The owner or manager is absolutely hateful. The line is always long and the staff is slow. After the way I was treated in there twice I will never go back. Save yourself the headache and drive to Lone Grove or Marietta. Both places are pleasant to deal with.

I can only imagine how difficult it is to 1. Work with the public, and 2. Strictly adhere to state laws while trying to appease your customers. Because of my job, I am in this tag office about a dozen times per year for the past six years. They have been efficient and helpful to me.

They are beyond unhelpful. Called several times to see if there was any information I needed to know about tagging a vehicle, they never mentioned anything about having to make appointments until Im standing infront of the building and they dont have any open times until March

When I walked in there were at least 15 people in line but these ladies were so well organized, I got in and out within 15 minutes and I wasnt the only one. Truly a great experience.

What a spot to NEVER GO. Thank goodness for the internet, Madill OK tag agency and US mail.Going to Ardmore (out of absolute NEED) met again with a two hour bout of explanation of situation to the twins (what is their deal anyway?) Finally got out of there with tag and registration. Really the only reason this place gets one star is for the fine people that do license and have to put up with those twins.........................

These employees are extremely hesitant when it comes time to do their jobs. Combine bad attitudes, incompetence & outdated practices and the result is an AWFUL experience! It’s a surprise that this tag agency is still in business. I would advise against going here and giving them any $$$. Save yourself the time and energy and go to lone grove tag agency. They were extremely professional and pleasant!

Tag agent would not accept online insurance ID even though it listed specifically where (Oklahoma) it was valid.Gave me a # and told me to call and request an email to verify.I don’t work at the DMV so that’s not my job.Went to Lone Grove and clerk ran into the same problem but very easily picked up the phone and called to verify. That’s doing your job!Unhelpful and not up to date with the times.

I have never had a problem as long as I had the proper items I needed. The sisters dont make the rules and its not their fault if people arent smart enough to check and see what they will need before going to the office. Sisters have always been very friendly and its a wonder with some of the people they have to deal with.

Ive been going here to tag my vehicles for 13 yrs. I have never had a problem and the longest it ever took me was 20 mins when they were packed. I see a lot of people without all the stuff they need get mad that they wont make it work with what they brought.

Horrible service the twins that work there must get some sort of sick pleasure on treating everyone badly. Literally took two business days to get my tag. This happened over the weekend so my two days actually was 4 including Saturday and Sunday. They dont take cards even though everyone around them accepts cards. Plus again the twins are horrible with customer service. Oh and they dont take fax in info because its broke so the only way to get your proof of insurance is emailing it and the twins charge you to print it out.

I absolutely hate to give anyone a bad review, but my experience this morning was so frustrating. Just a word of advice to a certain employee, if you dont like your job, please, for the sake of everyone who enters this business, find another one. I know it must be difficult to deal with the public all day, but being rude, even if not intentionally, to your customers wont improve the situation. Hope your day gets better. p.s. Angela was great!

I live within walking distance from here and would rather drive to lone grove. I heard they were terrible, and the rumors are true. Waited 25 minutes in line just to get told they wouldn’t fill out a vin verification form(bm26). Drove to Lone Grove and was out of there in 7 minutes flat with the document filled out and faxed.

The Ardmore tag office is very slow, and they are prone to changing their mind about what documents they require. Transferring my tags took 5 -- yes, 5! -- separate visits, mostly because the tag agents kept changing their mind about what documents I needed to bring. It should not be this hard to register your car!Now I understand why many people advise going to Wilson, Marietta, or Madill instead. Next time I probably will go to one of those offices...

Had to do a vin check which involved them walking outside in a tiny sprinkle. They absolutely would not do it. They said its raining boo hoo Ill get wet whaa whaa. It was just a tiny sprinkle, not that big a deal. You cant walk outside and look at the vin for what?? 1 minute? And get 5 drops of rain on you? Why not? Do they have witches working there? Are you gonna melt?!?!? And I went before lunch. They close at lunch and leave! Bet they dont let the few drops of rain theyll encounter stop them from going to their cars and getting lunch! And what happens if its really pouring outside when they get off?? Will they stay over night from fear of the rain?!!? Most likely not!! I drove 25 miles into town to get this done, just so they could get snotty with me and tell me to bring it back when its not raining. Okay fine, Ill bring it back in August at 2 oclock so you have to walk out in 110 degree heat and you have to sweat. Then I guess youll melt cause youll end up being wet.

I’ve had problems with this tag agency in the past so I just go to the one in Wilson or Lone Grove. My husband isn’t from this area & even though I warned him & told him to go to Lone Grove, he went to pay for his tag & tax on a new vehicle at Ardmore. He took cash, which was good since they don’t accept credit cards & they won’t accept checks if the names aren’t the same on the check & paperwork. It was $2100, but one of his $100 bills had tape on it so they wouldn’t accept it, saying their bank wouldn’t accept it. As someone who has prepared multiple large deposits on a daily basis, if there’s 51% of the bill & the whole serial number, the bank has to take it. Not accepting a bill because it has tape on it is completely ridiculous, but completely unsurprising considering where he was. I don’t know owns this place, but they obviously don’t care that their employees’ behavior has been alienating & inconveniencing the people of Ardmore for years.

Persons complaining about the twins. They dont own or make the rules. Yes they do go by the book. Most the time there so worried about making a mistake and having to pay for it. I dont blame them.I know I couldnt sit there for eight hours .Sometimes its the dealers mistake they catch .As far as the rest employees, I just strike up a conversation and have always been treated with upmost respect.Yes I have had to make trips back and forth before. But now I go prepared. Its just a job the employees have to love, or most would not have survived 40 years. To all employees YOU DO A GREAT JOB

I would give ZERO stars if I could. My fiancé and I tried to go here to register our vehicles after moving to the state and were treated terribly! The two older women were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They would not answer any of our questions or provide further instructions on what we needed to do. Additionally, for the very little information they did provide, we could hardly hear them and they failed to even address us. Overall this was the worst experience we have had thus far in Ardmore and will stay far away from that office if we can help it!

It took 2 trips to get my license transferred from out of state. The 1st time I was turned down because my birth certificate looked too old and I was told to go get a new one and come back.The second trip was frustrating, but the people working with me were much more friendly than my 1st visit. It took an act of congress to prove that I have moved to and am living in Oklahoma. I had several documents as proof: insurance, water company membership, bills ( all with my Oklahoma address) none of it was acceptable for some reason or another.They finally settled on my proof of deed for my property.I dont blame the people here for the difficulty of what should be a simple task, but a little friendlier attitude could make it a little less stressful!Make sure to bring cash or a check, debit cards are not accepted.

This is the most out dated and slow tag agency I have ever dealt with. I have moved quite often for jobs and required re-tagging my vehicle and have never seen anything like this place. They do not have a fax machine nor computers that work. They are not helpful whatsoever and have no common sense when dealing with small problems. It took no less than 8 trips when trying to get my car tagged here, not because I wasnt prepared (quite the opposite) but because of multiple clerical errors on their part. This place is the place that gives the DMV a bad name! Avoid this place at all costs!

I am happy to say that in all the years I have used Ardmore Tag Office I have never had a single problem. I have tagged multiple vehicles there and never had the slightest hang up. The last vehicle I tagged there that was not a renewal but a new purchase I bought out of state and when I purchased it the dealership figured my tax and added it on. I had them forward info to Ardmore and when I showed up to actually complete the tag process they had a refund check there waiting for me. They realized the dealership had overcharged me on the tax and they took it upon themselves to have it completely rectified before I ever even realized it. So I walked out of there with a lil over $300. I like that they allow me to drop off my stuff in the morning and swing back by and pick it up later. I think they get a bad time because people are not prepared....

Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and go to Marietta or Madill tag office. The supervisor/manager women are rude and unprofessional. I guarantee this office will find a reason to have you get more paperwork, come back the next day, etc.... Almost everyone there had an issue. Terrible management!

Unless youre cousin Mable the twins have known since 1957, especially if you need them to comprehend military affadavits or computer generated forms, do not go here. That is unless you have an hour to waste and are in need of a Kafka-esque experience, in which you are transported to a tag agency from the distant past and reality will not intrude. They tried to help, they really did, but couldnt accept that i was active duty military because the officers branch was MI and not Army (though it clearly stated my service branch elsewhere), or that a texas inspection sheet was a computer-generated form where the inspectors name was not printed immediately below the signature. Admittedly, my situation was not the norm (military titling a texas truck in ok), but they couldnt even have it verified by the state bc only the tag agent can use the fax, and the tag agent is not in today. I love small town goodness as much as any okie, and they were sweet, but a tag agency requires a modern understanding.P.S.-went up the road to Norman and had zero issues!
