We hired Heart to Home to transform a cement basement room into a finished office for work-from-home. They handled the entire job, start to finish, and did excellent work at every step. They worked creatively with odd features of the space in a way that allowed us to avoid hiring an engineer (which would have added months and thousands of dollars to the project), and still made the space functional and beautiful. They were responsive to our requests and questions, pleasant to have on-site, timely, and reasonably priced. I would hire Heart to Home again without reservation!

Clint and his crew did a fantastic job on our fence! Our main objective for getting a fence was for our dogs to roam around outside without a leash, and Clint went the extra mile to make sure the fence was secure so the dogs couldnt escape. Heart to Home has done 3 projects for us now within about 3 years time: tiled our Kitchen floor, took down walls/cabinets and opened up our living room, and framed in a ventless fireplace with custom built in shelves surrounding. The whole team is amazing, takes their time, are thorough from planning to construction, with super workmanship. An added bonus is that they are ALL Genuinely great people. Highly recommend!!

We haved used Heart to Home for several projects. They did a fantastic job each and every time from putting in landscaping, adding stairs to a deck, fencing, and adding a new bathroom and bedroom. All of their is work is beautiful and in-line with exactly what we wanted. Even made us some custom made barn doors. All the crew is great to work with. Very good communication and always started and finished on time. Very trustworthy and do a great job of keeping things tidy as the projects are in the works. I would recommend them to everyone. This firm painted a one bedroom apartment for a family member. The painters gave us a reasonable estimate and kept to the price. They purchased the paint for us at no mark up. They were prompt with their estimate, scheduled the job when we wanted it, and showed up as promised. The painting was excellent -- very neat, no clean up, and furniture moved back into place. Very professional, responsive, and pleasant to work with.

Most of our backyard is a steep slope that drains rainwater into the flat area adjacent to our house, which frequently makes the ground there wet, muddy, slippery, and a hassle to walk over. Clint designed a workable and economic solution: an attractive 4-foot wide walkway with metal edging, gravel, and concrete pavers spanning the width of the level ground in the backyard, plus several wood-framed steps up the steepest part of the slope. Clint gave us an itemized, competitively priced estimate and a detailed explanation of what the project would entail. As a former schoolteacher, Clint is an excellent communicator, and consulted with us often to offer choices and alternatives as to how we wanted the job done. For example, he checked with us to make sure he spaced the pavers to match my wife’s stride for easy, natural walking along the pathway. We’re very happy with the results. The Heart To Home work crew arrived promptly and their post-project cleanup was meticulous. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work was very satisfying, and our new walkway will enhance the beauty, convenience, and value of our backyard for years to come. Highest recommendation!

Heart to Home gave a reasonable estimate to build stairs down a steep backyard and the most affordable out of three estimates. Clint and crew provided professional service, conferred to make sure the actual stairs fit with our plans, and the end product is so beautiful! They were prompt, courteous, and when we get a plan for phase 2 of our landscaping, we will go to this company first, and I wont have to bother getting other estimates this time.

Clint and his guys did a great job restoring, repainting and cleaning up my house at a very fair price and in only two days! They pruned back some decorative plants around the house, laid mulch, cleared out a completely overgrown back yard, pressure washed the entire exterior, replaced and repainted some water damaged wood around the carport/roof and repainted the majority of the inside.After dealing with several contractors that only gave the vaguest of estimates concerning the jobs time frame, it was a relief when I met Clint for a walk through and got an immediate estimate for two days work. All in all, the house looks brand new and I couldnt be happier. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for any type of work that needs doing.

Everyone knows that moving can be stressful even under the best circumstances. Recently my wife and I moved from Asheville to Chapel Hill thanks to the help of Heart to Home. We hired them to help us pack a 17’ U-Haul truck with our most valued (and heaviest) furniture, boxes of breakables and other assorted items. They had another job scheduled for the same day, but they arranged to come to our house early and help us. Tim and Will worked tirelessly and conscientiously until the truck was completely loaded. When we unpacked the truck in Chapel Hill, all furniture and breakables arrived without a scratch—in perfect condition!We returned to Asheville to donate approximately twelve remaining items of furniture to a local charity, but the truck driver could not safely navigate our narrow street. At this point, we were in a real crisis. We had to be out of our house in a few days with no way to remove the heavy furniture.Seemingly at the end of our rope, we called Heart to Home again and explained our dilemma. Clint and Tim came to our rescue after working all day on another job. They worked late to remove all twelve items. Clint and Tim went above and beyond the call of duty.I cant say enough good things about these guys! Clint and Tim are absolutely the best workers we have ever hired. I sent a photograph from the web to Clint and he built me just what I wanted. He gave me a price quickly and stuck to it. I am very happy with my garden space and now it is nearly all planted. Clint worked carefully and was willing to adjust to my schedule so that I could load the soil into the boxes before the fencing was installed. The gate is just what I wanted - much better than a ready-made gate. He worked with the slope in the yard and made certain that everything is level and square. I look forward to many years with this great garden space. I am already getting fresh herbs from it....cant wait for the tomatoes and beans!

Asked for assistance from Heart to Home of Asheville in moving several pieces of heavy, expensive furniture from Hendersonville to Arden. Clint provided me an estimate given my verbal description the pieces and we set a date that was mutually beneficial to both of us. He and his partner arrived in a timely manner which minimized travel costs.Although I was more than a tad skeptical when they arrived in a pickup with a large lawn cart with lawn tools, both men were incredibly sensitive to each piece of furniture, carried each from the house to their truck with exceptional care, and wrapped the furniture appropriately for the ride. The delivery and setup was fast as well and no scratches, breaks, or damage occurred.Suffice to say, Heart to Home of Asheville is rated with 5-stars, A++ in this review. They were a tad less expensive than the initial quote because of their efficiency although this was already a fair price and lower than other companies. What stood out was the professionalism of both men, their care for each piece of furniture, and dedication to the job done. I can’t recommend these guys more highly.
