I love the staff here. Theyre always friendly and very skilled. I get my undercut shaves done here and always go home happy. The store has a great atmosphere and is also very clean. The stylists take pride in their work, you can tell. All of them are very knowledgeable and have different strong skill sets. Ive never been disappointed with any of them. Get an appointment though! So they can block out the right amount of time for your service!

Floyds is always a great experience. The staff is incredibly talented,professional,and friendly. I take my teen children as well 2 daughters and a son and we all come out looking great. The extra cost associated with Floyds is absolutely worth it. They also carry great hair products that staff is knowledgeable and can give recommendations.

I was running a little late, and they refused my husband and I for our appointments after coming from across town. There was hardly anyone in the shop at this pointAlso, someone commented from Floyds to tell me they would be emailing me. Nobody did. And then they completely deleted their comment all together. Did I mention I still spent money in your shop that day?? Bought my husband a product for his hair, and my son was seen. We were trying to find somewhere to accommodate the whole family. Thanks Floyds. You guys really came through

I hadnt been to a salon for a haircut in years. But, needing to, I called a few different salons and Floyds have the best prices for what I needed, just a cut. I realized after a week that it just wasnt styling how I wanted. So I called and they got me in a couple days later. The Manager of this location did my hair and made it look great. There was no charge and she explained as she went what she was going to do and what the result would be and it was as she said. The shoulder massage at the end is a nice bonus.Great experience and Im very happy with my hair!

After being told there was a barber and driving 45 minutes to the location from my home in the mountains waiting 30 minutes after my appointment before sitting in the chair the gentleman told me he wasn’t a barber and he could not do what I needed this is not a barbershop it’s a joke go down the street to FADE In old town where they have real barbers They did such a good job I paid them double the price

She listens to what he wants (he’s quite particular) and she’s incredibly consistent. Holly is just not good at cutting hair. She talks too much and doesn’t concentrate. Lines left in my fade and no blending.

My husband just got back from a haircut here that looks like a 3 year old cut his hair. He somehow ended up with uneven layers in the back of his hair instead of a very normal haircut. Great clips does better work than this mess - he’s going to another person tomorrow at a different place to try to salvage his hair before we shave it and start over.DO NOT GO HERE.

The most unprofessional barber ever I have yet seen, I made an appointment to get hair and beard done at this location and wen I got there, they had the courage to tell me that they dont have nobody to take care of my beard only hair cut, and when I decided not to leave tip they charged me $6 dollars service fee, Very unprofessional, and rude, never going back there ever

I have been going here and seeing Caira for over two years. She is amazing. She knows how to treat her customers and her skills are unbelievable. She will take the time to really understand what type of look you are going for and never has an issue giving you exactly that. I dread the day I have to find someone else. The shop itself is always clean and the rest of the people working there are always polite and helpful.

Haircut was OK, atmosphere was on the rebel/punk side which is fine, but the chair and sink they rest your head on makes you feel like youre about to be executed during the French Revolution. I swear my neck was numb and had to keep readjusting thoughout half my haircut. Look elsewhere.

Made an appointment for a specific barber after reading reviews and recommendations.But when I got there, I was assigned to a different barber.I was already a little anxious since I was trying an entirely new barbershop since my normal barber was unavailable. So not having the barber I made an appointment for induced a bit more anxiety. I was also going to a wedding a few days later- no pressure.But everything turned out just fine- the haircut was good and the barber (who’s name I forget) was friendly and easy to talk to.I’ll be returning to my regular barber, but will not hesitate to go back to Floyd’s if I find myself in the same situation again where my regular barber is unavailable

Eric cuts my hair when I go here and he does a very good job, has great customer service skills, and pays close attention to detail. My only complaint about Floyds would be price. Which has nothing to do with Eric, but yeah I feel like the prices are a bit high. I still try to go in when I can because I do like the way Eric cuts my hair and I give him a 5 star review!

Cassandra rocked my haircut! I told her to come up with something that looked good and left it in her hands. She did not disappoint and shook me out of my rut of boring styles. Nice convivial vibe in the place as well and a great price point.

Came in a half hour before closing, was told they were booked so I went to another barber shop but their posting was wrong on when they closed. So I returned to Floyd’s 15 minutes later to find that some hairdressers were not helping anyone. I asked if they had anyone available now and I was told no. I will not be returning, I understand that appointments have first priority but if they didn’t want to help customers up until 6 they should close before then. I am up the creek without a paddle now because I based my schedule around their false or misleading closing time.

Though I hate the thought of people stealing her appointment times when I could use them, I completely understand... Hannah always does a magnificent job with my gnarly head of hair, is professional, personal, efficient, and she passes the wife test (my wife loves my hair whenever Hannah cuts it) with flying colors. I only go back to this location to get my hair cut now. Im sure the others are great there too, but Im quite thankful for Hannah and the work she does.

Thanks to Jackie, I am a regular at this location. I used to wait months between haircuts, when I was going to school in Pennsylvania because I wont let anyone cut my hair, but her. Not only does she give the best haircut that I have ever had, but she is extremely professional, and her coworkers look to her for advice and support when they are giving haircuts. I cannot recommend this location enough because of her.

I came in here looking to get a quick trim and clean up, I told the girl upfront that I need to be somewhere in an hour, she says no problem, it’ll be a 20 minute wait. Fine, I’m ok with waiting. I sit there, 40 minutes go by, she comes up to me and says they’ll be ready for me as soon as one of their employees comes back from lunch, IN 15 MINUTES. Also there was like three hairstylist just standing around doing nothing.You could of been honest upfront and not waste my time.

Its hard to find a good barber that is good at both haircuts and beards and also likes to trim beards. Jackie is great! I highly recommend her. Funny too!

I recently went to this floyds off of ward and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service. The wait was not bad and the atmosphere was comfortable. What really stood out was the service provided by my stylist Hannah she was nothing but inviting and made me feel very relaxed at a new place. Not a bad place for a hair cut. Freindly staff, clean store. I really wish they would wash their hands after a smoke break though. Ive been there three times and twice had to deal with nasty smoky hands close to my face (different hair stylists).

It is hard to find someone who can give me the hair cut that I prefer. Hannah has taken the time to figure out exactly how I like my hair and has even acquired new tooling to complete it to my liking. Will not go anywhere else.

I was so hesitant to cut my long mess of uncut hair in fear of it not looking good or it being cut wrong. The excellent barbers at Floyds 99 Barbershop fixed me up, and I was very happy with the results, more so than Ive ever been with barbershops. I will definitely be coming back and I recommend anyone near here or beyond to come get your hair cut in a vintage rock n roll barbershop setting.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I couldnt even tell you how my service was because I didnt get any. I went in and was told it would be a 20 to thirty minute wait. I waited well past that and watched customer after customer come in and get service before I did. I didnt worry about the ones that had appointments because I didnt have one. However, at least 3 customers went were called just minutes after coming in the door with the front desk person announcing well squeeze you in now after 45 minutes, I left without a haircut. Basically, I was completely ignored once I gave my name at the front desk. It looks like I wont be going back to Floyds again. That was the final straw for me.

Hannah has been cutting my hair for years now. She does a great job accomplishing any style I ask for! I highly recommend her and plus shes a super great person to be around. I wont be going anywhere else.

I literally love the service here! Any time you come ask for Caira, she’s literally one of the best stylist and barber that works at this location! I got a hair cut from her and she went above and beyond making me feel special. She listens to what people want and is so personable! My boyfriend and I always go to her and I even have my coworkers going to her. She is such a warm hearted person so it feels like wonderful experience with someone you know. I have been struggling to get a decent haircut at a chain location in Colorado for some years. There were years where I would just shave my head myself, saving the hassle of doing it after another terrible haircut.During my travels I found one of the best barbers in Boise Idaho. Chris Payne with Chriss House of Fades properly spoiled me and further increased my bias for a local haircut.NOT anymore!!! Eric V with Floyds Barbershop is a young up and coming barber with all the right skills to be one of the best, if he isnt already here in Arvada. I see him as the start-up you will wish you had seen for a phenomenal haircut from the start in his early days so you can call him Your Barber.The guy can talk shop or just chill and facilitate a solid conversation.Stop messing around and hit this kid up. Truly one of the greats!

Took my son in before dinnertime. Very frustrating to be told wait will be 10 minutes, we walked in at 5:40 pm and then I watched 2 stylists go out on break and 1 mill around to kill time until they left at 6pm. Manager was very nice but no one understands customer service and how it looks for us to sit there watching them do nothing so they dont have to stay 5 minutes past their time off. She gave us a free haircut but Im so soured at the experience we wont be back to this location or maybe even Floyds.

Used to come to Floyds because the numerous locations allowed me to get a good haircut wherever I might be running errands at. I now only come to the Floyds on Ward because this is the location Hannah works at. Hannah does a great job of giving you a quality hair cut while also getting you in and out as quickly as possible. In addition her customer service is top notch, she always remembers what kind of hair cut I get. Overall I feel like I am a valued customer which is very hard to come by these days.

Go to Nick! He’s a master stylist who can do any cut any style for anyone. I’ve always had good haircuts at any Floyds, so I assume that they must have a very good and consistent training program for their stylists. I can go to this one or used to go to the one on Leetsdale and get a good cut from pretty much any stylist and be in the clear. I feel like Im pretty particular, so as long as I can convey what I want intelligently, I feel like Im going to get a decent cut thats a little edgy while still being work appropriate. Before Floyds was around, I used to get major pre-approved haircut anxiety!! Thank God for Floyds!!

Walked in one day and accidentally landed into Caira’s chair and haven’t let anyone touch my hair ever since I’ve never delt with the corporate side of Floyd’s so my opinion there is invalid but their employees are absolutely top notch!

Ive had a beard for many years and tried a ton of barbers. I went to Floyds to get a haircut and trim on my beard, in which my last barber failed me miserably. I am so happy that Jackie was there. My beard was a disaster and she recommended a fade that made me look 10 years younger. Jackie is a perfectionist, so she took her time and with expert, persission molded my beard to my face. Most importantly my wife loved it. In fact, she wont let me touch my beard. Always wanting me to go to Jackie. Jackie is truly the beard master and I will never go to anyone else. Oh by the way my haircut was amazing as well. Thank you, Jackie and my wife thanks you too. BEARDMASTER!!!

Hannah was fast and friendly. Wait was way too long, and their appointment system is pointless. You can only set an appointment up to a week out, and most of their slots are full on the days and times you need. None to little cell reception/service in the building: so bring something to do for at least an hour. Over priced for service times, which have been progressively worse. I used to be a regular, but now I will not be returning.

Ive been coming here for months and never had a problem until today. I dont remember her name but she left so many scratches on my neck and it hurts so bad. Its like she rushed to get me out of there and Ive never had someone there rush so much.Since I dont remember her but she has blonde hair, heavy eyeliner and her hair was up. She was on the 3rd chair on the left when you walk in. Not happy with how my cut was today.

I make an appt. for 10:30am for any stylist. I show up at 10:00 asking to get in early if I can and the front counter tells me there are 2 in front if me itll probably still be 10:30. I say ok no prob, there are 2 guys sitting and waiting. I go next door for a taco and Im back in like 5 mins, one of the guys is up and the other is there. I sit and wait. 2 more guys come in and and check in. At 10:30 the girl tells me Im next. Theres Demi cleaning up and i thought i was next, but at 10:45 somehow the guy that just came in gets called up by her. So i ask the girl whats up and she tells me he had an appt with her at 10:30 and that the lady that i was next with wasnt even close to being done.... how did i get skipped if i had an appt for a cut at 10:30? Youre overbooking? I wont waste my time or cash coming back here since your reservation system is trash, I went to the barber right by my place and was in and out with no wait.

Simple - quality haircuts, conversation, service, and fair prices.

Was told 30 minutes, waited over an hour and finally asked the front counter person when it was my turn. She was annoyed and reluctantly PUT DOWN HER PHONE and realized she had removed my name. If she payed attention to customer service she would realize how long customers were waiting in the lobby. Poor management in my opinion
