I worked for them for 1 month in January of 2019. I took every job and even worked 60+ hrs/week. I was never paid. Not 1 dollar. I called only to be put on hold for over an hour. During the hour I had someone else call & they were routed to Michelle almost immediately, meanwhile, I was still on hold. I sent demand letters that were returned. They are the WORST!! 0 stars.

I was a 1099 self employed medical courier for this company and worked full time for 6 months. Gradually, my paychecks went from a few days late to weeks and eventually they stopped paying me. I was never paid for 3 months work. They still owe me and I hope the owners rot in hell. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Tex Express they are criminals!

The name of Texmaster Express has been talked down upon so much that when they hire/interview people they say the work with Texmaster Express and “operate” under the name of Mediquick delivers but they’re really Texmaster . They pay less than minimum wage worked three full days and only got paid $140 and some change . They promise you over $700 dollars a week after 3 weeks and it’s just BS hit $700 one week and that was putting 1,400 miles in a week ! Contractors BEWARE !!!

I worked for this company for 10 years in a management role in Central Texas. Over the past couple of years the company consistently could not pay its drivers in a timely fashion or in accordance with the contracts they have drivers sign. The reviews posted regarding this are accurate. When I finally began speaking out in objection to this being illegal and fraud and after area police departments began investigating them for fraud I was laid off and cheated out of almost $10,000 worth of vacation and benefits they owed me through a loop hole in my contract and lack of providing proper documentation. Stay away from these criminals at all costs!

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. I worked for them for 6 days and wanted to know approximately what I had made at that point to see if it was profitable for me. I was told during training you could look on portal every Wednesday to see how you were doing. That was incorrect. I was also told you could get your worked wages in advance and that still has not happened. The COMMUNICATION IS NONE. I made multiple calls to Michelle and you never get a call back but yet she’s always on a call when you call in. After not getting any response from Michelle I emailed the VP Marion and explained what had been going on and ask that she reach out to me. Well NOTHING. I tried calling again today and Tammy has the nerve to hang up on me twice as well as tell me call back when Michelle is available. How RUDE. When they wanted work done they had a totally different ATTITUDE. Being that we are Independent Contractors we put out money ahead and we deserve ours. I GUARANTEE you none of the regular employees go without their checks. I finally got a call back from Michelle after I text the Austin sales representative and he forwarded it to her. I was told my check was mainly last week and it’s still not here. Shame on me I wish I would have looked at the reviews before wasting my time and money. And for those of you who say you make good money as a Contractor for this company must not be telling the truth. When you divide out the wages You make below minimum wage. TMEC should be ASHAMED of the way they treat Contractors. I just want the little money I made. When you read all the reviews it’s strange that the majority of us have the same issues. HUM?? The couple of good reviews must be people they know writing them. I emailed Steve the President today let’s see where that goes. I would hope my money gets to me and if not I will take legal action against this company

I notice a lot of these people appear to have never read the contract they signed, and had no clue they are independent contractors and they signed contracts . If you do what you are supposed to, be available to work when you say you will be available to work you will make money, if you dont and are always turning down orders and take your dear sweet time delivering orders you will not.

Do NOT waste your time working for this company!!! I have now been waiting over a month for a $161 check. I’ve been getting the run around.As a business professional, I find this company extremely unprofessional and careless of that fact that people have bills. As a medical courier you do your part by doing the deliveries and then have to fight for a check in which you’ve earned. The fact that they only have one person in charge of payroll who ALWAYS has an issue with the computer or is NEVER at her desk is another issue within itself..This is not the job to do on the side for extra income because you’ll be waiting for the extra income which defeats the purpose of a side hustle. You’d be better off driving for Uber or Lyft because at least you will get your money on time. BUT rest assured they are not concerned about you being paid because as long as they are paid on time you.. the person who actually did the job don’t matter!Minding you I signed up for direct deposit (“system issues”) and was still mailed a check which I’m STILL waiting for. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Do NOT work for these people unless you don’t have bills or children to provide for and can wait weeks for such a small check.

SLOW. Thats the word that best describes this courier service. I called for a STAT delivery at 7:30am this morning and was given an estimate of 90 minutes for pickup and delivery. It took them more than 140 minutes to arrive - more than TWO HOURS after I requested the service. I work for a clinic and we are going to need faster service than that.

Id give this company no stars if I could. They will lie straight to you over and over again about getting paid what you are owed. The pay is minimal at best. The employees have left me on hold for an hour and 10 minutes trying to get my paycheck, and I had no choice but to just sit on hold otherwise I wouldnt have been paid. They will say they have 30 days to pay you if you call early, then youll have to call and hound them on the 31st day. The lack of professionalism in this company is astounding. Do not work for them if you like to get paid for the work you do.

By far the worst company EVER!First of all Micheal the recruiter is very unprofessional and has a serious attitude problemHe tells you you get paid by job but then they tell you you get paid by the dayI worked there for two weeks my first check with $77 and wish they said they do not do not provide direct deposit but when I notify them that I wasn’t able to work until I receive some kind of reimbursement for my Time Immediately Michelle from accounting contact me to allow me to know that they can and they do provide direct deposit!!And this is after being told that they do not !!!!!I have driven hundreds of miles within the last two weeks for this company and I would not suggest any courier who is looking to make money worked with them in the interview Mike does not tell you how much you get paid but he tells you a percentage of what you get paid which is 50% but 50% of what and how much is not what he’s exactly telling you I would not wish this job on my worst enemy and I hope the Better Business Bureau closest this job down sooner or later

All these people complaining have invalid points, You are not paid per mile but per Job, so their is no per mile charge. Also service can be affected by traffic and there is nothing that can be done about traffic, in my experience this company bends over backwards to do everything they can to provide timely service, and as an contractor driver the amount of money you make is up to you and what you put in to it.

Im not sure about the other bad reviews out there but Ive had nothing but good experience with them. This is an independent contractor job, you are essentially starting your own business so I wonder if thats why people arent happy. Will you spend money on gas and vehicle maintenance? Yes, but again its a driving job and its all a tax write off for you at the end of the year. After fuel expenses etc. I am earning take home about $700 a week and if you log your miles properly you wont have to pay in on your taxes at the end of the year. So essentially I earn over $36k annually TAKE HOME, and I get to work my hours from my car... I have recommended several friends to come work here, Ive worked here for almost 3 years now.

Whoever said they make money from this company is a flat out liar! Whoever says this company bends over backwards for their employees is probably lying as well. I can tell you as a contract employee, I got nothing but a screw job.I emailed many, many times only to be ignored. Everytime I call Michelle in accounting is on the phone, away from her desk, out to lunch, etc...I spent $300 in gas in a month driving to San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander and Marble Falls to receive $450 in 6 weeks.I was told we would make $500-$600 week. As a contract employee (1099) the usual practice is to be paid once a month.Michelle told me, Austin drivers are paid 2x month. Whatever! I have a title loan that Im about to default on because they refuse to pay me.I know they have contracts with Baylor Scott & White and I have contacted the CEO to deplor him, in the name of ETHICS to cancel their contracts with TEMC.Why should Texmaster get paid for a service that I provided?The ONE TIME that I spoke with Michelle she was so sympathetic, which was obviously to give me a false sense of security. The CEO, an English woman, was insulted because I spoke harshly to her when I demanded to be paid.I really dont understand how some people can take advantage of other people who are trying to make a living. We have obligations, bills and rent to pay.I also take care of my 83 yo mother who worries herself about how we are going to survive.If I dont get my pay, not nickels and dimes....God will judge these people as to why they are liars, thieves and unjust. They appear to be followers of Satan with their evil practices and deceitful ways.THIS ISNT OVER!

Work for ANYBODY ELSE besides this company. You get paid late, if ever at all. They owe me nearly $800. I have been fighting to get paid for nearly 5 months. Nothing but lies, stalls and b.s. They would get zero stars, if it was an option.

Youll have to wait a month or 2 after working for pay. My experience with this company says something aint right. Pay so low you better off driving Uber or Lyft. I can make $500 to $1000 driving Uber and/or Lyft. I could barley make $100 a week withTMEC. Avoid this company at all cost Ive lost money so far.

After working there my first day, I can honestly tell you that this a business where you will lose money. You will spend all your money on gas and put a lot of mileage on your car and by time you get your check it won’t be much because of how much you spent on gas. Also you receive 50 percent of everything delivered however they don’t tell you how much the value of your delivery is so you don’t know how much money you made for the day which is shady because they can be reducing your paycheck without you even realizing it.For example you can drive somewhere that cost you ten dollars worth of gas and the delivery is 16 dollars, therefore you make 8 dollars but spent 10 in gas. Avoid working here at all cost.

I dont want to give this company any stars because every bad thing youve read or heard is true. I made the mistake of not researching the company and that my friend is the absolute worst mistake Ive made. I needed a little extra income because my only child was going to college. At the interview the Vice President himself told me I would be paid on the 24th of August and weekly afterwards. So after the first week of my driving until 10 or 11pm through the week or all day on Sat. And I mean all day on Saturday and spent over 180 in gas, putting ALOT of miles on my vehicle going further in the hole they wish to not pay me as stated. They told me I would be paid yesterday and again nothing. wait until Saturday again nothing. So now its not only rent time but also a holiday weekend so now I have to wait to even call someone. While out on a deliver one day the customer or dispatch gave all the incorrect information and has me at a place for more than an hour. So they apologize and said the customer was going to pay an extra fee for the confusion. I looked at the print out showing the trips and the amount paid it wasnt on there. They asked who approved that. Really. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.

Never work for such a place they pay nickels and dimes and never do they pay on time trust me. Not a good place to run your vehicle to the ground.

I worked for these evil shitbags back in 2012. I was a desperate kid. 2 months, 6,000 miles driven, went into debt keeping my car going, and they never paid me. I wound up homeless because of them.

They do a great job for their clients, and all these people who are complaining were contractors not employees that obviously did not read the contracts they signed and did not pay attention to their training.

Do not use this company or work there. They are not a legit company they tried to pay me a month later by Western Union. And on top of that right now I’m fighting for pay over a month later. They claimed I was 10-99 but gave me no papers to fill out for it. Run!

Worst job I ever had, I would drive 400 to 500 miles a week for them, and not even make 50 cents a mile. You should consider filing bankruptcy if you work for them.

Take the negative reviews seriously bc it is the truth. They do not pay you for your work. Its been over 20 days and I still havent gotten paid. They give you the run-around. I agree with another review, I hope that one day they are shut down so that they cant take advantage of people trying to make an honest living.

I worked there for 2 weeks, drove from 800 to a 1000miles a week and worked 12 hour shifts! Income is less than the minimum wage plus all the checks have bounced! Where I come from they are no better than thieves!

Pay me what you owe me. You are in breach of contract.

Worst place to work for what organized place bad place and using are own vehicle not paying for miles or gas just for trips we would do

Cant make a living in this little amount.
