the equipment will be removed tomorrow and my hardwoods will be saved! Update to follow!

After determining what was causing the water damage with the use of thermal imagery and humidity sensors, the area was immediately disinfected from mold, and fans and dehumidifiers were positioned to remove any excess moisture. What impressed me was this was accomplished while I was at work, yet my wife was not made to feel concerned at any time.The next morning, Ed returned again in person to check the humidity levels, not only in my basement and other parts of my house that might have been affected, but also the basement humidity levels of the neighbors that share common walls with me. He was able to explain everything with me in a manner that I was able to comprehend – allowing me to feel as if I had some control over the situation.All in all, the level of personal customer service demonstrated by Mary, the expertise and helpful explanation provided by Ed, and the effectiveness and efficiency of their team allowed a situation that had every chance to be a Christmas catastrophe to be a learning experience for me with hardly any lasting damage.
