I have never been more disappointed with a moving company and I have used quite a few. Firstly, the group was supposed to show up at 8am and didn’t arrive until 9:45am. Almost 2 hours late. They took their time trying to figure out what to do and packing up items, even though they knew we were on a deadline and were already running late. They wrapped and packed up our refrigerator before realizing it wouldn’t fit through the door. They then took our front door off the hinges, and realized it still wouldn’t fit. They then unpacked the fridge and took off the doors and had to repack everything.They ended up not leaving the house until 2:30. It took 45 minutes to get to the new the house and they ended up getting into a fight between themselves and then did not work together much after that.Whatever tape and clothe they used to pack up our items peeled the wood and paint on multiple of our furniture items. They hit and left marks on multiple walls. They were careless in leaving large wood pieces leaning on walls and letting things fall and mark up walls and the floor.They also took apart all our sofas to bring them over and did not put anything back together once we got to the house. Everything was left in the room for us to finish.We had family at the house and they would hand them chairs and items from the truck and expected us to help them move things.. So what was the point of hiring them?The carpet in the house was white/light grey, and men did not wear shoe covers or take off their shoes and left mud stains in MULTIPLE ROOMS. This is a brand new house that was just built. I politely asked that they wipe their shoes before stepping on the carpet or removing their shoes since they didn’t have covers. The response I received was, “you expect us to take off our shoes every time we go in the room?” I said “it would be considerate if you would wipe your shoes considering the carpet is white and there are already stains.” The gentleman turned around and walked away. After that they left everything in the hallway and when I asked them to please put them in the room, the response was, “so now you want us to walk on the carpet?” We ended up putting sheets on the ground to prevent further staining.I believe that entire encounter was completely unprofessional, rude and was more than enough.One gentleman dragged a mattress on the sidewalk before bringing it into the house.Two of our tables had a glass center and they left all that unpacked at the old house, and we had to go back and get it.They also told us one of the beds didn’t have all the screws and it had already been missing and not to “blame them.” When we went back to the old house, we found the missing screws on the ground.They dented our refrigerator and it wouldn’t work and we later found out when they had unpacked the fridge and cut off the packing tape, they cut one of the wires in the back. We had to buy a new wire to get our refrigerator fixed.They did not even finish unpacking and left all the bed and things for us to put together ourselves.We were busy putting the rest of the furniture together and had a friend pay them and they charged us for 8.5 hours. They stayed until 5pm. So in actuality, they stayed for only 7.25 hours and that’s including a 45 minute drive to the new house.We have to pay to fix our refrigerator, clean the carpet, and all the nicks on the walls ourselves. And we also had to spend a few hours putting together the rest of our furniture.I have never been more frustrated with any company we’ve hired. We paid $1000 and they actually expected us to pay $1250.I have used companies for half the price and have had drastically better quality and service. I will never be using this company again and will tell everyone I know NOT to use them.

I hate moving, but Big Bear Movers made it an easy experience. I did 99% of packing on my own; however, they will help you pack if you need it. The unpacking was super quick too and at no point did it look like they were rough with my boxes. I highly recommend Big Bear Movers. They are on-time, honest, efficient and don`t pull any hidden tricks.

We moved in July and Big Bear was awesome - I strongly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.They worked through the heat without complaint. We had a lot of books, delicate furniture and big pieces - they handled it all. It was a 3 day move, from/to a two story house and they got after it. I think the heat index was pushing 115.Courteous, respectful of us and our furniture and friendly. USE THESE GUYS!!

I booked this company when I moved my stuff from my old apartment to my storage unit and now again from my storage to my new place. They are reliable and also very careful with your furniture. None of my furniture was damaged. Their price is very reasonable and they deserved every cent.

Thank you so much guys for helping us move. The experience was great. I had a one bedroom-boxes, bed, couch, and fans. Two guys moved us in 1hr and 34 minutes, including the drive. I recommend everyone to use this company. They were very polite and introduce themselves. They only charged us $210. Again thanks guys, keep up the good work.

The I have used Big Bear Movers a few times because I have always had a great experience with them. They arrive on time, they are careful with my stuff, and they do it in a timely manner. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I would not recommend this company to anyone Big Bear Movers charge me $105 an hour to move me. After moving me and paying them the final price for the move and giving them a 15% tip Big Bear movers charge my credit card 17 extra dollars without my knowledge.After talking with Broderick I was told that it was a processing fee which was never mentioned to me while discussing the price for the move. If you use this company pay them with cash and not your credit card because they might just hit you with a hidden fee that they didnt discuss with you in the beginning. And they crack the glass globe to my lamp placed it in my car without telling me.😑

Most people would think since the low rate you get what you pay for would be negative, its not in this case. They were super friendly and accommodating. Anything I requested done they would complete.

Excellent moving company I just used these guys to help me move furniture prior to my hardwood floors getting refinished. They were punctual, professional and highly competent.

We used them about 4 months ago and didn’t have any problems. Not a perfect move but nothing was broken or damaged. I called last week to schedule a move and was told he would call me back within the hour because he was busy. Ok, no problem. Called him back that night after not getting a response and left a message asking him to please call me back. Called again the next morning and again left a message. 4 days later and still no response.. guess it’s a good thing we scheduled with a different company that actually answered there phone.

I called 24hrs before the day I need their service to make a reservation and the guy that took my call never make the reservation for me. When I called the day they I need to move out he just told me that he cant do the job, because he was 100% booked. So now I dont have a mover to make my work done. PLEASE DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY... They just want to get big jobs and forget they compromise...

They came on such short notice and helped me after dark!! They were very nice and I definitely recommend!

I scheduled a move with this company and a few days prior I noticed there was rain in the forecast so I called them to make sure they would still be able to move me. They stated that if there is rain then they would just wait for the rain to stop then continue to move me THAT DAY. The guy reassured me they would move me that day despite the weather, so instead of finding another company I kept my appointment with them. The day of the move it was raining in the morning, but they werent scheduled to come until 3pm. I didnt receive any calls that day, so I decided to call them at 2pm to confirm theyre ETA. The guy answered, and stated they wouldnt be able to move me. As you can imagine I was livid, because no one even reached out to me! I HAD TO CALL THEM! The guy lied and said that he didnt tell me they would move me because he claimed they didnt work in the rain. Which isnt true, because when we first got on the phone he said he was wet from a previous move. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy.

After VIP moving company failed to show up for my scheduled appointment I was stuck. It was a Sunday and I was calling all over DFW to try and find another service, as I had to be out of my apartment that night. I finally found Big Bear movers and they were able to fit me in at the last minute. They were professional and even called me ahead to tell me they were on their way. I was able to get my things moved and into my storage without any issues. Brodrick and George were both amazing and made the experience less stressful. I will definitely be using Big Bear movers going forward.Thank you guys again.

I had wonder service when I was helped to move last year. This is the second time I have used Big Bear Movers and they always go beyond what I would expect movers to do.

I would not recommend this service, they were extremely slow & took a whole couch apart that did not need it, it was detachable, a waste of time if you are looking for fast service,

Im moving from abram st to trinity blvd on on the same highway i called this guys BIG BEAR and they are asking $210 for a minimum of 2 hours for just a sofa and a set of washer and dryer ....WATCH OUT..... guys.

Over the phone we talked 105 for my move cause i really only had totes and no furniture but when he arrived and started putting my stuff on the truck gave me a 262 price I feel that I shouldnt have to pay that much because I didnt have any furniture big pieces to move but thanks for the poorly recommendation
