I had a Groupon for an oil change and the staff was very friendly got it done fast. They recommended I replace my tires and rear brakes. I made an appointment the next week. They were fast and affordable. Great staff and great work. Highly recommended.

DON’T DO IT! I went in for inspection and oil change at the Lansdowne (really Upper Darby) location. I was told I needed my wheel hub bearing replaced. Afterwards my ABS light came on. My breaks sounded awful 😢 Now I have problems I didn’t have prior. Bottom Line After 19 hours,two days off work 3 additional attempts for them to fix it & $395 spent. Another mechanic found a bolt missing and another loose, in my brake caliper housing where they had worked and the old wheel hub bearing they replaced wasn’t broken to begin with.When I asked for a refund they offered to only pay cover the cost of the new bolts. In the process of filing small claims case when calling to get official name and address from the state I was told the only Pennsylvania Tire and Auto registered with the state is the one in Ardmore????? DO NOT go to the Lansdowne location, not competent at best and shady at worst! This was dangerous and honestly, I rarely complain but this experience has been a nightmare!

I visited this place on 9/11/2020 to get oil change and PA state inspection. Even though I live in Center City, I was impressed by the outstanding Google reviews and the good price for oil change and inspection, so I decided to try this shop.During the inspection, I was advised to change all brake pads and rotors as they are rusty. I wasnt sure thats really necessary, but I am not a car expert anyway, and they wouldnt let me pass the state inspection without changing it, so I let them do the job.It took all day to get the job done as it was drop-off, which was okay, but soon after I got my car back, it made occasional squeaking sound. I thought it was due to the new rotor as it tries to get sync with the car, but when I was driving on I-95 on Monday (9/14/2020), the car made weirder sound and shook hard, and I realized that the tire is about to fall off!I called the shop to get my car towed and repaired. I thought maybe I was unlucky. They wouldnt do this lousy job for every car they care, would they? But I got a call from the shop and he asked whether I visited other repair shop in a meantime to see if they can charge me towing & repair fees. They didnt even apologize or concern the inconvenience or life-risking situation I had encountered on I-95. Then I realized that not that I was unlucky, but I chose the wrong shop.

Fantastic experience! I visited this place on 2/17/21. Called in the morning, they had the tire I needed in stock(they had the best price in the entire Philadelphia area). Was able to bring the car over same day to get new tire installed. While there, they checked all of my tires and found that my spare had a slow leak. They repaired my spare free of charge. The mechanics and staff were very friendly. The place was clean and I felt welcome and comfortable. Overall, this was the best auto mechanic experience I have had in a very long time. I will definitely go to them for more care repairs.

This was my second visit to Pennsylvania Tire and Auto in Ardmore. for the annual PA safety and emissions inspection. The experience there was outstanding. In addition to a discount coupon offering the best price in the area, you deal with an outstanding service manager who is personable, efficient and totally focused on providing the best customer experience. It is immediately evident that this man has ethics and honesty. he authorized the replacement of a burned out brake bulb at no expense saving me a repeat visit.. most inspection places hit you for a fee for things they find wrong. I watched the mechanic inspect my car. Totally thorough and competent, This is a high class place to take your car. It gets my highest rating.

After reading some reviews, I decided to go with these guys for a tire repair that I needed done. I called them up in the morning and explained my situation. Guy on the phone, said to bring it in when I could so he could get started on it as soon as possible. When I got there, I met Matt, and he couldnt have been nicer. Always excellent service. I enjoy coming here and trust the staff to honor their word and take care of my car. When I went in for an oil change and was told I needed to change all four tires. I got great deal for the fronts and when I needed to come back to replace the backs over a month later Mike the manager kept to that same deal and even remembered speaking with me. Also when I upgraded cars and didnt know the new car took synthetic oil instead of conventional like my previous car they still honored the groupon I had and I paid the difference. After every service my cat always comes out wiped down and looking like new. They really take care of customers, cars and appreciate repeat business.

I had a state inspection and front brake service done on our Honda Accord. The service manager, Matt Talley was great to work with, and service was completed on time and on budget. Went for an alignment. The alignment was 69.99. for some reason (no fault of theirs) my truck could not be aligned. Something bent in the steering or frame issue. Because of this they only charged me 30. They could have charged me the full price. I would have paid it. But they were honest. Really good people there. I recommend this shop. I will definitely be a returning customer.

We have been looking for a trustworthy auto care center for years, and with PA Tire and Auto, weve finally found it! We have taken both of our vehicles here and have received excellent service and detailed inspections. Most recently, the team discovered an issue with one of our tires during our annual inspection. This issue was caused and subsequently missed by the prior auto care center we had used for tire repair and inspections. Matt took the time to explain the issue in detail to me and suggested the proper way to solve it.I also really appreciate that repairs and inspections are completed so quickly. Every other mechanic Ive been to takes 3x as long as originally promised. Not so with PA Tire and Auto! Well be returning for future service.

I went to this location for the first time for my annual safety and emissions inspection and had such a great experience. When I used to work out in the suburbs, I stumbled upon this place on Groupon and I am so glad I did! Its been almost a year and although I live and work in the city, I am happy to make the trip to the suburbs for Pennsylvania Tire & Autos fair pricing and phenomenal service.I have here for regular oil changes and inspections. Matt is always friendly and explains whats going on with my car in a way that I (someone who is not a car expert and often calls my dad for help translating) can understand.When my car was in need of new brakes, Matt told me exactly how long I could go before needing to get them done and provided me with a fair estimate. I called on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. I was in and out in less than the hour wait time I was quoted.I am so glad I found this spot and I will not take my car to anyone else!

I cant say enough good thing about PA Tire & Auto in Ardmore, PA. They recently plugged two slow leaks in two different cars tires for free that had road construction nails in them, and they did the inspection for my new car. The manager and the employees are super courteous and friendly, and the small waiting area has a Serenade Brewer Starbucks machine that makes coffee, chai lattes, and hot chocolate — for free— to enjoy while you wait for your service. And, when my son picked a snack and I went to pay for it with the inspection bill, they said the snack was on them. Their customer service really is fantastic, and theyre doing the right things since I will definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly! They handled my inspection smoothly and even topped off my tires with some air since it’s been cold out. They are located within the gas station, so you’re able to drop your car off very early and pick it up very late if need be. They’re also a close walk to the Ardmore train station if you need to grab public transportation. Convenience is key and they certainly delivered! :)

I went there recently for my emission and state inspection. Before going there my cars battery got disconnected accidentally. So, they failed my inspection saying theres no computer data in my car and I have to drive another hundred miles before inspection for the car computer to capture more. Then they told me itd be unsafe to drive because the brake pad was bad and some other issues; and gave me a quote of nearly $1,600. I decided not to repair. Today I went for a second opinion to another workshop, they basically found the same problem (so the diagnosis was correct), however they fixed my car for less than $700 including everything - with even oil change. Im disappointed to see that they would charge me more than double to do the same job :(

Stopped by this morning after finding a screw in my tire. No appointment, and first time there. My tire was repaired in 20 min and there was no charge. Will definitely be back!

Owner wouldn’t let me get an inspection because of my insurance card was only a month old. I opted to go green and save the trees meaning I don’t get insurance cards. (which is paper) I told him I can pull it up on my smartphone which he wouldn’t accept. I even offered to show him my Liberty Mutual app which shows everything but his mind was made up that my insurance needed to email or fax it over. I could’ve called and have had that done but there is a wait time to get a Liberty Mutual rep on the line and I had an appointment at 10:15 and people were behind me. Just saved the runaround and passed my inspection up the street at the Sunoco for $55.

I had a nail in my tire and Pep Boys told me it was damaged Beyond Repair. I ordered a tire through Good Year, and was supposed to get it installed here. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, and Matt was super helpful. He helped me get my money back for the tire, and then he went on to patch my tire and didnt charge me. I was unbelievably grateful.A lot of places would have replaced the tire and took advantage of me. I will definitely be bringing my business here in the future and definitely recommend it.

I first brought my car here for an oil change after receiving a coupon in the mail. The guy who is in the office, I believe his name is Matt, is so friendly. The waiting area is clean and they work quickly. Brought my car in yesterday to have my headlight and brake light bulbs replaced and they did it for free. Got a great deal on 4 truck tires and they pre-inspected my truck so there wouldnt be any surprises at inspection time. Friendly service from the service guy Matt/Mike? and it didnt take too long. I was in and out of there pretty quick. Ill be returning for brakes.

The lobby room is clean and has no greasy smell, which is typical in other garages. The manger was nice and the crew fixed my car quickly. Very reasonable price.Our Chevy Spark had a leaking tire. My wife actually first drove the car to another garage near our home. But it was disappointing that they refused to repair (they claimed that they could not find the leaking point) and suggested us replace the tire asking for $150; we declined. I then found this garage and they quickly figured out the leaking spot and patched it. The manager first said the cost was $30, which is reasonable, but to our surprise, when checking out he voluntarily gave us a big discount and we did not pay a penny. Seriously, he did not charge me for patching a tire (probably because this is a new shop and they offer some new-opening discount; I am not sure).But I would say that even if they fully charge me, I would still give five starts for the professional and prompt fix, reasonable price and the clean lobby. I hope they could keep up.

My wife and I were driving when the low tire pressure warning came on the dash. We put some air in the low tire and inspected for the leak. We soon found a bolt stuck in the tread.I am a retIred ASE Master Tech but I don’t have the equipment any longer to address this problem. We are also somewhat new to tHe area with familiar repair shops being in NJ. called to let us know that the tire was fixed. Everyone we met there was friendly and professional. It seems the entire city, and its suburbs, are under a reconstruction program.Matt, and his repair shop in Ardmore came highly recommended by a friend. And, they did not disappoint! I needed some extensive work (upper and lower ball joints, motor mounts, rear axle seals, and rear shocks). And, after their magic, I am driving a new Jeep! Thanks Matt, steering and suspension are now steady, and tight! You can count on me being a repeat customer!

This place used to be a good one, but NOT anymore, I just had an oil change, my car was making a loud noise, I pulled over and checked... they forgot to put the oil tank lid... this is NOT a simple mistake but a serious one, it could have caused me my engine... this place got busy from the business they start getting from Groupon and quality went DOWN and the price went UP... not a good experience... Was driving and got a flat tire. Pulled into PA Tire & Auto. It was clearly a busy Saturday, but Matt got me in and out in under an hour!Then two weeks later, another flat (bad luck). Pulled into PA T&A again. It was a slow day. Matt was again there. Got me on my way in less than 15 minutes !Strongly recommend.Will be bringing car in for service.Aaron

I had a great experience with a car inspection in. A welcoming place, offers free bottled water and soda. Has wifi. I was in and out under the time I was given. AND they didnt come back finding all sorts of costly repairs I needed to pass inspection!

Ok. 1st time went there was a really sweet guy that was nice & friendly. This time the was an older gentleman who think was owner n he was nice w 1 or 2 patrons, even offering them to grab a drink for free, but didnt extend same offer to me or others. Had a groupon and said could choose either conventional or synthetic but said that wasnt an option anymore and ended up paying $50 for an oil change. Service is fast. Need nicer waiting area

Dont go if out of town with a coupon. They failed me even though the car had hardly been used since prior inspection. Of course they were not believable. So I went to another inspection place and now have my inspection sticker. They try to get a good review from you. If you have a complaint they have you call a different number instead. When no resolution was accepted by me, Their nice demeanor turned nasty & wanted to threaten the honest dealer whom inspected my car and passed it. Thank you

One of the rare instances in which I felt satisfied with the service received from a vehicle servicing center. Usually, I go to the firestone nearby, where I am used to rude agents who almost always seem annoyed at me for bringing my vehicle in for a pre-scheduled appointment. At PA tire, the agent at the reception, Matt, was more than happy to accommodate me even though their system had not properly recorded my appointment. In spite of that, I was out within an hour, with my new inspection stickers. There was no up selling, just honest service. I cannot recommend them enough. Will be my default stop for any vehicle repair/service requirements here after.

E X C E L L E N TI got referred to PTAA from a family friend, they told me that it is a reliable shop to go too and they won’t charge you up like a lot of places do, long story short I dropped my car off before I headed out to vacation for some work, sadly i has work that same day and was in the midst of calling an Uber and Matt told me there is no need too and that one of his clerks can drive me ! that SAME day Matt (manager) called me to let me know I could come pick up the car whenever. Now I went in with a shaky unsafe Chevy Malibu, like it was shaking so hard it would spill your drinks. Not only did Matt and his team know exactly what it was but they also had it done in amazing time. Matt also Literly walked me through and even drew out an image of what was wrong with the car to help me understand, what he was doing and what I was getting fixed. My car rides SO SMOOTH to the point where it feels brand new ! Everyone there is extremely polite from MANAGMENT down to clerks. I HIGHLY recommend him for anything from tires to the extreme, thanks again guys I really appreciate you !

Chirag the tire guy is a good dude. The tire blew out on my girlfriends car that they previously replaced for the same side wall blow out, I brought the wheel to them and they took care of it no problem and worked with me to get it covered under the road hazard warranty and even smoothed out the gouge in the rim no charge.

I took my gmc truck here for lower ball joints brakes oil change and they got everything done for a reasonable price and got it done within a couple hours suspension and brakes feels back to normal every one was nice and I was offered free drinks or coffee thanks guys you will b seeing my truck again for any further service
