Had an issue with my 2009 Dodge Ram while traveling on vacation. From the moment I called I felt like this was a terrific business with an honest, polite and professional staff. I was given advice, given specific information on the problem, and options to correct the problem. Russell was a true gentleman, assisting me with accommodating my family vacation and getting the job done right and in the time frame I needed. At every step of the way I was kept informed of how the work was going. Every person on the All Transmission World staff were fantastic. Strongly recommend you stop in for a transmission check up even if you are not having any issues. These guys know their stuff.Respectfully,Tom Kirk

$450 for transmission diag. Options for fixing were laundry list of repairs or buying rebuilt. Chose neither option and instead had it towed from property. Come to find out transmission is sitting in my trunk, in pieces. Good to know that nearly half a grand is good enough to rip the part out of my car but not put it back in.

They got grease and oil all over the drivers seat while the vehicle was being repaired, the manager doesnt answer calls and calls go to voicemail...no resolution or response, requested parts saved that were broken, was told to go to the Winter Garden Shop if we wanted to pick them up. Not impressed with the customer service.

Had my trucks 5r110 rebuilt by these guys through fort diesel on rock springs road. It was supposed to be rebuilt with all ford parts that were out of tolerance and have a new rear main seal installed in engine for 4100 dollars. I got it back 4 days later with the engine coated in transmission fluid from improper filling procedures and no signs of rear cover removal. I traveled less than 50 miles and it locked up again. Had it towed back to Forts and let it go another few weeks and the story kept changing and he said he was going to scrap with this trans shop so I finally asked him who had my truck. I then got a hold of Russell at all transmission world apopka. He claimed it had a bad internal harness they couldnt get but kept trying to bypass it and run it anyway and destroyed my original so they put in a cheap remanufactured and wont provide paperwork. They said they were going to add a ground per warranty and in doing so stole my factory ground and simply replaced it with a parts store special, not grounding the transmission like they descibed. They ruined my external filter assembly, which now leaks and damaged my external transmission harness. Russell called me on 2/11/21 and tried to bleed me for 350 forpcm, asking if I had a second key, supposedly they needed a chipped key but this truck is archaic and doesnt have such a feature. I called Forts and he agreed if they missed that in the initial diagnosis he would cover it or maybe not and to just pick up the truck when they call, yet on 2/19 he tells me they are not electricians. And I might lose a friend here My pcm wasnt changed but they claimed to have md the truck always supposed to be ready that afternoon and then they said it was still the internal harness. I drove an hour to get a harness and provided it to them but supposedly that didnt fix it either although fort told me once I got my truck back he tested the used harness it was fine. All in all they treated me like I didnt know anything about the truck or the issues it was having and the job wasnt completed correctly or as agreed upon.

Where do I even begin? My husband & I were here from out of town & the torque converter went out & also the flex plate & fly wheel needed replaced in our truck. My husband (who is a mechanic) called them and told them what was wrong with it and asked could they get to it that day and he was told yes to bring it in right then (on Mon). After taking it apart they realized they would need to order parts. That was understandable because most places dont have them on hand anyway. They said the parts would be over night delivery. Being from out of town we had to find a motel room and luckily we was hauling another truck we could use while here. Long story short the parts didnt come in on time & the truck wasnt ready until Friday. We went to pick it up and thought everything was fine. When we started moving our things from the other truck we realized they had apparently left the windows down and eats got in and tore apart the back of the seat. We drove by daily and never seen the truck off of the lift or outside the shop. My husband called John and told him what had happened. His response was It was an open shop and there was nothing he could do about it. Ummm sorry but were we supposed to go there every day & get our truck to keep it from being torn up? No. In my opinion if you tear something up of someone elses you fix it. Had it been a theft problem I could maybe understand but this is unacceptable. After being yanked around all week (keep in mind we paid for a room all week for what suppose to be a next day fix) we now have to replace our driver seat. I just read a review from forever ago and apparently these rats have been a problem for way too long. I would not recommend them to anyone. They should replace our seat! Just wish it would have broke down at home so my husband could have done it himself for way cheaper and we wouldnt be replacing a seat due to carelessness. **Update to response**Just to let you know I was right there with my husband the entire time and I am aware of everything that went down. No our truck did not have trash in it and No we wasnt living in the truck 😅 We was passing thru after picking up cars to transport back to our car lot & staying in motel rooms. Not sure how the would have been relevant anyhow. I find it amusing how you say the truck was full of trash because it definitely was not! You clearly know you was in the wrong. You used the same excuse when another customer left a similar review when their car was torn up by your rats as well. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Thank goodness we will never have to deal with this liar ever again!!

Brought truck back in 6 weeks after warranty expired, no discount or help, just wanted another 5k. Also wanted to fix motor mounts that they fixed 2yrs ago. Never heard of replacing motor mounts that quickly for a car that just goes to work every day. 12k mi/year. Why would I let you do the motor mounts again when they only lasted 2 yrs when you did em the first time? Took truck somewhere else. Never will return. Hope the $360 you got from me was worth it.

My E150 Ford needed either a new transmission or to get it rebuilt. We brought it to All Transmission World in Apopka and met Rusty and John. They explained what happened to the transmission and they recommended to get it rebuilt. We went ahead and did it, they finished it when they said that it was going to be done. It was very important to me because it is my working van. I picked it up, and brought it back because there was a minor issue. They fixed the issue no questions asked. It meant a lot to me, because a lot of people are not willing to take responsibility. They were very professional about it. I am a person that believes in integrity. I would highly recommend All Transmission World in Apopka to whoever is looking for a trustworthy shop. Rusty and John are very knowledgeable in their field and very professional. I drive once a year from Dr Phillips to get an oil change on my transmission. I encourage you guys, you will save yourself time and energy by allowing these experts to take care of any transmission issues.

I took my car to this shop because it slips in first gear sometimes and sometimes it take a bit to pop into gear and then it spins out like the brakes are stuck on, then released. Not like a motor mount being busted where you just feel a bump when the motor sits back into place. They gave me a run around only to find out they did not have the mechanic there to do the work scheduled to do. Also, they told me things that did not make any sense. They said it was just the motor mounts. I took my car to 2 other shops and they were very familiar with what was happening to my car and proved what the problem was and not what this shop said. Sure, the mounts wear getting compressed and should be updated, but not causing the problem that the car was having. Before letting this shop do any work, get another opinion. Read the other reviews. They seem correct from my experience with them and they will talk about you badly behind your back and admit it. AVOID!!

I had my first experience with these people about 2 weeks ago and I regret it like crazy! I was charged almost $500 just to take my transmission apart and tell me it couldnt be rebuilt(which I don’t believe) but they gave a quote of $3200 for a used transmission to be installed. I chose to have my car fixed elsewhere but in the meantime my transmission parts were thrown in my trunk and all of a sudden the transmission tube is missing. I call only for Rusty to say I think we found it. I drove over 30 mins to Apopka and didn’t even get an I’m sorry for our mistake! This simple issue costed me money for a rental, gas and time from work and his response when I mentioned an apology was “ma’am it’s life, you shouldn’t have taken your car elsewhere in the first place” He’s rude and disrespectful and the customers service isn’t worth two nickels! On top of that they are extremely overpriced crooks. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!!

I would have to say that I’ve had the worst experience with all transmission world in Apopka, I had them rebuild a transmission on my 7.3 diesel truck. After spending $2300 the first week it I have it back the transmission goes out, I had to pay for a tow company to tow the truck back up there for them to tell me that the torque converter somehow just went bad. They fixed it and replace the torque converter.( did they really replace it or did they put the old one back in there ).Then after 20,000 miles on the transmission after the rebuild, a seal blows out and drops all my transmission fluid all over the ground. I had to have it towed back up to the shop, for them to tell me that I should change my transmission fluid every 12,000 miles or it will pop a seal. So I basically had to pay another $800 for them to take the transmission back down and put new seals in it because they failed to put the seals in correctly the first place .The owner was veryRude and did not want to stand behind his work and blamed it on faulty parts. Every mechanic that I talk to said that they did not put the steel in correctly is the reason why the seal went out after only 20,000 miles on the freshly rebuilt transmission. I would strongly advise for you to try to find a different transmission shop to work on your transmission because obviously these people don’t know what they’re doing. Either you could rude and did not want to stand behind his work and blamed it on faulty parts. Every mechanic that I talked to said that they did not put the steel in correctly is the reason why the seal went out after only 20,000 miles. I had to learn the hard way and now I’m in it over $3500, which I could’ve bought a new transmission and had it installed for almost exact price. Don’t waste your time or money with this company you will regret it

If you take money to fix someones car that you cannot fix, refund the money. People try and support small business instead of taking their car to the dealership (who can actually fix the cars). Either fix the car or refund the money. This company does NOT do that. If the money is worth more than your reputation, well here is your bad reputation.

I was warned about this place prior to going there from another business. When I went inside and inquired and had them look at my car, they advised me things I needed to do (without knowing I ALREADY did those things not even 3 weeks ago). I didnt tell them I was VERY familiar with my car, and had (A LOT) of work done myself and from other friends of mine whom are mechanics. Little did they know my motor mounts, Tranny mount lower, and both my upper mounts had been replaced. What they wanted plainly put is a 3800.00 job which wasnt going to happen based on their dishonesty a lone. I couldnt get out of there fast enough. The stuff you find out from people when you play stupid is truly eye opening and rewarding. The guy behind the desk was a nonsense joke. This was my first and LAST experience with this company. I played friendly anyways.I managed to purchase a 41k transmission for $700, and paid to have it installed in one day for $800 by a certified mechanic. They wanted my car for 3-4 days, and charge me $3800.00. In my opinion avoid this place. They can legally charge these prices, but most of the time will be your car sitting in the air on a lift which is what legally allows them to charge this price. Little did they know I did my research, and almost all mechanics around would of done this work for 2200 - 2300 however I did not know at the time, an old mechanic that had lived here before moved back to Florida and my relative called me to inform me when I posted this on Facebook. Was at this location in 12/2016 (December 2016)

This is a scam!! AVOID like the plague!! STAY AWAY!! They quoted me $362.88 to find out what was internally wrong with my transmission. They said that I did not need a rebuild or a replaced transmission just repair on internal parts. I sent the tow truck to pick my car up they turned them away and called me back promising 100% Lifetime warranty if after they check it out I decide to let them do the work. They gave me an estimate of $3655.19!!!!! I said no way, the tow truck is on the way. They refused to put my car back together unless I pay an additional $385.12. They literally threw one axel in the back of my car, put all of the internal parts of the transmission in a box in the back of my car. They said that they would have the tow guy put the transmission on the truck, so that it would not mess up my car. I get a call from the shop a couple hours after tow truck leaves, saying that the tow truck guy drove off and left the transmission. As if it was the tow truck guys responsibility to make sure that all of my parts were with my car. RUN RUN RUN as fast as you CAN!!! Liars, thieves, con artists and crooks!!!

THESE GUYS WILL ROB YOU BLIND! DO NOT USE!My girlfriend and I were on vacation for memorial day recently. While we were in Siesta Key, her car started running poorly. We were able to crawl home in her car, but there was definitely an issue. We started looking for a close mechanic shop to our house, and found All Transmission World. The men inside the shop were very nice and helpful. We left the car and later that afternoon, they called to inform us they had found a problem with the engine as well as the transmission, but they couldnt tell us what the actual problem was until we agreed to pay them $360 to peek inside. I told them my girlfriend is a student and we cant afford something expensive, so please just help us. They promised they would, saying We dont want just todays business, we want ALL your business. This made me feel extremely secure. So why not I thought, lets do it, and I told them to go ahead. Now is where is gets interesting and the story takes a horrific turn...The next morning, the shop called. Told me they found the issues, and could fix the problem...for $2000!!!!I asked them for details, and more details. They were evasive in their answers, and I believe attempted to camouflage the truth of the matter. What they didnt expect to encounter is that I had car mechanical experience. I was able to decipher the bullshit coming out of the mouth of the employee and discover that to fix the immediate problem that caused the vehicle to start running poorly all i needed was about $100-150 in parts (basic tuneup stuff like spark plugs and wires/dist. cap.) and minimal labor to install (all of which I could have done myself).I told the shop that $2000 was just unaffordable, and if I only paid the $360 I had pledged earlier, could I have my car back so I could fix those fewer items myself. They said yes, but they wouldnt reinstall the cars transmission. They would merely place the disassembled transmission in back of the car, and give us the keys. Well what good would a car with no transmission in it be? So I asked him how much to put it back in place so we could drive it out of there. He quoted me approx. $850. Mind you that this would entail ZERO work being done on the car to fix it. So at this point I was stuck between and rock and a hard place. Either I have to eat $850 and fix elsewhere, or I pay them the $2000 to fix it all.I could have gotten the minimal fixed to make the car operational, but we were deceived into fixing a lot more that wasnt necessary at the time. The point is, I asked them to be honest and fair, and they said they would, but all I got was a deception and lies. I would never recommend these people again, and I hope this review will save others from the crooked mechanics at All Transmission World.
