A/C unit completely stopped working while we were sleeping last night, called at 8 a.m. this morning and had a technician out at the house by 2 p.m same day. I wasnt physically present myself, but the issue was quickly diagnosed and fixed within a very short time period. Was told they were friendly and efficient. Thank you guys again, we will definitely use Haynes for our future heating/air issues!
Same day repair service, even though we were new clients. The repairman showed me exactly what was wrong with the unit and walked me through preventative maintenance. Contact from first phone call through the end of service was all very professional and friendly.
Came home from vacation to find our ac not working. Called 3 places before Haynes who were rude or couldn’t get us in that day. Haynes came 1 hour after we called. Diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend
Our A/C unit completely stopped working this evening. I called Haynes Heating & Cooling the next morning, and Sergey, the service technician, was at our house by 11 AM. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (burned out circuit on the motherboard). He was very efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. After returning the A/C to service, he performed routine maintenance. He had a great sense of humor and made the process enjoyable all around. Now our A/C is stronger and more efficient than ever. We look forward to working with Sergey in the future for yearly HVAC maintenance. Thank you, Sergey.

I definitely called the right place. My air conditioning wasn’t working and Sergey came out within 1/2 hr. He was thorough in cleaning the filters, adding freon and fixing wiring that was damaged and tested everything. Very kind, efficient, knowledgeable, integral and respectful. I am quite impressed with his work and Haynes’ expediency and cost (very low) with my situation. I highly recommend them! Thank you Sergey!

Purchased new furnace. Had a few issues but Haynes came out and scheduled time to take care of everything. They say they guarantee full satisfaction and they do. Happy customer now and would use Haynes again.
Had a Fog in my home one evening, looked up reviews for the best HVAC companies. Decided to use Haynes, bc I thought they were a reputable company. They came out, DX the problem, that my evaporator coil was leaking refrigerant and needed to be replaced. Charged me $95 for diagnosis fee. The estimate for labor and replacing the evaporator coil was $1605.... They came out replaced the coil, I felt like the job was done quickly and poorly, and I understand the technicians had to quit working bc it was storming and I was ok with them coming back the following Monday to finish, but I wasn’t ok with having to Pay before the service was finished!!! No breakdown of prices, or a contract with warranty... nothing! I had to call a private contractor to come look over the job Haynes did, he found that Haynes did not install the right piston and the original .076 had not been replaced and left inline.... and that the outdoor unit required a .065.... he also noticed the Delta “T” between the supply and return temps should be between 18-20 degrees and it was only 10 degrees. So I had to pay this contractor an additional $200 plus what I already paid Haynes to find their mistakes...... contacted Haynes, they came back out and installed the right piston size. This is so unfair and I feel like I should be reimbursed, as I would not had to pay more money out of pocket, if Haynes would have done the job correctly to start with!! UPDATE: Haynes reimbursed me the additional $200 I had to pay, I really appreciate the apology and service manager delivered a check to my home.

He came to my home to inspect an AC unit a couple weeks ago and exceeded my expectations handedly based on typical prior experiences with other companies.• showed up on time• displayed expertise by immediately laying out a plan to determine the core issue• kept me in the loop and gave detailed answers to any question I had• was quick and tidy in making the repairs necessary• gave recommended routine maintenance I could do myself and also some things I should consider consulting a professional for in the futureNot to mention he had a great sense of humor and made the process enjoyable all around.Very pleased and look forward to working with him again when the time comes.
I have dealt with other local heating and cooling companies in the past, and Haynes is clearly the best. Adam and the reception staff worked hard to accommodate me when I greatly needed it. I wish I had done more work with Haynes company sooner, but now they are in my speed dial.
We had a mini-split system installed to augment our basement apartment. Haynes Heating and Cooling provided the most cost effective bid. The job was scheduled the same week around our schedule. And Chuck and his crew finished the job in a day. The line set and conduit was covered or trimmed out nicely. Our floor was covered while the crew worked inside and everything was cleaned up before they left. Im extremely happy with the job overall. This is my third experience with Haynes companies. Weve also contracted with Haynes for a small plumbing job and an electrical service change-out. Based on our consistent experiences Im not sure why anyone in this area would contract with anyone else.

I had a guy come in from Haynes to do an initial inspection of the hvac of the house I just bought. The bill was $80. He concluded that the system was dead and recommended that I start from scratch. I asked that he have his salesmen call me so that I could get a new system through them. He said hed pass my info along. I never got a call. How do you turn down easy business like that?
We had a moisture issue in our basement with no apparent source as to where it was coming from. We had used a competitor of Haynes who came out and did much of nothing but run a brush through a pipe, which did not fix the problem, and got charged $135.00. I decided to try Haynes and was so impressed with the level of detail their technician went through trouble shooting the issue. He spent nearly 2 hours establishing base line readings throughout the house, checking intake and outtake pressure and temps, running calculations on the size of the unit based on the size of the house and managed to crawl into a crawlspace that mickey mouse couldnt fit in just to check humidity levels in it. He ultimately tracked down the source of moisture and we got it resolved. I have never seen any technician of any trade go that effort to help a customer. And the bill was less than their competitor who only stayed 10 minutes... I have since decided to sign up for a semiannual maintenance agreement with Haynes and have all our scheduled HVAC maintenance done by Haynes. They even guaranteed we could have the same technician who provided our service. We are very happy with choosing Haynes.

I have had the coverage on my electrical through Progress Energy and now Duke-Progress energy for 25 years. I have only used it one time prior to today. It took 2 weeks to get someone out from MB Haynes. I ask why so long & they said there was a mix up with my order. When the rep named Barry came out & learned numerous receptacles need replaced he immediately went into OH NO mode! He said he called Duke energy & wouldnt be able to replace my receptacles because they still worked. I called Duke and ask what Barry reported as the problem? Duke said Barry mentioned a nightlight in one of my bathrooms as a problem. I couldnt believe BARRY tried this!!! I explained that the cord falls out of numerous outlets throughout the house when you plug them in & has nothing to do with a night light in a childs bathroom. He still continued to say they work so I cant replace them.I called Duke while BARRY was here. The agent said that she was the one who spoke to Barry and agreed if if the outlet allow cords to fall out they still worked.. HOW SAD!!!! I called back for a supervisor & Duke Energy rescheduled an appointment with MB Haynes on Friday to repair the receptacles as they should have today! I told them NEVER SEND BARRY OUT TO MY HOME AGAIN!
Ledin came to our house approximately 2 weeks ago and fixed our upstairs a/c. At the time he told us that there was an additional part that probably should be changed but it was 50/50 as to whether it would go out shortly. Low on cash, we opted to take our chances. And the a/c worked. Until it didnt, and sounded like there was a motorcycle in our attic. Still low on cash we made it through this past week and called for them to come back out to fix said part. Today, we found out it was 2 parts that were causing the problem and the sound. Knowing we were low on funds Ledin got authorization not to have to charge us the second service fee since it was so short between the visits. I literally said to my office mate, Thank baby Jesus for him earlier today. We are trying to afford a small wedding and have relatives coming in town tomorrow. He definitely saved our weekend!
It starts with the nicest staff(Miriam) greeting you on the phone and finding the best person to speak that will then find a way to help you ASAP. Best staff and technicians whether it is HVAC, electric or plumbing commercially or residentially. Give them a call!!
