I did the SSI Full Face Mask specialty certification last night with Scott P. and it was very informative. Scott took his time explaining the differences in design and function when using a full face mask versus a traditional mask and regulator, and we spent 90 minutes going through the skills in the pool. He taught me tricks and tips and at the end of the session, I felt confident that I could troubleshoot any issues I encounter on my own.

I am recently new to the Denver Metro area...I visited all of the dive shops in the area I could find. I went into Coral Key and the owner had stock in a wide variety of equipment, including masks. We had a conversation and we discussed the pros and cons of the different equipment he had and others he didn’t and why he stocked what he had. I had done my research prior and new what the gear was rated and prices. I did not overpay for a single item and I got some of the best advice I didn’t know I needed. That day I became a lifetime customer.While on one of my dives I was able to help other divers with some of the tips I had learned from the owner. So, thank you for your expert advice and service and I’m sure the other divers would thank u as well!!

Super friendly service and awesome little shop for sure. Im not a diver, but I went in for a good prescription face mask (to maintain my pool) and they had exactly what I needed. Very happy with the product and people.

These guys are very knowledgeable about all things scuba as well as being very wise regarding all things marine life. We talked to Dan for about 30 minutes just about Sharks and you can tell that all the people here are extremely passionate about their studies and work. Great people and wonderful shop!

I recently took my open water scuba lessons and certification with Coral Key Scuba and Travel. It is a great course that is super informative. Our instructor Scott had an incredible amount of experience, first hand knowledge and was very patient. He also made it a lot of fun. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal shop. With the myriad dive shops around the Denver area, Coral Key has consistently been the friendliest, most informative and fairly priced shop Ive visited. Hands down they have the best deals on classes, especially for those beginning scuba, and the staff are beyond willing to take all the time you need to find the right gear. Far and away the most familial yet quirky shop Ive been to!

While the staff is friendly, I had to go back since they didnt fill my air container all the way. Both times I went in, the young man helping customers wasnt wearing a mask. This is illegal in Colorado and I wont be going back there.

Best place to get gear and training done all around!!!!

I didnt realize I would be nervous and truthfully insecure about scuba diving. The staff at Coral Key took their time with me to ensure my safety and comfort level while getting certified as an open water diver. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring, and always willing to offer one on one classes if I need it. The shop is clean and sells diving and snorkeling equipment as well as offers classes and group trips to beautiful diving destinations.

We have been shopping at Coral Reef/Key since they opened and have had nothing but excellent service. They carry top of the line products and their service technicians have done excellent work on our gear every year for our annual services. They can service the gear they sell plus many, many other brands. We have taken trips with them and have another scheduled for this August. If you want friendly, knowledgeable, fun staff, this is definitely the place to take your classes, travel with, and buy your equipment.

Great customer service, we spent about an hour picking out snorkel gear. The employee was very helpful and knowledgeable and made sure what we bought was best for our needs. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. All of the staff are very knowledgeable, and upfront about everything they carry. Great place to get gear and learn to dive.

I was fortunate enough to go to the 2012 Bash with this shop and it was amazing. I am not sure what trip this other person attended but sounds like hell hath no fury like. Randy was nothing but pleasant and professional. There was absolutely no hint of anything unsafe or any harassment, this was also due to the caliber of rest of the folks on the trip and the great dive masters from the divi. I personally call Bu11sh1+ on the other post stating anything to the contrary. This trip was so amazing I have already put down a deposit on the spring Cozumel trip.

Took a basic open water class here with Jacob. I learned a lot of very useful skills right away even just in the pool. The open water dives solidified what I learned in the comfort of the pool even if the water was a bit murky. My first real dive In the ocean was in the Seychelles with a local dive shop I had never been to. First dive right out of the gate was to 35 meters (110+ feet). However I felt so ready after the classes, and I’m adventurous, so I went with the first group. The dive was excellent and over an old sunken wreck. After about 30 minutes down we began our ascent and stopped at 10-15 meters for our safety stop. At this point due to a faulty air gauge I began to run out of air!! However due to my thorough training with Jacob I did not panic. I signaled the dive leader “out of air” he swam over and gave me his spare air hose and then 30 seconds later my dive buddy and I shared her spare air. I finished my safety stop and we went to the surface normally. I can’t say enough about how well the lessons with Jacob prepared me for a real dive and more importantly how easy it was to remember all of the safety procedures I practiced. I 100% recommend this dive shop and the staff!

These Guys get a kick out of slamming the door in your face and yelling at you come back tomorrow. I will never step foot in your place. Because you wont let folks. Drove 45 min, to get there. Web site says open to 6:30. M-F and pulls the door out of your hand at 5:15 on sat. First time to your door, and last.shame, shame shame!!!!

The information in that post is not from me and does not accurately portray my experiences on the 2012 Bonaire trip.I did go to Bonaire (Colorado Scuba Bash) with Coral Key Scuba in 2012. I traveled as a single, though elected to share a room with someone who was also traveling as a single on this trip. Even though I was a nervous new diver, at no time did I feel that I was in an unsafe situation while diving as I had been well-trained by my instructors. Also, there were several Dive Masters in our group, as well as those from the resort who were on our boat. They assisted me by answering my questions and checking my gear at my request to ease my new-diver nerves.At no point did I witness any form of sexual harassment, either on the boat or at the hotel, by Randy or any other individual associated with this store.This was my first of many future scuba diving trips. I saw so many incredible things and was fortunate to travel with a fun-loving, laid-back group of folks who truly love the sport of diving. Looking forward to many more underwater adventures, though I will never again elect to save a few dollars by sharing a room with someone I do not know!
