FOLLOWUP REVIEW FROM ORIGINAL REVIEW (see Below)! -- So Sam and crew did an outstanding job for us, as detailed in my original review below, but I scratched our beautiful floor while moving a desk. I called Sam and he was out WITHIN THE HOUR to apply some stain to conceal the blemish. That just Reinforced my GOOD FEELINGS for Sam and Arlington Hardwood Flooring. I couldnt recommend them more highly! --- ORIGINAL REIEW .... Sam with Arlington Hardwood Flooring did an Excellent job for us. They were prompt and on time with both the start and finishing of our floor refinishing. We had two bedrooms re-sanded, and refinished with a minor repair to one floor. They look Beautiful now. They moved our furniture out and back from the work areas and were very careful and respectful of our furniture. Their price was more than fair. Id Highly recommend them!

Sam and his team did a fantastic job! We have unique, pine floors that needed some touch-ups and staining. He spent 30 minutes on the phone answering our questions and then agreed to drive beyond his normal drive radius to do the work. Hes in high demand but still made time for us. The results were great and you could tell that his 30+ years of experience were coming through as he expertly solved each problem. I would highly recommend Arlington Hardwood Flooring.

We had a small staircase in maple we wanted refinished. Although it was an extremely small job, Sam and his team took on the job and were able to refinish the stairs in a gray tone to match the rest of our house. I would recommend them for your floor refinishing needs.

In my opinion this company is racial profiling and unprofessional. Their advertisements says they service surrounding areas of Chicago but not the Southside of Chicago. I happened to live on the south side of Chicago. My money is just as good as the north side of Chicago and its surrounding areas. So I would not recommend them at all,especially to any African Americans. My money is my voice of protest.Thank you

We had Arlington Hardwood re-finish a small LR and kitchen. It took them three tries, and we were without furniture for three weeks. Still not satisfied with the final outcome. Sam, the owner is a nice guy and we trusted him, but results were far less than we expected.

We had Arlington Hardwood install hardwood flooring in our family room at least 20 years ago when we lived in Wheaton. They are very professional and I cant say enough how beautiful the floors turned out. They will also do special borders around your fireplace. We were also very pleased that they left everything so very tidy! Years later I moved to Glen Ellyn and was unhappy to once again have carpeting in my family room. I immediately called Sam as I knew he would know what to do and what I like. Also his pricing is very competitive. And I feel very comfortable leaving my home while they work on the flooring. Also I cant say enough about how great it is to find a company that is reliable and continues to be in business for all these years! A few years ago, I called Sam once again to have them install hardware flooring in the master bedroom, master closet, and upstairs hallway. I just love it!A customer that keeps coming back!
