Was looking for a place to upgrade my equipment - visiting from Michigan and found this awesome local shop. The guys who owned it were so helpful...I rarely write reviews but this shop is a serious gem. Tons of great lady gear too! I will totally order online from Michigan too.

What a cool shop!Great environment, I was greeted immediately. Super satisfied with how engaging Ralph was.Showed me around, and got all the information I needed. Would highly recommend going here for all your skate and snowboard needs. Theres nothing like walking into a raw authentic local skate shop setting!!

5280 is the best shop around hands down. The staff is super knowledgeable and also very friendly, every time I have visited this shop I’m always greeted and they take the time to show me around and see what I need and what brand is gonna fit those needs. Seriously if you haven’t visited this shop I would suggest you do so and if I could give them 6 stars for the service/repair they do on my gear I would!

The staff is nice and the shop is actually pretty cool but that is were all praise stops. My roommate and I dropped my board off on Sunday and was told it would be ready by Tuesday. I went in on Friday to pick them up and neither board was done. I paid for a full tune up and all they did was wax my board. They did refund the difference, which was very nice, but I still have a beat up board and am out $40. I still need to get my board fixed and was hoping to ride it this weekend, which is not possible now. If you care at all about receiving the services you pay for or have a day set up to ride and want the board back in time, I would go elsewhere. There is an abundance of board shops in this city that will actually give you the services you pay for.

Great local board and skate shop in Arvada! Tune and wax was very speedy for same day service. Attire for males and females. Stop by and give this local shop some business. Great prices and conversation.

Came here on my little brothers birthday, they said they opened at noon, and we pull up at 12:20 and it says on the door they went out to lunch? They left a number we called 3 times no answer, who goes to lunch right after they open a store? Honestly we drove 20 minutes to get here...

Very friendly atmosphere and there is always someone knowledgeable there to help you. Also their board waxes are amazing.

Stopped here at 12:30pm today (Saturday) to pick up some grip tape and new trucks. Internet says they open at 12p, and the sign on the door says 10a. Doors were locked, nobody around. Nothing posted on either door explaining why they weren’t open. Two other people showed up to shop while I was getting back in my car. Additionally, my wife stopped by a few months back to pick up a gift for our niece. She was looking to purchase a sticker pack (something listed on the website). When she asked an employee she was told “we don’t sell anything like that”, and was then ignored by said employee. I always try to support local skate shops, but I’m done with this one.

Is this place still in business? Doors have been locked during business hours when I’ve tried to come by twice

I stopped by to get wheels and bearings for my lil man’s first real skateboard. The two guys inside were chill and very very helpful. Super clean and organized shop! Solid selection of downhill and park skates!Good work!

So Me And A Couple Friends Went There at 12:30 and saw the out for lunch sign and rode around old town we came back every 20 minutes Called and they never answered and they didnt come back we were in that area for 4 hours waiting

Came here for the locally produced gear. They have a variety of funky/unique gear. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. These guys are clearly passionate about their trade and appreciate quality goods.

Went in for a birthday present for my son and they helped me find everything I needed and set it all up for me. Great place.

First time coming here and Ralph was and is SUPER AMAZING. Extremely happy I stopped in here and got to talk and pick up a new setup. Hes super knowledgeable and down to earth. Highly recommend coming by to meet and check out his merch and hospitality.

Ralph took care of me when I came in he is a really hard worker, with great work ethic and lots of knowledge on gear and so fourth. He deserves a raise! 10/10 would recommend his services when they come in to the board shop!

Drove all the way to the Arvada location on a Saturday during business hours and they are closed. Nothing on any page about being closed today. Very disappointed. Tried to support a local shop but aggravating when they just are not open.
