If you want to work with a disagreeable, slow, and inconvenient escrow company that operates like its the 1970s, Premium Escrow is for you.Aside from the snooty impatient attitudes of the people who work here, they require you to sign everything as actual hardcopy documents and then they charge you $65 to overnight mail those docs to you...when I KNOW in fact that you can DocuSign these documents. Yes, Im a first-time home buyer, so Im new to this, but I was in escrow on a house earlier -- via Glen Oaks Escrow (great company, they were really nice and easy to work with) -- and Glen Oaks was totally OK with online signed documents. My escrow ended up being delayed by almost 2 weeks because my hardcopy signed documents got lost in the mail (which made me very uneasy because they have all my personal information in it). Ultimately I had to convince the sellers realtor to pay for a free overnight shipping label for me to resend the documents...after I had to print all 20 pages out myself. Talk about a pain in the a** that could have been easily avoided.Anyways, these people are rude jerks who wont make the home buying or selling process any easier.I HIGHLY encourage you to do your business elsewhere. If I had been able to choose a different escrow company, believe me, I would have.
I dont understand the opinion of the first review. Lysette and Celsete have always been commensurate professionals with me. Their reputation in our community is outstanding.Right down to it, I just dont see any other place Id go to for escrow services. Period.Jay
Lysette at premium escrow was the most unprofessional escrow officer I have ever dealt with I’m my 16 yrs working in real estate. Will never work with her again!
