Friendly helpful folks. Decent rental prices. They will happily help you load/unload gear just ask! Equipment is usually in good shape.

Never try to call this place to check availability. You will waste an hour of your life bouncing between operators. I spend tens of thousands of dollars every year on lifts and it wont be at this place ever again. What a joke.

I cant say a whole lot about the entire store but for the tool rental department I received excellent customer service. I was curious about a specific diagnostic tool (I was considering buying one). But to rent it for four hours would cost more than I was willing to pay for the 10 minutes I wanted to try it out, so the counter staff allowed me to barrow it (in store only of course) but I was not charged and ended up buying one that day.

Rented a truck there the other day. Guys were cool, truck worked well and it was reasonably priced. Not sure what all the negative reviews were about.

The rental department is a joke. My company rents from them a few times a week. Due to the snow storm there was a two hour delay in return and the terrible employee Peter that I spoke with on the phone says theres nothing that can be done and a two day rental would be charged. What a joke of a person. Highly suggest getting rid of people like Peter. Its all about customer service. My company will never rent or shop from this location again. Very disappointed.

Was also given a non-working tool that we had to fix. No instructions on use and no product literature. Staff a little unfriendly at times. UPDATE: I increased review to 3 stars. They refunded some money due to non-working equipment and were very nice about it. Overall mixed experiences here. Some good, some bad.

I rented a U-Haul with a lift for 24 hrs and didnt complete our move that day, so I called in at 6pm and was able to rent for an extra day without any hassel.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Dont ever rent a vehicle from Home Depot! My husband is a contractor & constantly rents their van to drop off material. His truck is in the process of being repaired & due to good experiences with their rental service in the past, he recently rented their van for a month. Not only did they send the police to our house saying that hed stolen their van, over it being back late (which he had already called Home Depot & talked to them about). But, the police also made a huge scene out in front of our house & neighbors, in a very respectable neighborhood. Such an outrageous accusation and demonstration was totally uncalled for. I tried to explain that he still had equipment in the van and had left to drop it off & the van would be returned the next morning. They insisted it be returned immediately. My husband took it back right away. Home Depot then decided they were going to charge by the hour instead of giving him the monthly rate, which came to the ridiculous total of over $3,500. Additionally, he was so rushed to return it that they kept the equipment that my husband had in the back of van as well as a cellphone he accidently left in there. Theyve never contacted him to try to return it or anything. So, realistically, they ripped us off, made a scene in front of our home & also stole from my husband! Thousands of dollars worth of equipment! I cant believe how they acted over a stupid rental van and that they had the police harass me at my home over it. Thats a great way to keep loyal customers who easily spend tens of thousands of dollars at your store every year. Well now be going to Lowes across the street. My lawyer will be contacting the corporate office to pursue reimbursement for the equipment that Home Depot kept, in addition to compensation for the emotional distress and embarrassment that they caused me and my husband.

Tool rental is never maintained.. good luck if it works when you get to your job

Rented a rototiller that burned oil so bad that it would shut off because of a low oil alarm. Upon return, I mentioned the issue and the employee sain he forgot to tell me.

The service here is horrible, the stock is the and the tool rentals are the worst maintained that I have ever seen.
