I went into this establishment on a Friday to get a Fullset and pedicure, when I first walked in I was not greeted just looked at, and when someone finally greeted me it was, ”what you want?” I stated what I wanted and was told in response that they didn’t have enough people even though there were 3 people assisting one client and another one just sitting around, I was told to come back the next day. Mind you most of the clients were Caucasian and I am a curvy African American female, I had on a head scarf and tights and a white t shirt and honestly I feel like I was racially profiled, I arrived at the salon well over the alotted amount of hours to receive my services, I just want this establishment to know that black people do too because I feel like that was part of the problem. And as an African American I would not recommend you to come here if you want to be treated with respect and dignity.

They did a good job and I was very happy with the way my nails looked but the overall experience was lacking. I felt very rushed and impersonal.

Salon is very nice, however it is quite tacky to stand in a customers face and ask for a tip. The services arent cheap and a customer dont have to tip. I love my nails but pedicure is mediocre because she didnt not scrub or massage enough. For that reason I wont be returning. Them begging for tips was a major turn off. It would also be nice if they spoke in English more

Took 3 hrs for a mani and pedi!! When it was finally my time for my mani I was told they were too busy to give me what I asked for and I should just settle for a gel mani, so disappointing

Ive been going to Figi since it opened about 10 years ago. Its very clean and not pushy to try and get you to do additional services.

Went Saturday for powder dip. 3 days later 2 nails chipped. 2 more days later 5 nails are chipped. Nail tech only did the white powder base coat 1 time. This is not my regular salon. Every time I try this place it never turns out good. Now I have to get my nails done again. Can I get a refund? This service cost too much for it not to last atleast 2 weeks. Only go here if you have no other choice.

It seems like no matter how specific you are, by the time youre in the chair and services begin, they just do what they want. Came for a gel manicure, left with bubble nails...thick layer of powder on my short natural nails natural nails. Keep saying how I want it but they play the language barrier. Then I feel bad. And when its all said and done, you get charged much more for extra steps you didnt ask for and mediocre outcome.This is the last time.

They are usually my go to spot. But this time was horrible. While filing my nails down she continued to keep hitting my cuticles. Once they were done my cuticles were on fire. And have now formed into scabs. I have no choice but to no longer go back

I wish I knew how to rate them. I went in with my daughters and was told to go pick a color. I asked about a marble nail design and if they could do it and was told later. Then they kept talking to each other in their language and never answered my question. After asking again and showing a picture again, I was directed to a chair to start getting a pedicure. Im not sure if they were ignoring my question or if it was due to a language barrier, either way I left.

The staff is rude and unwelcoming, and do not speak much English. I showed a picture of a simple gel French manicure, and they did not understand what I wanted. I had to repeatedly say and show the picture for a simple manicure and they were not nice about it. The nail technician picked my cuticles so much that it caused my one finger to bleed throughout the whole process. It is a day later and I still have a cut on my cuticle. Overall, they were not friendly, and I was not pleased with my French manicure. I will not be returning.

Not enough focus on nail care. If I pay for a specialized manicure...I still want the manicure...not just the extra stuff.

The are clean, theres a pleasant atmosphere and they are quick. They will have multiple working on you and expect you to tip them individually. They are pushy with tipping so bring cash

When you walk into this nail salon, all of the workers just look at you like they dont want to help you. Finally someone comes to offer assistance. I dont like the fact that there gel nail polish almost never match there regular polish. I dont like that most of them cant shape you nails or toes. An my biggest problem is the fact that THEY SAY TIPS ARE MANATORY no its NOT especially if you cant do nails an you want to be an expensive nail salon.

I think they have five stars for many reasons. First, best place for men or women. Fiji Nails & Spa is very splendid and everyone is super friendly. My friends and I get a manicure and pedicure from Fiji Nails & Spa about every two weeks, and it is a great experience every time. Besides, to talk about work late, it does not matter, I love that they stay open late. I often make an apt at 7:30pm of the day and they are open until 9p.m! It is honestly suitable for a busy woman! Moreover, this salon is nice and the staff will treat you great. My nails came out awesome, Lee and her co-worker are always giving my nails look cute and make the trip beautiful. I am already thinking up something more elaborate for next time. Talk about last minute! You should call and make an appointment because this place is busy for crowded. I recommend this place all the way! I will definitely be back and I would refer everyone here

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! I visited this nail salon today with a wedding party; they clearly were over whelmed by our group size(9). We started off getting pedicures but they started to move people to the nail stations without even finishing the toes! I have never been to one nail salon that was confused as to what an AMERICAN MANICURE was attempted to do a person in my party without the pink coating.. the staff is beyond rude and lack customer service. After close to 3 hours I left with just my toes done...I WILL NEVER RETURN

I just got done my eyebrows. I asked the technician to pull a couple hairs from my mole, quick and simple. She charged me an additional $4 for that without telling me. I left very unhappy.

Ive come here several times but this is the LAST time. I walked in and said hello to the man who works here as he swept the floor and no response. I said hello again and still no response. I walked directly to where he was sweeping and he asks what did I want done. I started to walk out but I needed my toes done. They have prompt service and there is usually no wait but they are RUDE. As I was paying for the service, the young lady says 10 plus tip. I said, Im paying $10. She requests a tip again. She walked me out to spray the quick dry and i say i will not pay a tip because you guys are rude. She says not paying a tip is rude. I will never come here again!!!

We actually decided to get a manicure and even though they were very busy, they actually managed to fit us in meticulously for a manicure. It was very relaxing. The manicure was amazing. I chose pink acrylic manicure and she did not rush, she did slowly but carefully.

The worst experience and I will never go back. Went as a walk in for a manicure/pedicure with a friend the day after Christmas. It took over a half hour before we were seen. Okay, understood. After the pedicure, I was asked to pay before the manicure. Not a problem. But when I gave the tip as well, the employee scoffed at the amount. It was nearly 20 percent and on top of that, my nails were already short, polish free and I was only getting a clear coat of polish. I gave her a substantially larger tip but then could understand her complaining in her native language about the amount. The rudest experience I have ever had in a salon! And when I got home, I noticed that the pedicure wasnt the best. There are so many better salons in the area, so there is no reason to ever go back to Figi!

Its a great salon if you dont mind having several different services done at once/ a great place if youre in a rush! Im usually always satisfied with the finished product.

I love coming here because they are consistent with their work. The staffs are gentle, but quick and happy to be there. I saying it is consistent every time, while some places the quality is contingent on the amount of people waiting.

The staff at this salon is very rude and obviously racist. I walked into the salon and with one other person in front of me and was not helped. Additionally, other people kept walking in or walking up to the desk and the salon receptionist assisted all of those people before I was address. All of those people happen to be white and I am an African American women. The salon attendant did not even say Hello when she began working on me. Of course I didnt not leave a tip. I will be back though because I found a place where I will be leaving a tip. Its cheaper 🤷‍♀️

Great place! This was my third time visiting FijiNails & Spa and I always leave happy. The girls are great, very sweet and always listen to requests. They have an excellent selection of colors, both gel and regular. Highy recommend!

VERY impersonal!! Speaking Vietnamese constantly to colleague. Turned head toward door whenever anyone came in an tools on sensitive toes drifted to cause pain until she returned her focus. Extremely annoyed look when I asked for change for a five. I would not have tipped at all but couldn’t bring myself to give less than %20 which was 4 dollars. Ive been coming here for a long time and I usually love them they do really good work but today when getting my change back she took $5 and only gave me $3 back. They have never tipped themselves before and I truely will not be coming back. She also told me that my eyebrows are already too dark for my hair color and that it basically looks bad when theyre dark. Its my decision on how dark I want them and no one elses.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. My nails were done by a man, didn’t catch his name and he had the worst attitude ever. Pretty much felt like l was forcing him to even touch my hand. He did a crappy ass job which sucks, if I’m paying $60 for a service l expect it to be good. Did l mention that he threw my card in my direction after he swiped it? Racist much???? l didn’t see anyone else in this shop get the same treatment. And this was his attitude from the second l walked in.l really need to find a good valuable place to go spend my money where I’ll be more appreciated as a customer.

While there is prompt service and minimal wait tunefor service, much of the staff is dismissive towards customers. The facility is clean and conveniently located with street parking. The hours are accommodating but pricing can be high. My experiences here have been that the staff did not really engage with clients and are not very cordial while providing service. One manicurist made my fingers bleed and was so callous once I brought it to his attention. This attitude this engagement hinder my desire to return to patronize this business.

I think this is the first review Ive ever written, but Ive been there a few times. There was no problem with what I had done but like other people commented; the rudeness. The woman took blatant offense at my tips and sneered at me. I swore Id never go back. Im not the type to complain publicly like this but after seeing similar reviews I hope the people there get the idea and offer kinder service.

I came few times to that salon and always the same story. My cuticle was not removed completely and had cuts all over. The nails look awful because the dont want to cut cuticle and dont move it when I ask so new nails look like two weeks old in 2-3 days! u2029I asked them to redo it in 2 days because it looks bad ( see picture below) they say I have to pay half price again plus tips .....Furthermore they reduce to give me service for the future! u2029The ladies that work in that salon dont speak English and I am sure half of them are not legally here. u2029Its so sad that place like that this ale advantage of people.

The absolutely best place for all things beauty. Getting a mani/ pedi is really the only thing i do for myself to relax, so i am going to do it right! From the minute i walk in, the girls are so sweet as and greet me as if i am the most important person who walked in that day.

Quality gel mani/ pedi. Nothing special in terms of service. Usually rushed and not personable. It also tends to get quite crowded during peak hrs. However, I have always walked in and never had to wait (they staff well to compensate for business). The quality of their work is consistent and worth a visit.

They did a good job on my nails, but I felt like they were very rude. The man that did my nails was talking to the woman who was doing my pedicure and laughing constantly while looking at me and I felt like they were talking about me. Not a comfortable situation. When I was getting my nails painted I accidentally bumped him and he got irritated with me and was not nice about it. I go to the nail salon for a pleasant and relaxing experience, and that was not what I got from Fiji nails. I will not go back again.

It seems to be a very clean place. They have lots of technicians. You could be worked on by 3 people at the same time. I was truly disappointed because my manicure only lasted 3 days.

I feel as tho they pressure their customers into tipping all their staffs. I do not understand their language but laughing at me seems very offensive. My nails were very bad and the lady who did it was asking for tips. I rather go to Wynnewood Nails instead of this trash. I thought I found the right nail place until today. For the most part everyone seemed nice. I my eyelash extentions done their, my nails done, my pedicure, my eyebrows tinted and waxed. And I would usually tip $5.00 for the services done. Well, I noticed as I walked into the nail place that the two girls that does my eyelash extentions and my nails, act like they were not happy to see me like before which made me a bit uncomfortable, so I proceed with getting the service that I needed done, with no conversation like both girls had an attitude. Well as I was finished and was paying the girl who does my eye lash extentions she blurred out, you pay my only $3.00 last time, I think you dont like the eye lash extentions because before you pay me $5.00. I dont think I have ever been so insulted knowing how much money I spent to get the service done and one time I tip $3.00. Which I see other customers tip that amount and no attitude given. I tip her and the other girl who fix one nail and did my eye brows. But the one who did my eye lash extentions I realized she would normally charge me $12.00 to get the eye lash refill, and as I sat down to get my refill she said oh it will be $15.00 this time. I was thinking something is not right. As I left the place she thought she was slick by charging me $3.00 more because she thought I was going to tip her $3.00. Be very careful and pay close attention because the girls in their dont realky care about customer service if they always get a large tip, maybe not everyone can afford to give $5.00 tip each and everytime, but I guess it does not count the time when you can afford to give $5.00 tip with 3 different separate service that you give your hard earn working money to. I will no longer be going their. I will find somewhere else to go to be appreciate my business. The nerve of those two girls. I will not trust this nail place if o was you.

To much pressure for an up-sale on all services. All the staff is chatting and laughing in Vietnamese all around and over you the whole time. Not very relaxing, especially the pushy neck massage woman that just rubs one place only and keeps asking if you want more while yapping with her co-workers in your ear. Felt like a Saigon Brothel
