9/16/21 - I thought this place was a trust worthy shop.But turns out it is no longer that kind of place.They made a mistake diagnosing my vehicle repairs...which is understandable.Everyone is human.But after bringing my vehicle back twice and speaking to the manager (Rueben) and regional manger (Rich)...and having them admit to not diagnosing my vehicle correctly and not handling the situation correctly... After I brought my vehicle back in for a second time when the situation wasnt fully repaired by the shop.They still will not accommodate the customer in any way and will say its the customers fault.***Please use precautions when using this location...they will say its your fault when they make a mistake or say the noise on your vehicle is caused by your hubcaps.YES...thats exactly what they told me was squeaking on my vehicle...my Hubcaps!***WOW...SMH

This shop is honest, helpful and caring! I would highly recommend using them. Ive taken my car in to get multiple things checked and they never try to get me to do work that doesnt actually need to be done. They tell me what is most important to do for the sake of safety and what work I can get done later. For example, Ive had them tell me my brake pads had plenty of life left and that I didnt need to change them. I trust them completely and am so glad I found this specific Brakes Plus.

My car was feeling like it was jumping when stopping. I thought it was possibly the brakes. Then I thought it was possibly the engine. Ruben checked it out and explained what he found and his suggestions for the future. He was very helpful and professional. You usually cant find this type of service. I brought my Honda CR-V in to get a wheel stud replaced after having it broken off to fix a flat tire at a different shop. They did it FOR FREE! I will definitely be back for anything else my car needs! Excellent customer service. They got my car in right away (I had an appointment, but I feel like sometimes my car is still sitting for a while before it gets brought in at other places) and it was a pretty quick process.

Great salesmen! - I went in there for what I thought would be $ 200 ffront end brake job, & they talked me into replacing my rotors so I could get the lifetime warranty on their premium brake pads! - Was it worth the extra $200? - Probably - Only time will tell..Brakes feel great so far!

Very professional and timely! I went in for a maintenance light that it turned out was never reset from a previous service. Despite them spending 30 minutes with my car and running diagnostics, since there was no work to be done- no charge. Great example of customer service from a very friendly team!Will return again for braking needs!

I got a diagnosis from a different shop that said I needed to fix a part on my car. I brought my car in to this brakes plus to fix that part and turns out my car didn’t have an issue and they told me to save my money and didn’t do the work to my car. I really appreciate there honesty and will always recommend this shop to anyone. My car was having many technical difficulties and I’m glad I came here for help! Mark was very helpful and answered any questions that I had. He quickly found and fixed the issues my car was having, and it’s been running smoothly ever since.

They are amazing. I took it to the nearby Midas, they had it a week and did NOT fix the problem. Brakes Plus fixed it overnight, I picked it up before 10AM, and only cost $50. Highly Recommend.

I came in to have my daughters brakes done. While waiting Ruben the general manager offered to help a woman who got hosed by another mechanic. He and his crew are fantastic and now have another customer for life.

My husband brought our truck here and the service was fantastic. They had the work done in less than 5 hours. Very professional and offered detailed information on all services and repairs they intended on performing and what future repairs they recommend. When the truck was driven home you could feel the improvement very high quality work was done. We will definitely be using them exclusively for all of our mechanic needs. Highly recommend.

Rubin and his crew are amazing they helped us, and went above and beyond. My husband took our vehicle in to get a tuneup and oil change. And they told us it would take about 4 hours. That is our only vehicle they gave my husband a ride home and picked him up to get the vehicle. They are awesome and have found a new customer. Or vehicle is so much better and rides great. Recommend them there great quality and service need to go here.

Great customer service and clean lobby. showed up late on a Friday and need my breaks replaced. just so I could make it home. they fit me in and got it done same day. I highly recommend this store.

Friendly service but it costs more than I thought it was going to be. 307$ for front breaks and rotors. Seems a bit expensive. That was with a 20$ off coupon.

Ruben and Mark took care of me well. They got me in and out quick and the service was amazing for the value.

My second visit was MUCH more pleasant. The staff is very polite, they talk you through everything and dont try to upsell you. I had 4 brake pads and 2 rotors replaced as well as brake fluid flush done in less than an hour and a 1/2 while they serviced at least 5 other people. This shop manages their time very efficiently and i sincerely appreciate it.

I made an appointment for an inspection and let them know I just needed brake pads. When I arrived I was told it would be a 3 hr wait. I just left. You would think with an appointment they would be ready for your car at the spot time. So don’t believe the time they say they will have your car done in

Ruben the manager greeted me and from start to finish he was extremely knowledgeable about the service that I was needing and put me at ease that he would put his loving hands on my vehicle, Alex was the technician that handled my issues and he didnt miss a beat and it was crazy that my truck was ready when promised and didnt even look like it was in a shop (most of the time there was greasy hand prints all over it from other shops )it drove beautiful A BIG THANK YOU!!!!!!!!. I went to three different shops for new brakes, rotors & disks. One shop quoted me $1.2k, another $1.4k! Brakes Plus gave me a quote of $700 and the guys are so nice! They were very transparent about what I needed and did not need. I do not feel like I was upsold on anything and they saved me a ton! I will never go anywhere else for my brake needs!! I only bring my Lexus to the very best mechanics in Denver. I was hesitant to bring it to this location but the staff here was super helpful, professional and honest. My ex and myself have been going here for years. Always friendly ie.... Went in for an oil change, brake inspection and warranty service. They called me and said all they had to do was oil change!!! Theyve always that way. We never go anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I took my car here because I had somewhat of a concern. After looking at my car, they told me that pretty much everything needed to be replaced. It was going to be $1200. After telling them that I was only prepared to spend $500, they came back and told me what actually “needed” to be fixed and that they could charge me exactly $500.They were clearly trying to rip me off and I ended up taking it somewhere else. It turns out that I just needed new front brake pads… $150.

Yesterday I made an appointment for 9 AM. Specified I only wanted to have the front brake pads replaced 2008 Kia Rio. Car was on the lift by 9:10 this morning. TWO HOURS LATER the HUGE job of replacing the front pads was done. They were friendly and all that but really... Its a 30 minute job at most.

Came in to repair a few axle studs that had been cracked due to overly tightened lug nuts. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was very fast and affordable. I dont often leave reviews, but their service warranted a mention.

What a scam!! Went in for an alignment, got told it needed $1300 in repair for the control arms, which our regular shop had just worked on! Now that I am reading reviews, I discover that this shop is a scam!! Over and over again they are charging for unneeded work while not doing what actually needs to be done. Never again Brakes Plus!! Never again!

Great group of people here. They took care of my brakes a while back and I ran into an issue about 5 or so days ago that turned out to not have anything to do with the brakes at all. I brought it to Brakes Plus and asked them to take a look at it, and not only did they take a look, they fixed the small problem without charging me at all. Decent customer service but they never have availabilities in their schedule and dont take walk ins. Last time I got my oil changed here my car was OUT of oil in less than a week. I have no idea how this happened.

Wow! Terrible ! Please keep your eye out forthe front desk person who says he will discount you service for a timing belt from $1295 to $1000 making you think hes a nice guy whos helping you and then tells you there is a problem with an alternator saying there was a loud squeal under the hood and guessed it was a alternator. You take it home and the same exact sqeal! You call the next day and he says i cant help you we already fixed what we thought would leave you stranded..women and senior citizens watch out for this ripoff place. Im out 300$.

I have been going to this particular Brakes Plus for a couple of years now. They have always treated me with professionalism, respect and courtesy. Just today, 6/24/2020, I had my oil and filter changed and they preformed a courtesy air tire check and refilled my windshield washer fluid.The employees try hard to remember specific details about my car and they always address me by name. I have had them do everything from a complete car fluid change to repair work after I hit a deer on the highway. My car runs fantastic at 200,000 miles.But what really endeared me to these guys, was my sister took her car to this shop needing a bunch of front end work done on a used car she bought. After doing a evaluation on her car, there was more work that needed to be done at that time than she could afford (brakes, roters, bearings, etc) to make the car drive safely.Since the mechanic did not feel right about my sister driving the car as it was with fixing what she could afford, they did all the work to make it road safe, but only charged her the parts she could afford and that was it.This kind of service is really rare, especially since I had a mechanic friend look over my receipts and he confirmed there is no price gouging or extra charges and all the parts are priced the way they should be.I would strongly recommend this shop off of 54th and Wadsworth to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic.Five stars and two thumbs way way up!!!

We thought our car needed new brake pads and took it in to these guys. A couple hours later we got a call that our pads were still good and didn’t need new ones. Went in to pick up the car thinking we’d owe them a fee for diagnosis but we didn’t! Such professionalism and courtesy was shown that we’ll definitely be back when we do need them done!

Honest auto shop, Todd was very helpful for me and my truck. They did everything I asked for and more while saving me money. Spent nearly half of what I was expected to spend, I’m content and will be returning for my car care.

I brought my old 2007 Honda Civic in on 1-15-2020 because I heard a scraping sound near the left front tire and figured I needed new front brake pads. I was correct! My Honda needed new front brake pads and all. Todd was wonderful in helping me find what my car needed within what I could afford. My car was quickly repaired and the brakes are great now. I dont know how to show my appreciation to Todd and all the crew at this Brakes Plus. They are professional and courteous. He had been out of town when the accident occurred, and had he been there I do believe this situation would have been handled differently from the start. Now feeling confident that Brakes Plus does indeed value customer service, I would return there again in the future.*Original ReviewWell, they did fix my brakes. However, during the test drive they wrecked my previously, never had been in an accident car, doing $2,600 worth of damage to the front bumper. They were very honest and upfront about the situation which I did appreciate, and of course they paid for the repair and rental. However, not once did they offer a discount on the brakes, which I find absolutely ridiculous given the hassle of missing a half day of work twice in the course of the week, to pick up the rental and to pick up my car. If this were my business rest assured those brakes would be free- but nope, full priced and a full day of work missed for me. Not only did they not offer the brakes service for free or at a discount- they had the audacity to try to convince the guy they sent us to for the repairs to use the certified fit parts rather than the original manufacturer’s parts because it was cheaper. Thankfully, the only good thing out of this situation was that we found the amazing team at Caliber Collision off 48th in Wheat Ridge, and the manager there said absolutely no way to doing the repairs with anything other than the manufacturer’s parts- especially given that my car had never been wrecked before! Brakes plus can fix your brakes, but don’t expect the customer service you deserve.

They tried to charge me $160 for a camber kit (not including labor) and I found one on rockauto for $6.

Great overall experience. They were very helpful and nice. I had to have my rear rotors treated and pads replaced due to a clicking noise. I returned due to the brake noise still persisting, and they treated my front right rotor free of charge which turned out to be the cause. Highly recommend these guys!

Ive been with Brakes Plus since 2011. I started at the Glendale location and was always impressed by their professionalism and friendliness. Brakes Plus often has online coupon codes that help with the pricing but even without them, I have found the pricing to be very fair. I was happy to see a couple of the guys from Glendale up in Arvada and they recognized me and gave me a good deal on a window mechanism repair. When a part they installed gave me issues in the past, they were really good about fixing it up at no charge and helping me out in a timely manner.

I felt that my experience with this location regarding the mechanics (Ruben) he was very helpful and didnt feel like he was taking advantage of my mother. I felt he was honest about the repairs her Cadillac needed. Its not often these types of places are honest.... way to go!!!👍👍👍
