I took in a watch to be repaired and while talking with Chris I asked if he could do anything With some heirloom rings that I had. I left the rings with Chris and after a day he came back to me with a design. After a couple of minor adjustments to the design, Chris gave me an estimate and in a week it was ready. My engagement ring and two heirloom rings have been crafted into one beautiful ring which holds so much sentiment for me. I love it and am so happy that I can now wear my grandparents jewelry. This is a great place. Chris was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. My wife and I visited his shop, in part because of the good reviews and because he is local business. We needed to have a very nice pocket watch engraved to be given as an anniversary gift. Given the type of watch and the importance of the engraving, I couldnt trust it to anyone - I wanted a jeweler and preferably someone who understood nice watches in case we needed to do some disassembly. Within minutes, I was comfortable with Chris and knew he would do a great job. You get the sense that no job is too small, too large - you wont find any arrogance in this shop. He had many engraving options and suggestions. In fact, my wife and I came with what I thought would be too long of a message to be engraved, but he assured us he could do it and it would look beautiful. We agreed to leave the watch with him and return another day, but he offered to work on the watch right way to say us the extra travel (we live on the other side of town). Anyway, the watch came out perfect and better than we had hoped. I had no expectation of getting this large of a message on the watch and certainly not in the short amount of time that it took. It looks wonderful and I have attached a picture to the review. I blurred some of it out but you can see the workmanship and quality. Thank you Chris for handling our project with such care and professionalism.

Incredibly professional and timely. I urgently needed a ring engraved and this was the only place I could find that would do it within 24 hours to pick up on Christmas Eve. I made the mistake of engraving prior to resizing and yet he was incredibly understanding and helpful. I turned it into a New Years present and he was able to both resize and engrave the ring within the hour, at a price two or three times lower than you’ll find elsewhere. Amazing customer service and fine workmanship all around!

Chris did the most amazing job repairing my 10 yr old wedding ring. Not only does it look beautiful but he was able to do all the work same day and I had my ring back just in time for Christmas. Searching Google for a place to repair my Movado watch that doesn’t work and was in my drawer for over 2yrs. After I read most of the good reviews from customer reviews. I took the watch to the store to have Chris diagnosed the problem and gave estimate of the repair. Chris was very professional, friendly, helpful and quick from diagnosing to repairing I dropped off my watch the day before and it was completed with the new board replaced and ready the next day! Walked in with a necklace clasp to be replaced, was given options in which to stay with my budget (neither option was expensive but there were options based on strength/style of clasp) and the regular use of the item. My boyfriend literally doesnt take his necklace off so we went with the stronger clasp. I was given a 20 min turn around time but he was easily done in 10. He even went the extra mile and policed the necklace and the chain for us. Great service, very professional, and quick and easy. Id absolutely go here again. No question!

I first found Fine Repairs about 6 months ago when looking for a place to replace a battery in one of my girlfriend’s watches and I used them recently to repair a necklace that my grandfather gave me 30+ years ago when I was a teenager. As previous reviews mentioned, the owners were very kind and genuine people and both of my experiences with them proved this to be true. Honest people doing honest work.

I actually came in here because I saw that they have repaired knives in the past. I wanted to customize my Benchmade Bugout knife and so I brought it in. Chris (the manager) did an expert job of customizing the knife with the new carbon fiber scales and titanium pocket clip. It was instantly extremely clear that Chris takes great pride in his work. Visited here to get a few rings resized today based on the good reviews and they are certainly correct! Chris is very knowledgeable and extremely fast! He got the resizing, soldering and fixed the prongs on one of my wifes older rings in under a couple of hours. Craftsmanship looks very solid on the work and prices are very reasonable as well. Much better than going into one of the big box stores around here!

One of the most genuine businesses Ive ever encountered! I had a bracelet that needed repairs and the manager, Chris, took the time to explain to me the specifics of the repairs and answered any questions I had. They gave me a 6 month warranty if my bracelet breaks in the same place after they repair it. My bracelet broke again a week later, and they still repaired it free of charge even though it was broken in a different place. Super friendly people and fantastic work as well!
