I love this office. Everyone that works here is courteous and works efficiently. I noticed that the staff is not required to wear a mask. I am wondering what the criteria for an exemption is. Can you help with that?

I’ve visited this location 3x and usually it’s been a smooth ride each time. We had longer wait times in the cold winter weather standing outside online because of covid but the staff was still working hard and moving quickly as they helped customers inside.

This place is awesome and so is the staff. I went to buy a vehicle in Hendersonville and there is a tag office 2 blocks away, I drove 40 minutes (traffic) to this office just because of the staff, and I will continue to drive here no matter the distance just for this reason alone if no other. The lines are short and if there is a wait it usually isnt long.Thank you ladies for all your help over the years!

I visited today to inquire about an replacement title, assuming mine had been lost in the mail. It was not lost, it was still being processed. The clerk contacted the office in Raleigh and had them process my title to be sent out tomorrow. I believe her name is Mary. Thank you for going above and beyond!

I was in a line of about 50 people on the last day of the month (and a friday) and the card machines had stopped working, so everyone had to get cash from the ATM. The ATM ran out of money when I was trying to pay but it was almost closing time so I didnt have time to go get some anywhere else. Erica was so sweet, she offered to let me in after closing if I wanted to run to the Ingles to get cash, and even gave me her cell number in case the door was locked! She was beyond accommodating in what could have been a very stressful moment, and I hope her managers see this and recognize her! Thanks Erica(:

Knowledgeable, kind, expedient service. I will not ever go to the other location again. These places are privately contracted and owned and this location cares about people truly as evidenced by the woman at the door taking paperwork for someone to hand in and found photos of their grandchild in the paperwork. She ran to their car to return it. The person at the counter, Cindy has always been very knowledgeable and gone above and beyond to answer my questions and help me in achieving what I came for. Exceptional staff! (The other location is rude, ignorant and purposely not helpful.)

I have tried to call them for two days now and all I get is a busy signal. I even emailed them and havent heard a thing. My tag runs out on Memorial Day and I paid for it online a month ago and still havent received my sticker.

The Forest Center is the best DMV anywhere (and not so crowded.) Knowledgeable, polite and helpful and dont mess around! Ignore the phone complaint.Same person would Karen out if they made her wait to answer the phone. I was there today 9/30 and waited behind 2 people and was in and out 5 minutes. Be nice!

Even though we have social distancing they try and make sure everyone is in and out. Very polite and courteous, and they also dropped a fee cause of the hard times of covid. Thank You you dont realize how much just a smile brighten up your day.

The workers there were very friendly, helpful and professional. I arrived around 9:30 in the morning and there was a short line of people, not too bad. They were quick but you didn’t feel rushed and they weren’t impatient. I was very pleased with the service.

I tried to call to see if they were open, I got an answering machine that had some helpful information but about halfway through the message someone picked up the phone, hung the phone up and then took the phone off the hook so that when I called back I got a busy signal. Not sure why they wouldnt even let me finish listening to the message on their answering machine.

Our first try at getting NC plates for our cars happened at the office off of Patton Ave and it was disastrous...we were given incorrect information and summarily dismissed...very unhelpful.Our experience at this office was fabulous. Extremely helpful, pleasant, courteous and efficient. We cannot say enough good things about our clerk and her delightful smile.

Why spend money with a facility that refuses to ANSWER the phone. They are Subcontracted by the state, the Owner and Employee’s develop income from customers, but they refuse to answer the phone. Even the gentleman in the side office. I know they can be very busy earning income off your state requirements but SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH A FACILITY THAT CARES INSTEAD OF RELIES ON AN ANCIENT ANSWERING MACHINE TO DIVERT WORK

Coming from out of state to register for the first time I didn’t know what to expect. The office is neat, clean and organized. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly, efficient and positive. They multitasked efficiently and with a smile. Any negative comments shown below here must have applied to an entirely different planet of personnel.Went at 9am on a Friday.

Had to go 2x in 4 days and experience was GREAT! All the usual anxiety of going to the DMV was taken away. Worked with 2 different ladies at the counter and they were both extremely helpful, accommodating, and courteous. Not what I expected, but pleasantly surprised.

Excellent help and clarity in giving us the best way to handle our move from FL to NC - and at the same time changing cars in the VW-Audi TDI buy-back. OK here goes - in all my years living in Florida prior to your DMV visit you would have to get a good nights rest, drink a calming solution, take one (or several) Valium and bring your spiritual advisor with you to the DMV to be able to face that fiasco and the absolutely horrible attitudes of the employees . . .I am so pleased to say my visit to the Hendersonville Road Office today was 180 degrees the opposite - - - this office is the best!!! I walked in wearing my USS Saratoga ball cap and was immediately met by a fellow that served at Mayport Naval Station around the time I did . . . as we chatted (and exchanged lies) the line moved rapidly and I was also observing the staff and their interaction with customers - - I am so pleased to say they were all friendly and appeared to be very happy with their chosen profession, exchanging pleasantries with their customers - - personally, I had the extreme pleasure of dealing with Debbie - - me being somewhat of a nut case and a tease I laid it out and she gave as good back as she got - - we had a fun conversation and everyone seemed to enjoy the levity of the situation.About a month ago I stopped at the office on Patton and was met with a cold stand offish uncaring typical employee one would expect from a typical DMV Office.I read the reviews and the Hendersonville Road Office was rated very high. So I figured what the heck let me give them a try - - I am so glad I did.....Take these ladies and use them to show everyone else how to get it done . . . . AND - - before you ask, I dont work there, none of my family works there and until today I never met these fine folks . . . thank you ladies for a good experience and a fun time, and Ms. Debbie have fun at Disney with the Grandkids. However . . . . I still wish I could have gotten some sort of discount . . . .LOL!

Sub-contractors, not direct government employees. It is so much better here than dealing with the actual DMV. Same facilities and can do everything for vehicle licensing, but with a smile and actual concern for customer service and care.

In disbelief at how easy my visit to this office was. All of the workers are very helpful and kind. Even on a Monday at lunchtime it didn’t take that long to get through the line. I’ve never had such a positive experience with a DMV. Thank you!
