I was excited to get a professional wash and vac here as there appears to be no places around here that actually have good automatic wash and self vac. I had just returned from a road trip with my dog so I took off the seat protectors and removed literally everything from the car in order to make it as easy for the crew as possible. I tried not to laugh once I got a good look at my car once I left the garage. I cannot believe I spent about $100 (tip included) for a very disappointing job on both the hand wash and vacuuming. There was still dog hair everywhere. On top of that, there was still a lot of visible dirt/grime on the outside of the vehicle. Definitely will NOT be returning. I could have done a better job vacuuming and hand washing it myself, but unfortunately I just don’t have the resources living in an apartment in the city. It’s great that I still have to vacuum the vehicle myself after all that money and take it through another wash.Update: Melvin called me almost immediately after I posted my review and offered to have me bring my car back for them to re-wash/vac free of charge. I ended up declining to bring it back as I honestly just dont have the time and would prefer do it myself at this point. I have to say though, excellent customer service! I was offered a full refund since I was not going to bring it back and Melvin apologized for the job not meeting my expectations.

I visited Capitol Shine based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Rob, the CEO, gave me excellent guidance and described various services since I am inexperienced when it comes this type of labor. He never seemed rushed and took his time pointing out the different offerings. He fit me in last minute even though their schedule was busy and also returned phone calls on his day off to answer questions. Melvin, the general manager, was also very helpful and fast on returning calls. This is a top notch operation. I had the Ceramic Pro Gold package applied and did a total interior cleaning as well. I’ll be coming back here monthly for washes. These guys know their stuff and they are focused on making sure the customer is happy and well educated about their purchasing options. You won’t find better.

Recently got a ceramic coat put on by Capital Shine and I am blown away by the results. Paint looks better than new and cleaning bird droppings/road gunk off the car is a breeze. Also big shout out to Melvin who went above and beyond with his service as well and made me feel really comfortable about making this big change to my paint. Over all I highly recommend capital shine for all their services.

We had a full front PPF installation done on our car and it looks great! Good experience from the drop-off to pickup. The team was accurate about how long it would take and communicated frequently. Melvin in particular took great care in making sure we were totally satisfied. Overall excellent experience.

I chose this place for the many positive and high reviews and they definitely delivered on quality! I took my mustang in for an exterior detail/wax sealant with some tinting and they did an amazing job. There was a tiny mishap where a small spot was missed on the exterior, and they did a full on Avengers assemble in the next day to rectify the problem. The homie Kamal paid extra attention and made sure the car was retaken care of and you can tell these people are car enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

I brought in my Scion FR-S for a full detail and engine wash. Wow, what a difference! My car looks brand new! I definitely recommend these guys.

If I could I would rate them at ZERO stars, but you have to select a star to leave a comment. I dropped my car off at Capitol Shine in Arlington at 0730 and picked it up at 1530. This Is the their Full Detail package at $275. I was fortunate that they tried to work with me and redo the car, but as I explained to the manager. They had the car all day and no one thought to do inspect the car after it was deemed cleaned. The front office worked with me and refunded my money to my credit card. I know I will never go to this establishment again, if you choose to become a customer I recommend you drive the car outdoors (outside of their garage) and do another inspection before driving away. I will add, the manager at the Arlington location and the front office lady were nice and professional. If they had a review for customer service I would give them 5 stars.

My truck has never been washed by anyone except...well me. But I’m out of the country and won’t be able to get the winter crud off for some time so I wanted someone who would take care my truck as well as I do. After days of searching online, I finally found these guys and asked my wife to take it in. I don’t think I could have done a better job than they did. Thanks for taking care of my baby! I was able to schedule an appointment the day I called them and went in for an auto detail. Great business, real professional work. I was skeptical at first because its in a parking garage and I was afraid I had to pay for parking, but theyll give you an alternate exit where you dont have to pay.The crew was great and they do wonderful work. These guys are the real deal.Melvin provided great service and excellent communication throughout the entire process. Little tricky to locate in the parking garage, but once checked in the process was a breeze. No waiting room, just the lobby of the office building and surrounding shops/cafes. Took them a couple hours to tint front two windows and came out looking clean. Only had the window tinting done, but would trust them again for further services.

From start to finish, it has been an amazing experience dealing with Capitol Shine. We received a quote for Ceramic Pro protection for the paint on our 2020 4Runner. Toyotas are notorious for terrible paint so we wanted to protect our investment. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the end result is just plain outstanding. We have received many compliments on how great the paint looks and you will see from the photo, it looks like a mirror. Amazing service from Kimberly scheduling our appointment and our technician was Joseph. He kept up informed for the entire time they had the car and his after care follow-up was fantastic.

When I decided to get my Porsche wrapped, I had many options outside of the DMV. since I had Rob and his staff to do Ceramic Pro on my car last year. I decided to put faith in him and his staff to wrap my car in Miami Blue and Hi Gloss Black Carbon Fiber. Im blown away with the results as you can see in the picture. Thank you Rob and your staff. Was definitely skeptical at first seeing how this place is in a garage but dont let that stop you from coming here-Would highly recommend this place for its customer service and great work!I brought my car in for only window tints a week ago and started to notice a few things with the tints during the following days. Melvin (GM) was very responsive and fit me into their schedule immediately to review those concerns. As I type this, the team is working on replacing those tints and could not be happier with the dedication and service!

Price was great, but whatever treatment or product was used to clean my car damaged the frit band of my car - it now has water marks. The estimated time to clean also went over by a half hour, and the inside wasnt fully cleaned (nor dry). Rushed job - unfortunately.

I found Capitol Shine after looking through reviews of companies via Google and Yelp. I liked how their website broke down the different service packages. They also appeared to have favorable reviews and pictures where you could see the before and after images. When I called to inquire further, their receptionist/dispatcher was very knowledgeable about the services and process. She answered all of my questions and was very responsive in following up with the e-mail confirmation for my appointment. She also checked the schedule for the holiday to make sure that I could get the location and time slot I needed. The day of the appointment (today), the same receptionist was also very helpful in directing me to the service station and in following up to tell me when my car was ready after cleaning.My car was cleaned this morning by Dominic and Kumol, who did a FANTASTIC job!!! Before dropping the car off, it had just accumulated grime to the point where I didnt really want to take people in my car and it was weighing me down. I had already tried cleaning it with my regular household tools, but really wanted a professional level of cleaning since they have all the proper equipment and expertise. I decided I wanted the interior shampoo package for my mid-size sedan. I was SO EXCITED to received my car after Kumol and Dominic serviced it. It was like having a brand new car!!! Capitol Shine definitely met and exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and quality of service. I was a little worried, too, because I havent used any detailing companies yet since Ive been in this area (DMV), so I was so relieved that my money was well spent with their business. Dominic and Kumol were perfect gentlemen and did a top notch job on my car. My car is 8 years old and not a fancy brand, but they nevertheless provided a great service such that my little sedan looks AWESOME!!!It made me so happy to have my car look like they day I bought it and I am so excited about driving it even just for errands or to work now because it looks so presentable and professional! I cannot recommend this place enough! The first time I came there and wanted to do PPF, Ceramic Coating with Ceramic Pro for my interior and exterior, along with Ceramic tinting for my Tesla I was treated with superb customer service. Rob gave me a complimentary hand wash and I drove 30 mins from Potomac MD to Arlington where they are located. I will drive this distance for their excellent washing skills and attention to detail. I got the car back after a week and there was constant communication daily from the Capital shine team regarding my car status. They picked my car up from Potomac for the PPF, Ceramic work etc and hand delivered it when they were done- true touch less delivery. I have already started referring my friends and family and will be bringing my other vehicles here for washes, tinting, PPF and ceramic coating. Make sure to ask for Melvin and Rob- they treat you right and know what they are talking about without beating around the bush, nor don’t play any games. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!

This place does a really nice job, with great customer service. Its really easy to find if you follow their signs through the parking garage, and I was impressed at how fast they worked. I had some specific cleaning requests, and they took care of everything.

Very professional,courteous and friendly. I wanted tinting done ASAP; I called and was able to get an appointment within ten minutes ( I’d called this other outfit - Capitol Shine - they were very rude and obnoxious). The whole process ( two windows) took less than an hour !

I’m a bit overdue on my review. Last year I purchased the ceramic pro gold package including paint prep to remove some swirl marks from I assume the detailing at the dealership.These folks are super professional, they walk you through what needs to be done and why. the price is fairly high compared to do it yourself with an orbital and ceramic pro/equivalent, and you typically need to schedule a few days out but you definitely get what you pay for. You know it’s done right and is warrantied. I love how the water just rolls off the car when it rains and how easy it is to keep clean.They did put a tiny chip in my paint due to the automatic opening rear hatch and low ceilings in their garage but offered to make it right. I’ll definitely be back for a periodic maintenance detail because it comes out looking like new

I have a 2010 Mariner that had a leaky sunroof. There was mold on my seats and carpet.. I took it here and it looks like brand new!! I am so happy. They did an excellent job. All the stains are out of my seats, carpet, and roof and my car looks like new again!

Excellent service. Easy to book -- I put in a request for an appointment, and they were back to me within 24 hours. Convenient drop-off near the Courthouse Metro. I arranged a Full Auto Detail, and it made a well-used 2011 car feel almost like it was new. Most important, Hector and his coworkers were very helpful with a paint issue on the exterior of the car; they opted to give me sound advice rather than charge me for unnecessary service, and that was great! 10/10 would use again.

Got my windows tinted by Jhonny and it was a very easy process. Everyone there gets back to you quickly and were very friendly. They wanted to make sure you were happy with their service and it did come out great!

This is a good shop- heres why: I took my car in for a full detail. Things didnt go well, as the team wasnt able to finish the detail in the time they promised and they ended up breaking off some glass along with the rear view mirror while cleaning the windshield. Things happen.The owner was courteous and responsive, got my windshield replaced and had his team do another full detail job, which was done very well. One star off for having to go through the ordeal, but I would go back to them again for a detail.

The staff was very professional and cordial during my visit I would definitely encourage people to support their business. I was helped by Joseph & Malik they both took care of my car and got me out the door in a timely fashion.

We purchased the complete detail, both interior and exterior, and they did a great job. They were able to remove the stains out of our cloth seats and floor and were even able to buff out some paint transfer from the exterior of the car. The car looks brand new! Their prices are very reasonable and the graciously accommodated our schedule change, twice! They are located inside the parking garage of the building on P3. So pull into the garage, take a ticket and follow the signs through the garage down to P3. Cant miss them!

Joseph is the man! From the time I dropped off my car to when I picked it up, service was top notch! Not only did the car look fantastic, but they were able to turn it around in a couple of hours. I just got my car cleaned at Capital Shine. It hasn’t been washed in a couple of months and really needed some TLC. The guys were super friendly and did a fantastic job. I got the $125 wash/vac package and my Jeep came out as if brand new! They got rid of all mud and dirt that built up on the outside, and most of the pet hair and loose dirt on the inside. I may get a deep interior shampoo next time to give it a deeper scrub inside, but would absolutely recommend these guys!

I use Capitol Shine often and most recently had them put Ceramic Pro on my 2013 Porsche Cayenne. They did an amazing job and I was thrilled with the outcome! The scheduling process was very easy and they were able to get me in quickly which was great since I got the ceramic application on my newly purchased pre-owned vehicle before heading into winter weather in PA for the Thanksgiving holiday. They took as much time as we needed to answer all of our questions and address our concerns without any pressure as we made our decision on which services we purchased. Got the wash and wax package. When I went to pick my car up I noticed it still had some bugs on the front mirrors and the front bumper. The woman on the phone raved about how good their clay bar treatment got rid of every bug and every bit of sand when she got her car cleaned after going to the beach. So when I saw that, I was pretty surprised. I told the manager and he promised that hed make it right if I stuck around for another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later it looks alright but I have to wonder if they just used a compound that went right through the wax they supposedly treated the car with earlier.That was a bit of a headache but then when I was driving to work I noticed that my radio stopped working. They had forgotten to tighten the antenna after putting it back on the car.For 135 dollars, I expected a much higher quality job, and for it to be done right the first time. I believe that they probably do have some good people on staff, but apparently the guy who cleaned my car wasnt one of them. I wont be going back.

I didnt even have an appointment because I had a tight schedule but these guys stayed extra late to fit me in and make sure I could have my car by Sunday. I got the Bronze Package and got my car coated with ceramic pro light which was perfect for my 3 year lease. The car looks better than brand new. I plan on continuing my business with these guys and no one else because they care about the work they do and want to make sure your customer experience is the best. Called days ahead of time to schedule an appointment for a full detail a day before shipping the car overseas. Confirmed appointment was for Thursday and arrived that morning to be informed that they booked it on Friday by accident and they would not take the car. Mismanaged expectations, although their staff was very pleasant to talk to. Kimberly (Client Relations Manager) told me its going to take 30 - 45 min for Wash and Vac for a 2017 Jetta. Upon arrival, I was told it was going to be at least 90 min. I was a bit annoyed by that but didnt think much of it because I figured my car would be spotless inside out if someone spends that much time cleaning a car.Once I got the car, I noticed that the dash wasnt wiped but they wiped the dash after I asked. Then I drove off happy thinking that my car is nice and clean. Since theyre in the garage, it was hard to see the dust and crumbs on the seats but it became apparent once I parked at home in the sun that the door panels werent wiped and the seats werent vacuumed either. The carpet under the mats still had debris and the trunk also had debris. The only thing that seemed to have been cleaned in the interior were the all-season mats. Maybe it took them a lot of time to clean the mats and thats why they didnt get to vacuuming but I expected to not have to vacuum the inside after they had the car for 90 min.The exterior was great. They used clean wash cloths for drying so my paint didnt get scratched. They also lent me a phone charger which was nice. Just wish they had cleaned the interior better. I might go back and I might not. If you do, just make sure to check your car thoroughly before driving off.****************************EDIT*****************************The owner contacted me because I gave the business similar review on Yelp and wanted the opportunity to make things better for me, which he did. For that Im changing the rating from 2 to 4. When I came back for the second time, they made sure all my complaints were addressed.

I did wax and sealant 150$. They didnt even vacuum inside and tank saying its not included in the wax package. Pathetic and frustrated. You pay 150$ + tips to just do exterior wash and spray wax. The manager seemed not in a good mood and I guess it was his emotional cause that he decided not to do the usual service.

Great customer service and turnaround time. I worked directly with Will who walked me through the process pre and post conditions with ceramic pro. I have follow up appointments for the complimentary wash and check within the next 30 days and in 12 months.

These guys were great the first time I used their service. However, the second time we made an appointment for a Saturday morning, dropped the car off for a wash/vac, returned two hours later and the car had not been touched. Total waste of our time and the car washers didnt even seem to care. We called the main line and they apologized and offered us a complementary wash/vac, which is appreciated. We took the car in for our complementary wash/vac and the car look great.

Mildly disappointing wash quality and thoroughness, and long service time surpassing estimate. left the a/c on full + cold for drying, despite it only being an exterior wash and car doors not being open so theres no circulation. would probably save the money or go somewhere else.

Normally I do extensive research on a business prior to engaging with them, but I went here as a Im in desperate need of getting my car completely cleaned out from the winter and want it done NOW kind of moment. Boy was I glad I did! There location is SUPER convenient - right off a metro stop! And the service was unparalleled. The quality of my fully self-indulgent top to bottom front to back inside and out clean was ah-mazing! My car sparkles again - thanks to the clay bar - and smells so good inside. The interior looked fresh from the dealership. It looks like a completely brand new car again! Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially when you take into account the level of service and quality you are getting - luxury! Will was the specialist that worked on my car and did a fantastic job! This is definitely the place to go. Drop your car on your way to work, hop on the metro and come back after work to a beautiful, well taken care of car! You wont be disappointed!

Best car wash option for living in DC area or any area you cant wash your own car. Im used to fully detailing my own car but recently moved to DC and live in an apartment and cant do it myself anymore. I was looking for a place to get my car washed but only found drive through car washes which destroy your paint as well as the seals on your headlights and tail lights. I was so happy when I found this place that washes by hand for an affordable price with many other levels to upgrade to such as wax, Polish and interior cleaning. Another thing I like is the car is being washed in a garage so no worry about water spots baking on after washing. It is also located right next to a golds gym so I just work out while my car is being cleaned!Professional staff, good clean work!

I made a 7:30am appointment for an Interior Shampoo. When I got to the parking garage, their signage was nowhere to be found. When I called the manager, he directed me to the correct entrance (not the one mentioned in the email I received) and the guy working there was super friendly. He did a wonderful job and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Just got an interior Shampoo service today with additional cost & service is Excessive dog hair removal. It is pricey but it. My car looks new and smells clean/fresh. Definitely recommend.

Very good experience with Capitol Shine. Great job inside and out, finished on time and easy to work with. I went in because it was convenient and it turned out be a top of the line outfit. Try them out!

The outside cleaning was good. The vacuuming, however, was superficial at best, most of the dust on the dashboard was still there. Had to do the inside again myself. I won’t use this service again.

My daughter had a sunroof for the first time on her brand new Suburu Outback. Because she was unaccustomed to the sunroof, she left it open by mistake. Needless to say it rained right into her new car!!! Capitol Shine saved her!! They couldn’t have been more helpful. Got all of the rainwater out of the upholstery and deodorized it so it wouldn’t smell. Couldn’t be happier!!! If ever you have a problem, go there.

Mr. Wash was terrible and did so much damage to the coating of my car. Not only did Capitol Shine do the best cleaning in the history of me owning a car, they offer waxing and touching up of the car. So worth the money!!!!

Easy to find even though it’s in a parking garage, they have signs and send directions. Got an interior shampoo, wash, & ventilation decontamination, and they removed dog hair in the trunk! It feels new again and smells fresh, yay!
