This is a great barbershop. Mae is professional, friendly, and very accommodating. I am usually in and out in about 20 minutes with a nice cut and a straight razor finish. For $25, I dont think youll find a better spot. I am also looking forward to when she releases her shave cream. Highly recommended.

Best haircut you will ever receive! I have been going to Cut & Shave Barber Shop in Ardmore for over 6 months now and every haircut has been perfection. Could not ask for a nicer Barber or a better haircut. Not to mention the price is hard to beat! Come here if you are looking for the best.

My cuts are always satisfying and the price is appropriate. The stylist is nice but its only her so getting appointments can be difficult, but its always been worth it. Being incredibly local to me adds extra convenience points.

So Im not sure if this is a relevant review. Ive tried going to this place 3 times now. So the first time I went for a haircut I walked in and was told shes closed for lunch, this was around 3 pm. When I asked what time does she usually close for lunch she told me she has no set time.The second time I walked in, she said she has no availability and i had to book an appointment. Later that day I called up and made an appointment at 3 pm for the following day. I ended up running late and walked in at 3:13 pm. She told me due to her having an appointment at 3:30 pm she could only do my hair or my beard trim. So I agreed to do my beard trim. When I asked would she use a safety razor to do a shape up of my beard she said only with the machine. I decided not to go ahead with it.I guess this is a review more of my customer service experience. I think to be honest the person needs to go on a customer service course. The experience i had was very unprofessional and quite rude, to be honest. I seem to get the impression maybe it was just me, i hope Im wrong. It seemed like there was always an excuse.I really do hope she improves her customer service. I dont think i will be going back, its a pity.

I had a great experience at Cut & Shave Barber Shop. The owner, May, did an amazing job cutting my hair and really did detail work that many barbers dont do anymore. I will definitely go back! Highly recommended.

May was incredibly nice and fast. She also did a great job on my hair which is not easy to cut since its so curly. I will be driving from Philly to get my hair cut here again in the future.

Expert barber and wet straight edge shave. I have travelled the world with the Navy and am happy to say the best haircut and shave I have ever had, was here at home. The barber is pleasant, the experience is relaxing and you really cant beat the price!

Tried to walk in on a Saturday morning with one customer in the barber chair and one waiting and was immediately greated by, Can I help you. I asked if I needed an appointment and was told yes and she just had a few people call in and could not help me. The owner was curt and did not even make an attempt to schedule me for a later time.

The woman who cuts hair is very good, but she has quite an attitude, which negates everything else.

The barber seemed surprised that I had come into the shop around 1pm and asked what do you need? as if I wasnt there for a haircut. She mentions to me that she had ben eating lunch and seemed very aggravated that I had interrupted it. She had a constant pissed off look on her face and did not talk to me at all. Although the haircut was good, the customer service was eh and 25$ for a regular haircut was way too much. Nearly 10$ more than the barber shop I went to down the street.

I had an OK experience, the barber was in a lot of hurry. She even told me she messed up my haircut at one point. May be it was just a bad day for her. I will definitely check other places before I return here. I was a little bit surprised especially after reading other reviews.
