So happy I got to show my friend this place the selection of just the alcohol here was the size of like a (Joann fabrics store) lol she was pretty amazed when I told her this was a grocery store and nothing like a (Walmart) the selection here of foods has always been wonderful. When I lived here 15 years ago I loved shopping here. It was not a disappointment coming back thank you so much!

Im giving it a four because they do have a good selection of items. But its almost kind of Overkill. Also if youre like me with a type of social anxiety disorder absolutely you do not want to go here. People are scurrying around like mice in a junk pile😲😁 its a good store with low prices and a great selection

This is my go-to grocery store! Always have the items I need and dont need. Large selection of everything from wine to cheese and organic to vegan. Prices are also very competitive or even lower then local grocery stores. The one and only slight issue, the carts on the tile floor 😬 Otherwise always have a great experience and the employees are always helpful, especially when you cant find something.

Love woodmans. But dont love the price hike.. like other stores. Prices go up and then cant afford to go there. Woodmans was my go to store FOREVER because there prices were more reasonable

Truly amazing variety. Not only do they have the most comprehensive selection of cheeses anywhere, they have more frozen pizza than Ive ever seen in one place. In fact, they have more organic/natural frozen pizza than some markets have frozen pizza.

My first visit to Woodman’s. I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality of their fruits and vegetables. Their shelf’s are nicely stocked and I found everything I was looking for. I go through check out only to find out they didn’t accept my credit card. Hate they dont take all credit cards. Had to use my debit card, which I haven’t used in a while. Two days later I’m getting called from my bank that my debit card has been compromised. This was the only place I used my debit card. Might be nice if you added some additional credit cards to be outed at your establishments.

It was good but the problem was I couldnt make payment with my Credit card. I had to pay cash. One can only pay by Debit, Discovery credit card or cash, not to my liking.

This store would be perfect if the fresh produce was better maintained. They have almost anything you can think of, and almost every brand. Multicultural isles are awesome too. Im a little sick of trying to pick through moldy veggies and fruit just to find the one box of deceivingly good looking strawberries, only to have it go moldy the next day in the fridge.

The snack selection is probably the best for any grocery store Ive been to... Beer selection is amazing as well.

This store is always busy. They have good prices on some things like boxed food and hashbrowns noodles etc. They have a huge candy isle but I was disappointed the sugar free chocolate is more expensive than other stores. They have a decent amount of motorized carts for disabled and the elderly. I love this store

This used to be our go to for groceries. As of late the people coming to shop are the reason we have stopped coming. Everyone shopping is rude and inconsiderate of others, which is par for the coarse these days.The staff that we interact with are usually grumpy, I can imagine since they have to deal with rude customers.Im told I HAVE to shop her versus other stores due to the prices being so much better. I disagree, its not worth the hassle.

Has a great selection at a great price. The liquor department is probably one of the best in the county with amazing prices. The staff here are always friendly and very helpful.

The only reason I gave Woodmans two stars is because they are open 24 hours and in a good location. The store is dingy feeling and not at all a bargain. You do not get your moneys worth here.

Love this store!...has tons of varieties of stuff to choose from. The store is always busy during the day but understandable! For those who complain about the signs at the entrance door and having to pull your mask down to identify you. Its plain and simple people it aint gonna kill you to follow one simple rule and if you dont like it theres the door out! But trust me you wont be disappointed shopping here! ❤

I love Woodmans. They always seem to have what I need with a better variety, and their produce is wonderful. I love their dairy. Well kept, clean and organized grocery. And, their prices are much better than other stores in the area.

Tonight was the last straw. My wife came home in tears because she went into the Appleton store with her sisters and between the 3 of them they purchased several hundred dollars of groceries. They were still checking out the second order, and my wife was accused of attempting to steal a bottle of pop that was not rung up on the first order. The employee was rude and way out of line.In the past, we have encountered stock that was out of date because things were not rotated properly, clearance items not priced and when we asked about them, I was accused of damaging the package to try to get it cheaper, as well as staff who were generally rude. I have been a regular customer for many years, but I am finished with this store.

Woodmans is the largest grocery store Ive ever been in. Thought it was well run and taken care of. If you cant find it then you dont need it. Prices are comfortable to some Warehouse clubs and able to get smaller quantities then at a club. I would shop there again when Im in the area.

We have been shopping here for years. Literally, the only thing we dont like is that it seems to be busy no matter what time or day we go. They have pretty much everything you could ever need. They have a great vegan selection.

Got to have a list and allotted time or you can spend the day. A lot of good food .

Ive shopped at Woodmans for years and love that I can get anything I need there. Ive been pleased to notice how well your managers handled mask-less guests and have felt safe shopping. We went shopping last night and saw many people not wearing masks. I stopped shopping at Fleet Farm because they dont require masks and I will stop shopping at Woodmans if this continues.

The cashier was extremely rude to me, I didn’t realize that I needed to check out grocery items in a different area than the liquor side, then wouldn’t sell my alcohol to me because a person I walked in the store with was in the self check out area in the main part of the store. Extremely disappointed in your employees customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Went shopping there. No mask mandate or enforcement of six foot rule. Most customers werent wearing mask, neither were their young children.Had an altercation with an unmasked man that invaded my space at the checkout. Called store and spoke to Josh to complain. I am fully vaccinated but still dont think people should be on top of you whether they are vaccinated or not. I am very disappointed with Woodmans now since they are one of the few grocery stores that does require masks in this area.

Appleton has good supermarkets. Woodmans is notable for the huge selection and low prices. The atmosphere is efficient and consistent, but not impersonal. The staff, if asked, take time to help.

Its a grocery store. What should you expect?How about not being chased through the store? Friendly, competent employees? Cleanliness?No, lets just keep alienating our customers! Pretty soon theyll be telling you what you have to buy.Take your pick of ANY other store and you will have a better experience.We ended up getting one thing that was on sale and then going to Festival to get the rest of our supplies. Our family will never step foot in this filthy hole again.

Needs a Fresh Meat & Seafood Market instead of just pre-packaged & frozen meats & Seafood

Shopping here is great. There is a variety of foods from all different countries. My family likes the selections from the Hispanic and Asian sections. It can be a bit overwhelming to shop here because its so large. I like the check-out area because I just leave my stuff in the cart and they scan everything as they take it out for you.

The girl at the liquor department checkout didnt believe who I was in my photo and asked me to pull down my mask in a pandemic since she cannot properly read someones id. The pic is 6 years old so its not surprising I dont have the same hair color or the same weight. Im glad she is following procedures at checking IDs however not a good idea to ask someone to pull down their mask and then scrutinize them for looking slightly different in their Id pic. The one star is for the selection for diverse and local brews being available. But I wont go back after this nonsense.

Theyre employee owned, what more can I say? Only thing that could have made my experience better is if pur Prometheus, Phil Woodman, was my cashier.

LITERALLY everytime I come here, I get everything I need. This store is so AMAZING. Im from the south, and it was hard to find another grocery store I thought could compete with my hometown Kroger and THIS IS THE ONE. I always have an awesome customer experience, and I never leave without things I need! Youre selection is SO vast and I find myself trying new things! LOVE LOVE LOVE how you sell local foods as well. Do you think maybe they would thank me for pointing this out to them, but instead they treated me like I was ripping them off.I have shopped here for years but now I think I am done. If you have a picky diet this place is great because they have EVERYTHING. I eat keto and they have soooo many low carb options. Check out is FAST. Dont go there when youre hungry haha. Open 24 hours so you can shop whenever! It can get really busy on the weekends and you might find yourself stuck between shoppers.

I love woodmans! Its always pretty busy, so expect to be there a long time. Wear a mask! If you dont and get to the register, they politely let you know they can not check you out. They have the biggest selection of pretty much any food Ive ever eaten or wanted to eat. Prices are, Id say average, so its a win win.

Were fairly new to Wisconsin and Woodmans is a sight to behold! I had no idea a grocery store could even be this big! The quality and variety are superb.

I like the bigger grocery store, they have brands other stores dont have, the variety is outstanding. The employees are friendly, and knowledgeable to where items are located throughout the large store. The only complaint I have is they dont accept charge cards.

Hugely disappointed that reusable bags arent allowed right now - even at self checkout. The amount of waste that comes from the production and use of plastic/paper bags is a major problem, and COVID is not spread primarily by touching surfaces!Masks are strictly enforced here, however, and youll find the widest array of groceries; there is even an attractive sushi bar back by the deli department. Unfortunately, most of the products sold here are packaged (excluding some of the produce).Woodmans has always been commendable for offering local products and decent prices. This location in particular is beautiful on the inside. However, we are unlikely to return until the reusable bag situation is countermanded.

Unbelievable selection of groceries, very large store, but extremely busy and congested when visited midmorning Sunday. Long lines, unless using the self - check out. Nice Liquor store attached, that also has a large variety of products.

Decided yesterday to try shopping here. As I drove up I was disappointed to see a sign on the door that says, No mask, No Shield, No service. This is probably the most obnoxious sign mask required sign Ive seen. While its the owners and managements own decision how to run their own private property, it was my decision to spend my money somewhere else.I will not be patronizing a business so blatantly embracing their inner fascism.

Inexpensive prices is Woodmans niche so plush amenities arent to be expected however the establishment needs some maintenance and renovation.

Woodmans is the bomb.com. they have it all. I once got lost in there, they didnt find me for 3 years. But I never had to eat the same thing twice. That is how much they have. It is literally the only place is the Fox Valley that you can get absolutely any food item you need.Great prices too!

Update: I still give the store 5 stars. When I shop inside, it is amazing! There are so many options and staff are always helpful. It does usually feel very crowded by other customers though so during COVID I switched to their curbside pick up. So far I have been having a rather terrible time. Pick up is in 2 hour windows, similar to other stores, but you never know your exact time until that moment - there are no updates or way to really track your other like other stores. They ask you to tell them when you are 5 min away but I am driving at that time so I cant which just means slightly longer wait outside. Of the few times Ive done curbside, I have always been missing 1-2 items that says was purchased. Customer support is very fast though when you email to let them know just terrible to not be able to have the missing items when needed.Absolutely love this store, but curbside ordering and pick up is 2 stars. Needs a lot of work!

Masks seem to be the norm here, which is good. But the couple of people I saw that didnt properly mask, were unchallenged. Store was too crowded for my taste, but staff did a fine job.

Customer service is amazing! I had an issue with a pick up order and the manager went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I really appreciated their concern and how everything was handled. I love the wide selection of products they have, the reasonable prices and the pick up and delivery options they offer. Will definitely continue to patronize them, especially since the business is employee owned. Great job!!!

Great selection of products. But the self checkout is antiquated and difficult to use. Visa/MC is not accepted and guests should be notified of this when entering the store. When I complained about this, I was rather rudely told that there were signs at the entrances. However when exiting, I saw no such thing.

All of the managers are extremely nice and helpful.The worst part of Woodmans is the actual people who shop here most of them are very rude and pushy. Ive even had people run into me with their carts.Also the parking lot needs to be updated with speed bumps because its very dangerous people drive at high rates of speed and Ive almost been hit a few times.

Happened to be in Appleton for an appointment and decided to make a quick stop at a grocery store for sugar that I needed for a recipe. Never heard of Woodmans, Im from far northern WI. Only looking for sugar, so I dont grab a cart and then it happened. My mind and eyes were blown away by the immensity of the store! I love to shop ethnic foods so began a quick tour. More than an hour later, I left with my arms loaded, and yes, I remembered the sugar! Amazing store! I have to plan a whole trip back to Appleton just to explore this store adequately!
