I’ve had a great experience since the first time I walked through the door! All the staff are helpful and polite. They keep the gym clean and sanitized. They also have more workout classes available and in session than other gyms. With each new member, you get a free orientation with a trainer. I did not think I needed a trainer when I sat down for the orientation but as I listened I realized it would be a good fit for me! I now have someone accountability in play, someone to help guide me through a proper diet, workouts made for me by the trainer (for all my workout days, not just the days I meet with him) AND this is helping me become more comfortable moving around the gym and more knowledgeable about the equipment! This is what I needed to get myself into a healthy new habit! My Trainer is Jarad. He’s great! Knowledgeable, listens and makes very good eye contact when communicating, you can tell he’s invested in helping me reach my goals!If you are thinking about joining a gym or thinking you need to get into better shape, come to Experience! You will love the way you feel after your first few workouts!

This seems like a really nice gym but unfortunately the location didn’t work out like I had planned (I had hoped to stop in on my way to work but with school drop off it was cutting it too close). The sales team was very good at talking me into signing up and assured me I “could cancel at anytime”- however they failed to mention there was a 7 day cancellation period. So when I went to cancel the day before my membership renewed I was still charged the next months fees because it wouldn’t take effect until 7 days later. VERY disappointing.UPDATE: following this post the manager Ryan reached out to me and is willing to refund my dues. He was very kind and understanding. I would love to see this type customer service from all the employees.

Great gym! Good price for a quality exercise facility. Love that they offer classes, a pool, full locker rooms, and trainers. My only complaint is that it’s constantly busy, but not the biggest deal!

Was in dire need of an Olympic lifting setup. Got that and a salt water pool with plenty of room for accessory movements. Staff is super genuine and knowledgeable across the board. Never got the vibe that I was just a membership fee. It seems like a globo gym from the outside but it’s not. 10/10.

Great gym, everything is clean, staff is nice and helpful.But a lot of the equipment is broken and out of order. Lack of hours is another concern..Will give 5 stars if these things are fixed.

Used to be open 24 hours. I understood with them having limited hours with Covid but now someone that works there recently told me that they probably wont be switching back to the 24 hour schedule. Will look elsewhere for a gym membership and will most likely cancel. Open only until 10 on weekdays and only till 8 Friday, only till 6 on weekends. Just ridiculous...

The water aerobics class is super fun and a great atmosphere!Unfortunately, most of the young men at the front desk seem extremely unfriendly when they are asked questions which is really sad since they are the face of the business when you first walk in. It just makes it seem extremely unwelcoming which is not what you want for a gym.

Hours are bad, the gym is not very clean and has a consistently bad smell, the dividers in the bathroom are broken and flopping around. In addition, it looks like someone took a jack hammer to the parking lot, so be careful of potholes. The showers have mildew on the curtains. They have a ton of staff members that seem to sit around at computers rather than take care of the place. I do not recommend.

Nice faculty with good equipment but you have lost my business for good! As others have also stated that it is hard to cancel your subscription! I was charged for an extra month after they have already closed their gym due to covid. Couldnt even cancel it and then they didnt even notify their customers when they reopened and I was charged again til they closed my account, sent me a email Were going to send your account to collections. Love your company code of conduct!

Always a clean gym to go to, the staff, Kevin L specifically, is always friendly and gets me pumped up for my workout based on his overall attitude. Also, they have plenty of weight training and cardio equipment to meet everyone’s workout needs.

XF is paying for and soliciting reviews.You should not have to contact XF directly to cancel a membership. Company needs to modernize their account management in a manner that allows members to set the parameters of their membership with no human interaction and back off on the malicious marketing strategies. XF is known for cutting any corner they can to abuse the trust of their members.While the facilities are... okay... (perhaps too ambitious and large for the the grossly underpaid employees to upkeep) their technical development is roughly 30 years outdated. Shame. Another business with great potential that is mishandled by greedy and apathetic upper management and owners.I recommend you go somewhere that values it’s employees and spends the money to stay up to date with industry advances.

Im really unhappy with the inconsistency in hours of operation. Every other gym in the area is back to 24 hours but not this one. You guys also have only 2 TVs working out of like 10 at all times. I get that Im not there to watch TV but its an amenity at a gym that I pay for. NBA Conference Finals are on and I thought Id watch some sports while I run, guess I cant even do that.. They already limit their hours, now they have to limit other things.

As far as a typical gym this is outdated and old. It has everything you need to stay fit and in shape but again, everything is old. Weights are ALWAYS scattered around each bench, machine, and beyond. There are various brands of plates. I believe gyms should have uniformity simply because every manufacturer has different specifications. Open space but limited space. Just think of going to the bathroom to workout. Enough room to workout but not a lot of room to move around. Lots of people around 4-7PM but that’s not a surprise at any gym. They say its $10 but there’s a joiner fee. Then after 2 months they charge you for an “annual supply fee” which is $50 so it came out to around $40 just for 2 months. Just letting you guys know ❤️

It’s a great clean and positive environment

The facilities are fine its a gym its not the taj mahal. But they make it virtually impossible to quit. You either have to log on to their system which I cannot find on their website or submit in writing that you wish to quit. I spent over a year going back and forth before I was informed I could submit a letter in writing to quit.

BUYER BEWARE! They make it impossible to cancel your membership without a bunch of fees and nonsense. Theres no one available to help, just a bunch of automated systems that lead to nowhere. If you talk to a person at the location; they tell you they cant do cancellations... but they can sure sign you up. I was literally told, if we processed cancellations here; thats all we would do all day. Thats not good. Its also never a good sign when the manager tells you they cant say for sure that someone at the number theyre telling you to call will even be available to help, but they can recite some WI law about how long you have to cancel memberships. Unreal. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know to stay away. This company clearly looks for any way they can to take advantage of their members and soak every dollar they can out of you. Stay away!

Loved signing up! Courteous and quick, I really appreciated that there was no badgering to get us to upgrade or sign up to classes or personal training or anything. Just listened to what we wanted and got it done for us ASAP!

The local staff are great but corporate is horrible to deal with. They are big on pushing “no contract” when signing up but make it almost impossible to quit.I go to the front desk and they give me a corporate number, I call the corporate number and they give me the financial companies number to call. This place can’t even find my account and that takes about 30 minutes. After they find it they say I need to go online and make an account it close it there. I’ve been redirected 3 times already and who knows if this will even work. Would not recommend joining here.

I just came in today for my first time. I was welcomed right away! Noah was awesome and so supportive. He gave me a tour of the building, answered any question I had and got me all signed up. Then he introduced me to a trainer named Mary. She was so positive and encouraging. Also, Mary was even willing to come in on her off days to get me started. That’s pretty special. I have a good feeling that I will be able to reach my goals at Xperience Fitness.

I have been going to this gym for almost 7 years. I have had a trainer the whole time. And while that is expensive, Trainer Dan has motivated me, switched up my workouts and held me responsible. I have been able to lose weight and keep it off! He is always teaching me about food and eating. Other than training with Dan, I also love this gym because they are constantly improving the equipment and the classes. I started taking Q class in April and I LOVE IT!!! I love seeing my heart rate while Im working out. Its a tough workout that makes you feel like youve accomplished a lot! (I attached a screenshot of my Q workout, showing my % effort of my heart rate)One last thing about this gym is the people! The employees are always friendly, but the gym goers are the best part. Some days I dont get much done because Im talking. I always look forward to seeing happy people who care!

We joined Xperience this June and have been happy with the Appleton location. Staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment and facilitaties are clean and well maintained.

Im so glad I joined. Im 51 as of the day in writing this, and 247 lbs. After 3.5 years in a cubicle and a back into two winters ago,I needed to do something to get back in shape. This gym has been such a positive experience for me! People who work there have gone out of their way to learn my name. Ive been challenged but at that sweet spot where its not too hard but definitely harder than if have pushed myself.The physical appearance of the gym is excellent. Clean, well lit, music is playing but not blaring. Lockers room is a tad small. The stream room is excellent. Highly recommend that after a workout.They encouraged me to buy the highest level but werent pushy. Hey, its a business, its there to sell services and products. Cant fault them for trying. But they didnt push so hard as to be annoying.Im really glad I joined. I feel better after two weeks. Physically, yes, but not just that! Winter blues are not kicking my butt any more. I feel a lot better!!

I am a member at Wisconsin Ave location. I was billed during lockdown while my account was frozen. I spent way too much time on the phone with the financial company trying to sort it out. Also talked to the manager at the physical location. He said there would be a refund. Well that was over a month ago and no refund. Majority of customers not wearing masks while I was there. As long as you wore a mask when you walked through the door it seemed like they didnt care if you kept it on. I will be canceling my membership.

I received an email at the beginning of June saying join for free by June 15th. There are no specific details saying that it only applies to specific membership levels. I joined and was charged a $50 processing fee. I brought this to their attention and am now being told that this doesnt apply to the level of membership that I chose, that my level typically pays a $99 processing fee and the promotion for that level was that the processing fee was only $50, mind you none of this was specified in the email. This is just false advertising to get people to join!!Plus it took my actually going to the facility to even get someone to answer my concerns. I left several voice messages for corporate but got no responses.Other than this the facility is great.

So far so good. I just signed up today and haven’t had the opportunity to explore the gym yet. What I do know is I enjoyed the staff in Appleton & I’m excited to get started on my fitness journey.

Theyre promoting people should come to the gym and not wear masks, during a public pandemic. Imagine if theyre this irresponsible with your safety now, just how careless theyll be when no one is looking.....

I met with Kevin and he was fabulous. Made sure I understood what I was signing up for and what was offered at their gym. Very friendly and great attitude; I could tell he really wanted to help.

I used to have a membership at Planet Fitness, but would come to this facility with my wife on the weekends and absolutely preferred everything about Xperience vs Planet. The layout for the equipment is better, there’s much more equipment, there’s actual barbells for deadlifts and squats instead of just Smith machines, and the amenities are better. Plus the staff seems much nicer! No regrets making the switch!

Just signed up today. We have a busy schedule and they accommodated that very well. Friendly staff and very helpful. Looking forward to working out.

I love this gym! I have lost over 100lbs working with the awesome team of trainers and instructors! Everyone is so friendly, Donny, the manager is always right there to help you with anything you might need. Also, parents, the kids club is AWESOME. My kids beg me to take them to the gym with me! This place is very conveniently located. It has an array of equipment and space for multiple styles of lifting; from the bigger that would prefer machine work, and cardio equipment, the the advanced lifter looking for racks, and platforms.Ive been a member of this gym since it was a Golds gym (2009). I have seen a tremendous level of improvement, not just in the facility, but in the staff.One of the most impressive aspects of this gym is the staff. From top down, these guys and girls are committed to improving the service of their members, as well as themselves. They train regularly, interact with the members regularly, and approach the members very respectfully.

Very dedicated staffs. They work with smiles on their faces and provide good deals... there are many more positive things you can find there... go find out!!

I’ve been working out at the Xperience Fitness in Appleton off Wisconsin for about 7 years now.Their GM is a super genuine and friendly guy who is passionate about his gym and his clientele. He is continuously trying to improve the club and adapt to the needs of its members.I’ve become close with the personal trainers and employees of this gym. They are extremely knowledgeable and won’t hesitate to help you with any questions you may have when it comes to nutrition and fitness.I couldn’t ask for a better place to escape from the world and focus on my fitness.

Great place to go. Staff is very friendly and Kevin Locke is a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable patient and definitely easy to talk to. Guys go to Kevin hes awesome! Id say for what you pay you get your moneys worth there.

In my opinion this is the best Xperience fitness location in the Fox Valley/Green Bay area. Favorite thing about this location is the Steam Room and the Hoist machines. The staff is always very friendly, regardless of the time of day/ night.

Xperience is so much more than a gym. It has become a family. I have met so many different people, all with different goals. But, we all share the same thing and that’s to live a healthier lifestyle. We all seem to encourage each other. Xperience is a great atmosphere loaded with free weights, machines, cardio, pool and, classes. A great place without the high cost of other gyms.

Good gym for the location. What I liked the best were the super friendly people that worked there. Made me feel comfortable while I was there and very helpful with the questions I had.

Great staff; very friendly and welcoming! Smelly and unclean atmosphere! The ladies locker room smells like a sewage yard, and there always water all over the sink counter that you cant set anything down on without getting soaked! Even the hand dryer has a stench that you have to hold your breath!! It works, could be cleaner and smell better though! I prefer Menasha’s space more, cleaner and more spacious! A little concerned about the safety measures of the kid zone, as all you do is drop your child off and put your name and their name on a sheet, no sticker or wristband to link you to your child, a little worrisome there, anyone could come in looking like me and take a kid home😓

Nolan did an excellent job showing me around the fitness center! It was cool that he set me up with someone to learn more about what proteins to help build muscle. Thanks for the membership. I look forward to doing some weight training.

Every day when I get to the gym I am greeted, by name, by the manager Donny or someone on his staff. It’s a clean facility and you cannot beat the price. I’ve paid 5 times more per month at other gyms just to battle for time on machines or having to schedule lap assignments days ahead of time. I am more than pleased with Experience

Experience Fitness has been an amazing gym! I joined in January and everyone there has been extremely helpful and friendly. Whether I am working out on the machines or swimming in the pool, everyone seems to want to see me succeed in my journey to a healthy lifestyle. Ive purchased a membership here a few different times, as Ive moved out of state and back a few times. This gym has a great atmosphere for people who are just starting to work out, and for people who are experienced and would like to go to a serious gym. The facility has been expanding its offerings for years, and theyve recently converted sections of the facility to keep up with growing fitness trends. Aside from the great workout you can get with the vast selection of equipment, this facility and the staff work hard to keep it clean and respectable. The child-care staff is extremely competent, and have been great with my son since we got him his membership at 3months old. Overall, this location caters to a lot of people, and given enough time, youll see a lot of the same people time and time again.

I bought a day pass to Xperience while in Appleton for a family function. The front desk staff was helpful and didnt hard sell me on a membership the way some gyms do. I ran a few miles on the treadmills, used some weight machines and finished off with the steam room. All of those facilities were well maintained, uncrowded and more than adequate for me.Where Xperience really won me over was with their customer service. I left my swim suit and garmin watch in the lobby accidently on my way out. The staff was great about mailing my suit and watch back to me. They sent the watch even though I hadnt asked about it and didnt know it was missing! Needless to say, if I lived in Appleton, Id be a member here. If Im back in Appleton again. Ill be coming back. Thank You!

This gym is the king of harassment. Will call, email and text you after you cancel you membership. Saying you owe money and you are required to pay 2 months in advance the day you sign up! So I gave my notice nearly a month in advance. To the general manger Danny. Yet still getting emails everyday. This gym is over crowded always. The weights are never where they should be. Stuff is broken or run down. The front desk staff are rude and most of the time act like they are too good for the earth. Getting paid 8-10 bucks a hour. Real big shots! Trainers when not training get the same too. So a bunch of no bodies! Yet non of them have time or are too good to clean up the gym. They all just stand up front flapping their gums to each other. Crunch fitness is the place to go! Always clean and the staff are amazing! Don’t waste your money! You will never get the work out you deserve!

Nice facility but shady pricing structure. $9.99 per month sounds good but theres a 39.99 annual fee to pay, which makes the real price more like $13.30 per month, which isnt bad but it just rubs me wrong to run a business that way. My credit card # also recently changed because it was lost. Forgot to update it with them so my monthly payment was delayed by 5 days. They hit me with a $20 late payment fee over this.

Its awesome. I had a personal trainer at one point and I achieved some of my goals. A gym is a gym, either you are there to succeed and reach your goals or to watch others do it. Love the rate and child care

Very busy place with small locker rooms. I started off the with higher level membership intending to use a lot of the classes. When I wanted to downgrade to the basic membership I was informed there would be a fee to downgrade. My next response was is there a fee if I cancel my entire membership? There was not. Therefore, I cancelled over the summer and picked it back up in the fall. Never join when you have to pay the joining fee. They have lots of promotions where you can join for $1. They also refused to change any of the 7 large televisions to the Wisconsin Badger Basketball Game when they were playing in the Big 10 Tournament. Since they got rid of the personal televisions on the treadmills I had no way to watch the game. Very disappointed that this gym seems to avoid using common sense.

Great price. Have full membership so can use all the amenities including other locations. Cons are the people at the check in desk are dumb as a box of rocks. Ive been a constant gym goer to this facility from its Golds Gym days, nothing has changed but the name. I come to the gym to get some light cardio in, and to mainly lift weights, I dont have a complaint in neither department. The locker rooms could be bigger, but its minor with comparison to going to the Y, or to Planet Fitness, feel out of place every time I go to either facility. I come to this gym to workout, not worry about the customer service, Im in my headphones the majority of the time, so no use in talking anyways. In the Fox Valley, I would recommend this gym to anyone who wants to workout and handle there business and leave, not sit around and talk, its not a coffee shop.

I seriously don’t know where the people who are leaving reviews saying the staff is mean or unprofessional are working out at, but it’s not Xperience.Every single time, and I mean Every Single TIME, I walk through the doors, there is always at least one staff member there to greet me & say “hello”. I’ve walked in before where a staff member behind the desk was assisting another guest & someone from the sales area stands up to smile & welcome me. It’s something small, but it stands out to me.Secondly, I read a couple things on here about canceling memberships being a nightmare. It’s not. I promise you, it’s not. I cancelled a few years ago to go to Planet Fitness only because it was closer to where I was living. Even back in 2015; I walked in, asked to cancel, & they were respectful with helping me. It took less than 5 minutes from walking in to walking out to have it cancelled.NOT SURPRISINGLY......I came crawling back. Planet Fitness is not a gym. Don’t call it that. Lessons were learned. Xperience Fitness is a true gym & the staff & facility were the biggest reasons I came back. The bathrooms are cleaned, the locker rooms are kept up, I’ve witnessed the showers being SCRUBBED on a few occasions. Yes....Scrubbed. I know. They won’t go to your house to scrub your own....I’ve asked.Give them a chance & you won’t be disappointed.

I signed up initially for a membership at Golds Gym which turned into Xperience Fitness while I was still a member.(without notice) I attempted to cancel my membership first through the gym directly then after being forwarded to their administrative office I was greeted by a voicemail when I called EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS DAY! My phone calls were NEVER returned. Only after searching the web for cancellation information, I found a specific website the company uses to cancel memberships after reading user feedback. One lady informed me she retained an attorney to deal with Xperience Fitnesss charging SCAM.. I submitted my cancellation request and my bank account continued to be charged for months! Only after contacting my bank and filing a dispute were the charges stopped.How does one define theft? Taking without permission? I was NEVER refunded!!!Aside from the financial complaints I and many others have, the gym is WAY OVERCROWDED! 2 Golds Gyms were closed and combined into one facility. They sign up as many people as they can and the locker rooms are standing room only(if you can find an open locker) OVERCROWDED!As one might assume, this is not a good experience but what else can you ask for when they dont have towels and the membership costs 10 bucks per month?

Great gym! Staff is friendly and accomadating. Good free weight set up. Overall good layout. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

They call too much. I gave a few referrals and they said the sales reps are annoying and wont take no for an answer. Great for business but bad for image. Sanitizing wipes and sprays look cheap and watered down. Bathrooms can use extra attention for the premium price we pay. Just a thought. Id give it 5 stars if they these issues.

I live out of town and come for a month to visit family. Always come here for their flexible service and great staff. Sam was so helpful!
