Just returned from a 5-day trip on DeGray Lake with Anchors Away and couldnt have been more impressed. The boat was in great condition: new furniture, clean grill, plenty of space. The kitchen? Comes stocked with more pots, pans and utensils than any professional chef would use (although you should always bring your own sharp kitchen knife). The built-in dishwasher was also a blessing (especially for the kids who are usually on dish duty). Unlike other houseboat companies, this one even throws in free satellite TV (that we used to watch the SpaceX Crew Dragon launch live on the lake—memories, I tell you).Never rented or driven a houseboat before? No worries. This crew will drive you to a quiet spot on the lake, tie you off and leave you alone. If youre experienced, theyll pilot you out of the marina and send you on your way.But without question, the customer service is what sets this company apart. Forget to bring sugar? Theyll give you a bag. Not sure theres enough propane left to grill that six-pound tenderloin for an hour? Theyll literally bring you a spare tank on the back of a jet ski. Kids fishing on the dock at the end of the trip while youre unloading? Theyll throw a few minnows around their baits to see if they can catch a fish. WHO DOES THAT??Anchors Away does. Thats why well be back. At this point, its just figuring out if well be back this fall to watch the leaves turn or early next summer to celebrate the end of the school year. Heck, at this point well probably do both.Fantastic trip across the board. Wont be the last, either.

What a wonderful getaway! This houseboat was incredible with all the bells and whistles you could imagine. The entire houseboat was fresh and clean and stocked with everything you would need for your cooking, showers and everything else. The staff and owners are wonderful and made our time special. You will not go wrong with renting from this family owned business. They are honest and do what they say they will do. I highly recommend these folks and their beautiful houseboat. Clean house boats, with every thing a person can think of. Hot tubs are a blast. Great idea to rent a couple jet skis to add some extra fun.

Had a blast on their 6 bedroom boat with satellite tv and a hot tub! Tv’s in all the rooms, all this came with the rental with no extra charge including all linens, towels, and cookware. They even provided the propane for the grill! Very clean and tons of fun! We will be back!!

New owners have taken over 2-3 years ago and we have seen multiple upgrades to the boats! Love the free satellite tv, propane for the grill was free and the hot tub on top! Tvs in all the rooms with DVD players for the kiddos as well! It was great and prices were better here! Will be back for sure!! A+

Both the houseboats are amazing i absolutley love the water slides and hot tubs!! If you’re looking for a vacation full of fun on the lake this is the place to go!

Really nice staff at Lake DeGray... Anchors Away rinse very very large boats and has a great staff thats always available assistance and Quality Rentals seem to be their Forte
