Tony and Kevin came to our house to Gap Seal it from mice getting in. Both men were very professional and diligent in their work. Tony explained everything they were doing to the house and answered all questions my wife and I asked of them. I would recommend the both of these guys highly.

Thank goodness ABC wildlife works on weekends and holidays! Easter morning we were surprised by a sick skunk on our patio and we had guests coming over that afternoon. Within about 90 minutes our technician Danny came and removed the skunk, even though he got sprayed. He was polite, efficient and thorough. He definitely deserves a five star review!

I called to make an appointment to have mom and baby raccoons removed from my attic, since I was told they will catch and release them back to nature far away from the home. Unfortunately they told me they will have to kill them because they are overpopulated in Illinois, so I cancelled my appointment and found another company that was willing to work with me to make sure mom and babies are released together and not killed. I give them 3 stars because I am sure they do a good job in capturing the animals and taking care of the cleaning and sanitizing aftermath. They just need to think outside of the box. There is always another option that will be a win win for both parties.

FYI this is not a wildlife rehabilitation, they capture and kill the pests. Please don’t confuse pest control with a rescue. Not saying anything bad about them, it is just not what they do.

ABC Wildlife are always ready to complete the job when you call. For two years straight we have had a problem with a momma racoon and her babies but this year they were able to get the mom and three babies from our chimney. I truly appreciate there efforts.

A very quick process for removal of a dead skunk. I called on Wednesday and it was gone by Thursday morning. I received an advanced call from the tech before his arrival and he was on time and courteous upon arrival. The removal itself took no more than a few minutes and afterwards the tech took a few minutes to provide tips on how to mitigate any smell that had permeated the house.

They charged me $65 to tell me yes, you have or had mice. How is that helpful? When I asked them to bait for them, they told me, we have a monthly plan for $70.00 we set out poison, and then we check it every month. Uh huh....great.

ABC is a terrific company and I highly recommend them. (Second time in 2 years). Tonight I saw a large appossum in my basement and ABC was here within an hour of my call. The folks with whom I dealt were really helpful, and the young man who came out, Danny, was impressive to say the least. Prompt, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and more. He trapped and treated the appossum in a very responsible and humane manner. Because it was late night the rate was a bit higher yet well worth it. I have every confidence in the company and its employees.

The technician who came was knowledgeable, but quite rude and short. Additionally, if you’re not wealthy, keep looking. This company charges $140 to set the trap, and $85 each time they have to come and get an animal out of the trap.UPDATE: ABC called this morning with an apology for the rude behavior of their technician and waived the pick up fee for the capture today. When I explained the situation they said they completely understood and offered a free inspection should I choose too use them again.

As professional a company as you will find. Before they ever came to my house, they e-mailed me with their extensive Covid-19 precautions.Everyone from the people who answer the phone to the actual guys who do the work were friendly. They informed me of every step in great detail.I used ABC years ago and now this week. Why look anywhere else!

I have worked for ABC Humane wildlife in the past, and they are an awesome company to work for; plus they do professional work.However, for the past year I have been calling them and calling them over and over, to ask about the jobs they are hiring for again. They have about 10 different ads on Craigslist seeking new employees, but when you reply to the ad, no one ever contacts you in regards to an interview. When you call and finally get ahold of someone (a very rare occasion), they transfer you to a manager voice mail, but the hiring manager never calls you back.Also, contrary to what their job ads say, when I was working for them, they ended up laying off me and a few other laborers because they were short on available work.If they are so desperate for new employees, why do they not reach back out to someone that has been trying to reach them for a year?????

I talked to Sal first who explained in detail everything they needed to do. It also calmed me down which helped because I was freaked out about having a raccoon in the attic! Adapted procedures to work within Covid-19 restrictions and made several visits at no charge when these adaptations required more trips than usual. Prompt and professional. Called ahead the day of each visit and emailed a service report after every visit.

I obtained two estimates, and ABC was the more expensive of the two, but they were well worth it and they were a whole world of difference in terms of expertise, professionalism, and references above the other prospective vendor. When we were having our roof redone on my 15,000 square foot office building, the roofing contractor found a colony of dozens of brown bats. He said their little faces were peeking at him. I was not surprised because we had a bat flying around the office in 2017, but we had assumed it entered through the dock. Anyway, I called the Illinois Department of Natural Resources in Springfield, and they pointed me to a district biologist who called me back and said that he has a lot of confidence in ABC. ABC came out and realized that because of a construction flaw, the bats were living in between the original brick of our building and a stucco veneer. They sealed a gap around the entire perimeter of the building and installed a one-way door in a remaining opening for the bats to fly out. My college-age daughter is a documentary film student and she installed a camera to document the bats leaving. The footage is awesome! Once the bats were out, ABC sealed up the final hole. I was very impressed with everything about the process. My wife is an attorney and she reviewed ABCs service plan/contract/warranty. She said the was impressed with the level of detail and transparency. The thing that impressed me the most was after the work was done, ABCs bat project manager said he would like to come out after the new roof goes on to make sure none of the materials they installed are disturbed. I asked, how much is that visit going to cost me? He responded that it would be no charge, but that it would give him peace of mind. My whole service experience was great, but a final inspection visit to give their project manager peace of mind made me feel taken care of made me a client for life. A very excellent company!

Honest and professional. We called A-B-C Humane to evaluate our home for a mouse problem. They were very honest about what we could do, how effective it could be given our addition area, and what it would cost, including what we could do ourselves if we wanted to save some money. In the end, we ended up tackling the problem ourselves following their point-of-entry analysis and recommendations for trapping the mice. They are still sending us a proposal to keep in mind for the future if/when the problem gets worse or we are able to save for more drastic measures. I highly recommend them, even if they cost a bit more than other places. Thanks Michael Kiely for your help!

I had an unhappy surprise discovering 3 skunks in the window well of the basement. I searched for an answer and fortunately found ABC Humane Wildlife Control. They were able to come to my home in a few hours, which required an emergency fee, and quickly and professionally removed the skunks. Later in the day the mother skunk also made her way in to the window well. ABC returned at no extra fee and removed the mother. Nick and Brandon were professional, knowledgeable and performed the work in good humor.

I went with ABC because the reviews were good and everyone with whom I spoke seemed nice. But the level of expertise is questionable. They charged $125 for the initial inspection and to set a trap to catch a raccoon. The first indication that this may not be a good idea was when the tech suggested setting the trap on the ground which wasnt a good idea since any animal could be caught. After the initial visit, they came out once a week to reset/rebate the traps and check indicators. After 3 weeks with no breach of the indicators and still hearing activity, I contact them to find out the next step. I wanted to know what was their process when the indicators are still in tact but the animal is still active. I think any reasonable person would surmise that the animal obviously found another way in. Not this company. They kept harping on the indicators remaining intact and recommended closing the visible entry point. I insisted they not do that since the animal was obviously still there. We could hear it every evening. I was told they would come back and try to find another entry point. Instead, they came out and removed the trap. They didnt even bother to call and tell me they removed it. This was despite me telling them the animal is still active. They didnt bother to figure out how it was getting in. When I followed up to find out what they planned to do, I was given some nonsense about their policy is that if the trap has been removed more than 7 days ago, they charge a fee to come back and reset traps. Keep in mind, I had already told them the animal was still there and had been even prior to them removing the initial trap. At the same time I hired ABC, I also hired a restoration company to do the cleanup once the animal was caught. Ive been through this in the past and I know the cleanup is critical. Plus I have kids and a pet and dont want the parasites, feces or smell lingering . The restoration company warned me that they wouldnt recommend ABC and suggested I find someone else. But I felt the guys who came to my house were very nice (the only person with a bit of an attitude is Jennifer who answers the phones) and I wanted to give them a chance. I should have listened. Now, a month later, I have to hire another company to trap this thing because ABC couldnt complete the job and clearly wasnt interested in trying. This was such a waist of my time.

They are very courteous, efficient and a joy to work with. Today, the phone accidentally got disconnected. Immediately I got a phone call from them. First time I have ever gotten a call back when that has happened. My special request today was handled perfectly, and I have great confidence it will be carried through as I have requested. Highly recommend!

Their customer service is pretty good, very courteous. I had to deduct a stars due to the unnecessary charges of $300 I had to pay for trapping squirrels that were just walking across my roof. Plus, It took too many weeks to get my attic vent fan guard. UPDATE: 2 days after they came out to complete the job, I heard critters again in the same spot. $675 later & still have the same issue. I’m sad that my experience with ABC Wildlife wasn’t a successful one. I‘ll hire another company moving forward.

I gave ABC Wildlife a bad review after two weeks of attempting to fix a severe skunk problem at my house. So severe that the smell in my house woke me up, made me ill, and even made my clothing smell when I went to work! The day after my review, ABC responded sending another specialist to help with this issue free of charge. He actually crawled under my deck and set up a trap, more secure with stakes and used a better bait. After a few days, ABC set a 2nd trap. Finally, they set up a camera. Unfortunately, we never trapped any skunks, only two opossums. Im keeping my fingers crossed for now, but I do feel that ABC Wildlife professionally did everything that they could for me.

The work was done very well. ABC removed a rodent family from my wall! It was definitely not something I expected to need, but they made the work easy. I loved how they kept my house clean by wearing booties, and also following up with my later. The price was very reasonable, especially for everything they did for us. I definitely recommend them for similar work.

Great staff. I shopped around for price and quality, and finally had ABC come out to look the tiny hole that I noticed in my basement. We also had mouse poop on a regular basis, and I didnt think I could take care of this myself. They sealed the hole, and also checked for other possible entry ways. I have to tell you of the wonderful experience I had with ABC Wildlife! I called them because I thought I had a squirrel or worse yet, a raccoon in my attic. I made an apt for 9 days out, but said I would greatly appreciate it if they could get here sooner! Jeff, spoke to me a few days later and told me one of his workers had a cancellation. Sadly it did not work for me but two days later he called back and his worker was there in 20 minutes! Ryan, was the nicest young man and explained things as he went along...I truly learned a great deal!I was told when I arranged to hire them that it would be $125.00 for the inspection and $75.00 per animal they too out. Its really not a bad price as I dont have the traps or talent to remove anything! Plus what would I do with something if I caught anything?While Ryan was here, he determined it was not a raccoon or a squirrel but those busy little mice finding a home for the winter. II so appreciated the tips he gave me to get the mice out and keep them out! After he fully inspected my house in the 45 minutes plus that he was here I pulled out the checkbook to pay him and he said there was no charge as he didnt set traps and didnt find the need for them! Wow who does that? Incredible!I sure will call them, should I suspect any other critter is moving into my house!

I have nothing but praise for ABC. Heres why.We had problems with squirrels in our attic for several years. We tried every single DIY trick under the sun to try and get rid of them including ultrasonic pest repellents, essential oils, mothballs, loud noises, motion activated lights etc. Not one single thing worked.Finally earlier this month I called ABC Humane Wildlife Control and Prevention after reading all the positive reviews about them. Heres my exact experience with them.I called them Friday April 26 and told them about my problem. They told me they would have someone out to take a look Monday April 29. Dean, from ABC Wildlife showed up as promised on Monday, listened to what I had to say about the problem and asked me to point out where I thought the squirrels were getting into the attic. He took a look, confirmed that the squirrels were indeed getting in where I thought they were and quickly baited and set up a trap near the entry point just above the gutter on the roof of our two-story house.Literally less than 30 minutes after he left, we had our first squirrel trapped. I called ABC to inform them about the catch and they immediately had someone come out the same day (April 29) to remove the animal and to bait and set another trap. The technician/biologist also set up some kind of a breach-able barrier at the entrance the squirrels were using to get in and out of the attic so theyd know if squirrels were using the entrance or not.We caught out second squirrel the same day in about one hour after the trap was set. It was after-hours when I called ABC to inform them about the animal in the trap, so it wasnt until next day (Tuesday April 30) that someone came out and removed the animal and re-baited and reset the trap. We caught our third-squirrel the same day. ABC sent out someone to pick up the animal and reset the trap on Wednesday May 1. Once again, in barely two hours after the trap was set, another squirrel was caught—the fourth. An ABC biologist came out Thursday May 2 removed the animal and reset the trap. This time though (and finally) no other squirrels were trapped.After one week and with no more squirrels caught ABC Wildlife sent someone out Friday (May 10) to remove the trap and take a look at the breach-able barrier. Upon finding no signs the entrance had been breached he proceeded to seal the hole with a steel barrier.Its been more than one week since we heard squirrels scratching and scrambling and gnawing in our attic and I cannot begin to describe the relief.Heres what it cost us; $125 for the initial visit, inspection and setting the trap. Then it was $75 for each visit after to pick up the trapped squirrel and to re-bait and to re-set the traps. Finally it was $150 to install the steel barrier to seal the entry point.Total cost: $575( $125 for initial visit +4X$75 ($300) for the four visits to remove the trapped squirrel and reset the trap+ $150 for installing the steel barrier).I have no idea how that cost compares with other services. All I can say is that it has been worth every penny.I have no hesitation recommending ABC Humane Wildlife

We had a bee situation that was pretty bad. We called ABC and they were able to come out the next day. They did an incomplete job and the bees were still there. After I complained, they sent another technician and he was able to do a much more thorough job. He found a ton of nests and got rid of them. He sprayed a lot more of the solution in different spots. He spent a lot of time making sure that he found as much as possible. When he left I felt very good about his work. I could see the yellow jackets dying. ABC checked in every couple days to make sure that we were taken care of and to make sure the bees were reducing in number.I was very happy they remedied the situation and the quickness of the service.

I am so grateful for the job ABC did for us. I was really worried that wed have to open the wall to understand what was making a scratching sound at night...but they sealed some holes, and everything seems to be OK now. The person that came to do the job was very kind, and we had a great chat about the process. I really appreciate that.

We discovered that some song birds and their fledglings had made their home within our bathroom walls. Anytime we were in the bathroom theyd wake up and cause a ruckus. ABC Wildlife Control came out and humanely extracted the birds from our walls and patched the entrance they were coming in from to prevent any future birds from nesting in our walls. He was friendly, and very efficient in capturing the animal quickly and securely from inside the fireplace, with no harm resulting to either the animal or to the inside of our home. He later showed us how it gained entry to our chimney, and scheduled a technician for a free inspection of our home for any areas vulnerable to entry by wildlife pests. The tech later emailed me pictures hed taken of areas of concern that needed attention and ABC has the resources to take care of nearly any routine damage caused by wildlife. Their service was great, and the service charge was extremely reasonable. Having a company like this to rely on gives us a great sense of security.

We run our business out of our home, so its very important that any pest activity is taken care of. I noticed that there were mice droppings happening in my office, and hired ABC to make sure this didnt happen again. Its been two months, and I think its safe to say now that everything is OK. Definitely did a good job on this one.

My dogs were in a bad raccoon fight which ended in the raccoons death. When I called we arranged a pick-up for the animal and I was given information on how to proceed with treatment of my dogs. The staff was very knowledgeable and the service was fast. I truly appreciate the help I received.

They came out and sounded great. Took our money (which was pricey compared to others). Then when it came to get a quote for repairs, they didnt give us what we asked for (trying to sell Cadillac fox instead of Honda) and were unresponsive. We have unreturned emails and calls.Update: Owner Reached out, listened to feedback and wanted to help understand why there was a disconnect and make it better. I greatly appreciate a company with a leader who strives for amazing customer service and continuous improvement.

We have been using the ABC team for many years. The service has always been excellent. Our experience is that they have always been to our appointments on time with great customer service. The prices are more than fair. We have used them at our business which is an Automotive Campus on over 24 acres with four large retail buildings and our homes. They can handle any job we have given them. We Highly recommend them.

ABC Humane Wildlife Control of Arlington Heights came out to catch a skunk that decided to burrow under our enclosed porch and did it ever stink. Each representative that came out to place a trap answered all our questions completely and gave accurate pricing. Once the skunk was caught, we wanted a trap placed in case there were more, but it was a opossum that took the skunks place. Upon removal of the opossum, they did a flea and odor treatment which we especially wanted for the flea part since we have a dog. Any time I called the office before or after hours, their answering service was extremely nice and the office personnel were very helpful too. We would use ABCs services again if necessary, but we are hoping no more skunks!

Did a good job. The price was competitive and I felt like the person on the phone cared about helping me get this done. They checked out my garage, and it looks like there wont be any squirrels in there now. I will keep their number for future jobs.
