Took my Prius in this past winter after my catalytic converter was stolen off the bottom of the car. Tony was able to get a cheaper replacement and put a lock on it so that it couldnt be taken. When I went to the dealership for a test the other week, they said they had never seen anything like the lock and that it was incredibly creative. Even though I live out of the area now, I will drive the extra distance to take my car here. Very highly recommend.

Ace Tech Auto Repair is 10/10! I came in for my Tesla Model 3 repairs. I had visited several other Tesla Certified shops and ended up coming here due to their professionalism, expertise, and customer service. I had extensive damage on my front bumper and side from something that flew and hit my car on the Freeway. The sensors were broken and had to get a complete new front. Jennifer and her team took care of me and was tentative to all my needs. Repairs were said to be a couple weeks but I got it back faster than they quoted. They also took care of me with my rental car situation as they knew the local vendors in the area. They won a customer for life and any of my Tesla needs. I will be back. Thank you Ace Tech!

Ive had MANY cars over MANY years at MANY auto shops.Taking my car in usually brings some emotional and financial turmoil. And then there was ACE.My car recently failed an emissions test. I wont mention the two other shops that I consulted, but rather focus on TONY at ACE.I randomly found the place from a google search near me.All the little things added up.---a bit of personality and politeness on the phone---getting back to me right away when he said hed get back to me right away---giving a detailed cost estimate...painful, but totally fair (YES--I did compare pricing with the two other shops)---inviting me to ask questions and even encouraging me to get a second opinion (while he was actually my THRID opinion)---getting my car back the same day when the other guys wanted two days.Im almost hesitant to write a good review, because I dont want Tony to be over-whelmed with new clients.However, he has proven that he can handle... with clear honesty... whomever comes to his shop.Okay...I didnt mean to write an essay, just want to clearly and gratefully express my satisfaction with ACE TECH AUTO REPAIR.Now pardon me while I go write a YELP review.

If you want great customer service at a great price, you will find it very hard to beat Ace Tech Auto. Ive been having my car serviced for years at Caseys Automotive in Palatine, which is very professional and does a very good job. However, the last time I brought my car in was to deal with cupped tires that were the result of bad shocks. Casey quoted me $2,600 for the front and back shocks and 4 tires. My brother told me about Tony at Ace Tech so I went there. And, boy am I glad I did. Tony did my back shocks with tires for $750. He said my front shocks and tires probably had another 15,000 + miles before they would need to be taken care of. So, if I do those at the same price (or roughly), Im still looking at the total price being nearly $1,100 less than Caseys. Thats a lot of money. I have been recommending Ace Tech to everyone I know and whoever has gone there has had nothing but great things to say.

Tony has been my go to guy for several years now. He has economically kept two older high mileage cars on the road for me. Always on point and there for me when i have an issue. Tony is a solid, straight shooter and you never have to look over your shoulder and wonder if youre getting ripped off. Great mechanic, prompt and very reasonable.

By far the Best auto shop in town. No scams, no bs, just straight to the point business talk. Since you walk to the door, the atmosphere there makes you feel you are in a “old school-type” of car shop that will tell you what’s wrong with your car and how to fix it, without the need for pushing stuff that you don’t need in order to make a quick buck. This guys are legit, can’t recommend this place enough.

Tony has been working on my vehicles for close to 5 years. From simple repairs like brakes on my Lexus GS300 and Toyota Sequoia to a complete suspension and steering rebuild on my Mercedes SL500. Tony does high quality work, takes ownership of the repairs, and stands behind his work. His rates are very reasonable and his schedule is flexible enough that I get work done when I need it. I would recommend Ace Tech to anyone needing vehicle service.

I was in the market for a new mechanic, and noticed this new business in town. So, last week I stopped in to talk with the owner, asking about services performed, employee work experience, and hourly labor charges. His answers satisfied me, so I decided to get my rear brakes done there. Upon completion of the job, the owner gave me a detailed description of the work done and verified the cost of materials and labor. He also explained the break-in procedure for my new brakes. The pricing was very fair, and my vehicle stops smoothly. Ill definitely go back when the need arises.

Tony is my favourite mechanic now. I have referred him to atleast 3 of my friends and all of them are happy. I find him to provide the best service with a decent price and no upselling.I did my Mitsubishi transmission and brake fluid flush with the same fluid my manufacturer recommend for a price thats way below my dealer quoted.My friend who got a advised by Firestone to replace all the brakes went to Tony and he said brakes can last another 6 months and when he is up for next oil change we can decide to change brakes or not.

Went to this place because my nephew recommended it and was hesitant at first. Honestly, its hard to find an honest mechanic and of course, someone that fits the bill. Ive been here about 4 times. Ive had no issues getting my car worked on fast and no issues with travelling here. Easy to find with a big sign and pleasant workers. Ace tech auto surpassed my expectations! Initially I came in for an oil change and that’s exactly what I got for an awesome price, but I also had some major issues with my car prior to me visiting this shop. The owner ordered the pieces through his shop and received them in just 2 days. Last spring (2019) Ace Tech did my brakes. Upgraded my stock brakes on my 2014 5.7L V8 AWD Dodge Charger with Pursuit Package to PowerStop Brakes. Car stops much sooner now with the higher sport type brakes then stock. With past cars I owned when taken to other places it was always a hit or miss on the service. At Ace Tech you will get great service with a friendly staff and own. Highly recommended.
