We needed an appliance hand truck to move a freezer in our garage. They dont cost much - $10 for a local use. The owner just loaned it to me, no charge, because the paperwork and time to do a $10 rental costs more than just building good will with locals. I really appreciate the way Rob Roy Storage does business, and I highly recommend them.

These guys are really really helpful.After calling several other U-Haul locations in Santa Cruz and Soquel, I was so shocked at how professionally Damien answered the phone, I was speechless for a moment. So speechless that he thought I wasn’t on the line. :) And he turned out to be so helpful, that even though I may need a bigger truck than they have, I’m actually considering getting a smaller truck from them if I have to, and making 2 trips, since I’m local to Aptos, and my move is local too. At least I wouldn’t have to worry about dealing with some of the unpleasant and seemingly shifty people at the other locations, almost all of whom have terrible reviews, and were incredibly difficult to deal with already on the phone. I’d rather make 2 trips than get ripped off. So thank you Damien, for the helpful and pleasant experience!
