I started working our here since Jan 2020 and now its one and half year with them. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Working out there is peaceful and no judgment zones are for real. Equipment are always superfine conditions. Staff is courteous and helpful. Spa zone are worth every dollar and minute you spend on them.

Your front counter girl has a bad attitude, however your man Corey is a baller. He was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. With his expert knowledge he was able to help me out with my account issues. Great guy!

Great place. Clean, spacious with plenty of free weights, machines and treadmills. At $10 a month you cant ask for more.

At first, this place seemed like it was missing a leader for the younger staff. Most staff members were seen just hanging out. I’ve been frequent visitor as of late and it seems to have someone in place that is giving direction. Staff is constantly seen cleaning floors, wiping down machines, dusting down equipment... where before that little detail stuff was being missed. I know that some will say that stuff doesn’t matter... but when it’s being done it shines a positive light on the work the staff is doing to keep the place clean and sanitized during this interesting COVID-19 era of doing business. That little detail stuff doesn’t go unnoticed. The staff is friendly and attentive.Thanks to the team here. If you’re looking for a clean place to workout - you should definitely check this location out.

There’s like 4-5 people standing in the counter and there’s no paper towels in any of the stands to clean the machines. Ridiculous. Someone needs to get these people trained.

For the people on here writing bad reviews about not wearing mask. If your that paranoid STAY HOME.... forever!The world does not have revolve around fear based media. While I work out at this gym I do not wear a mask and guess what it is NOT mandatory. So tired of the mask police already find a new hobby.This gym is alway clean, staff is very friendly and equipment is all fairly new. The best part Is their monthly rate is very reasonable.So to my fellow members please stop complaining, control issues is not a good look on anyone.

I come to this gym about 4 days out of the week then suddenly today the front desk people are harassing me about my I.D normally the staff are really friendly and I never have any problems please take a closer look, open those eyes before you decide to say someone isnt who they are

Good thing the palatine location is closer to my house because i would cancel my membership after one day if this was my only option. i wanted to use the massage chair and literally just joined today and didn’t know how things worked. I stood at the counter for a few minutes while the girl was facing the other direction watching something on her phone. I tried to get her attention and was ignored. Its also really dark inside it doesnt look like theyre open if youre looking from outside.

No mask required anywhere in facility past the front desk. I usually work out very early to avoid people. I appreciate the prompt response from the owner of this location. I would ask that the owner remind staff members of the policy in place.

Good amount of new equipment. Plenty of space. Clean. Updated restrooms. Very good price. Cant really complain. Hours are shorter now but thats b/c of Covid. Once things return to normal, wish it can be open 24/7 instead of 24/5.

Ive been with PF Arlington Heights for a few years now, and have always found it to have warm and welcoming staff who are ready to help, assist, and guide you in various areas of health and fitness. The state of the art machines and fitness equipment is motivating, while the standard of cleanliness is very high. A great place to workout without disturbance!

Worst gym company you can go too. The manager is pathetic. I cancelled my membership back in August and they still keep charging me every week. After fighting for them for a month or so. They finally refunded my money and now few days later theyre charging me again. I am getting a lawyer and taking them to court. This business not only is terrible but the company needs to be shut down completely for fraud. I will be taking major steps to bring them down if they dont accommodate me and stop charging my bank card. I would highly recommend to NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THEIR GYMS EVER!

Love Planet Fitness but I am very disappointed we can longer use the back gym. I used to go back there where it was Zip and loved doing my own workout using the free weights there away from all the boys. I am seriously considering changing gyms to one that offers a room like this because Planet Fitness No longer offers it.

I have been a member of this gym form last 1 year I would suggest everyone to take care of the the fees they are charging you each month. They told me my account no more exist so they charged me member fee again and then on started charging me for 2 different account. The employees don’t know how to use computer they can hardly access the machine and enrol you in or out. And the experience to roll out was terrible. Hate the customer service.

Jocelyn was great she really helped me out without hesitation when I had asked if she can store a shake for me, which most gyms won’t do! Given my commute on certain occasions this was really helpful and convenient! More reasons to love PF!

Nice facility. However, it is extremely exhausting that little effort has been made to fix the TV issue. Apparently the only station that works is FOX news. The irony is that the planet fitness brand is one that prides itself in its inclusiveness, yet this facility can only stream divisive media. I’m here to burn calories, not brain cells.

Gym is very clean and the staff is very friendly. When you hit the gym at non busy hours, you can try all the equipment. The training is a very good option at that price. I have been taking classes from the trainer Jamie for over 2 weeks now and I feel so good after every session.

I LOOOOOOOVE PLANET FITNESS! I started as a member of the Mundelein facility. Then I moved to Wheeling. I now belong to the Arlington Heights location and I love it just as much. The young people at the front desk are friendly and respectful. They bring a good vibe to the place. I love the machines and the fact that the people are regular people - not perfect bodies. Awesome. Love this place.

Love my Planet Fitness! It is extremely clean, there are plenty of machines available and I especially like the area in the back with the floor mats where you can lay down to exercise and stretch. It has such a chill relaxing vibe, no booming pounding music. I feel very comfortable working out there!

Katie (the GM)and the rest of her team are awesome!! I spent two months in that area for Corp. Training and they were always accommodating. I actually swapped my hotel, so I could be closer to the gym. After my ten visits were up, Katie still let me come in a couple more times until I left to go home. Excellent customer service!!!

When I went to Planet Fitness in Arlington Heights, I was very happy with cleanliness of the facility. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue my membership at this time.

This is the most comfortable, cleanest and enjoyable I’ve been too. I recommend to all my friends. 5 stars and more! The staff and manager are awesome! I travel 8 miles and pass other clubs and still choose this club over them!

I’ve been going to this gym for over a year now. It’s always clean (the locker rooms and equipment) and the staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Evelyn is also very helpful and nice! I recommend coming here.

It’s a cool gym, I just wish they had a boxing room. I don’t like taking pictures at the gym so I won’t be posting much here. But overall I’m satisfied with it, it’s close to my house and closer to my job. I’ll be going there until I can switch to a different gym with a boxing room and a pool. Lol

I literally drive out of my way to go to this PF in Elk Grove. Its clean, plenty of equipment and friendly staff. Two small complaints... Not enough mat room in the abs room. Ive had to drag a mat out in the commonway by the garbage cans at times. Why not move some of the underutilized equipment out so there is more room for people doing mat work? Also, the employees need to walk around more instead of congregating at the front. I see a lot of people not wiping down the equipment and have been told they cant do anything unless they see it. They would see it if they walked around more.

It’s been almost two months since I signed up. Great gym, not crowded fun and affordable. People mind their business and don’t stare much as in other gyms. The No critic zone make people feel more confortable and less conscious.

I dont think people that have positive things to say about this location have actually taken the time to post a review. I was hesitant to get a membership here due to the reviews, but I took the chance and I signed up here and Im happy that I did. Im still a pretty new member, but every time Ive been here the gym has been super open making my workouts a breeze. Everything is clean and in order. As of right now, I have no complaints.

Minimal free weights. Dumbbells only go up to 55 and no benches or squat racks. Had some dated machines but you can get a decent workout if you get creative. Workers are friendly and people are ok. Much better gyms in the area for a little more.

This location, under a month ago was a Zip Fitness. It turned into a Planet Fitness out of nowhere, and customers only received an email notification after the fact. There was no warning.After I went to the location a lady, curly black hair let me know that I had to re-enroll to stay with membership at that location.I stopped going and I got a charge, which was a prorated Zip charge to be able to use the facility for half a month. Nowhere was this announced nor is there a paper trail to show this.I am told I cannot get a refund and that I have to formally cancel with this gym of which I never signed a contract with, or signed anything with for that matter, or they will keep charging me. A gym I signed nothing with, or wanted to be a member of will keep charging me.This is not okay to do to people, I will be filing a complaint with the FTC and reporting on the BBB. An apology and a refund would suffice, allowing people to cancel with ease instead of placing obstacles, especially when its with customers that never intended to be members of Planet Fitness. Zip fitness is 100% to blame as well. I spoke to Melvin who told me the higher ups would not be okay with giving refunds, but would not allow me to speak to those higher ups.

So disappointed in the changes since summer. Awful tv choices, no use of back gym that Zip used. Why not use that huge gym??? Instead brought in a ton more machines and now it’s cramped—especially in what many of us used as a mat room. My daughter and I work out here, and I was going to convince my husband to leave Crunch for here. Not sure anymore.I have asked about the tv choices (after noticing no more HGTV or Bears games) and was told Planet Fitness bought a package of programming. It is terrible.

Planet Fitness is a fun, motivational gym. I tend to workout !before work Monday thru Friday and enjoy the non-judgemental environment there. The staff is friendly and always makes me feel welcome!

It sucks compare to ZIP fitness that was here 6 month ago. Overall cleanliness is not too bad but layout and machines are suck! Will look for another gym in the area.

Gym is brand new.Place is clean.Staffs are friendly.Place doesnt get that crowded.Only downside is the lack of free weight like for bench press etc.A lot of people hating on this new gym because of its previous management. Dont look at this as the old gym, rather look at it as a brand new Gym and set your reviews from there.

The TV situation is rediculous. Please bring back HGTV. I have nothing to enjoy while on the treadmill. Sports, news, fishing, and a reality cop show. At least in the past I had a movie channel and HGTV to fall back on. My rating will not change until they gear at least 2 channels for women. Your motto you belong no longer includes me. I cant enjoy my workout. Jocelyn, if you could please forward this to corporate, that would be great.

They ask for your checking account but fail to charge it and send you to collections without notifying you. Nothing can get resolved over the phone. Manager hangs up the phone when you ask for corporate number.

Tried this location out a few times and was underwhelmed. The weight machines were often under maintained. Exposed cables, worn-through padding, excessive play before the weight kicks in, broken adjustability, and binding which causes the force required to lift/move greater than what is called for by the pin in the plates. Try elsewhere.

The girls in the reception desk are very friendly and helpful.But the guys are NOT.

They unnecessarily charge fee. If you raise a concern employee will tell you to cancel the membership. They are rude and manager will not listen your concerns. Corporate customer service is another mess. They also don’t listen to your concerns. Do not fall for $10. Join somewhere. They charge even after you cancel your membership.

Never busy and lots of space to work out as a group as well as in the stretching area. Always clean. My only complaints are regarding lack of some equipment that my other usual gym location has (resistance bands, bosu balls, and the newer PF 360 circuit area)

Worst costumer service ever, after this gym charging membership for 4 months from my bank account without me knowing because apparently it took over my old gym I decided to give it a try. Came in and asked for a new tag and they guy at the front told me he needed my card info and I told him it should be on file since payments have been taken from there, he was giving me an attitude and said if I don’t like it I can go somewhere and did not hesitate to tell me to sign and he closed down my account

This used to be a great, affordable gym as zip fitness. Ever since the change to Planet Fitness they got rid of all the squat racks, bench press and other essential equipment .I also received major attitude from Sasha when asking politely to terminate my membership.
