I was recommended by my sister in law due to her daughter had to have some braces for her ankle. I have a above the knee amputation and need work done on my prosthetic from time to time and sometimes new prosthetics. I recently moved into the area of Apex and the two times i have been i will say Chandler has done a great job. He is really through and informative on everything. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs his service.

Chandler has been so patient with me concerning the Arizona brace he provided me with recently. It has lessened the pain in the ankle joint but finding shoes to fit the brace is the next challenge I definitely would recommend Chandler Balkman, very informative and patient.

I highly recommend Del Bianco in Apex. My son had orthotics at another local company and although they cost several thousand dollars they kept breaking. We waited three weeks for repair and were told they wouldn’t break if he didn’t walk on them, well that wasn’t the problem, he can’t walk. Needless to say after his corrective surgery we were recommended by our Duke orthopedist to go to Del Bianco. My son with a TBI was treated kindly and greeted as a distinct person by our Orthotist. He took his overall ability and needs into consideration when choosing his brace and footwear. Everything was perfect. His transfers are easier, we have no skin breakdown, and he loves what he is wearing. In fact he wants to wear his brace, which in and of itself is a small miracle. In addition to our superb orthotist, the support staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. I whole heartedly recommend Del Bianco in Apex.

Del Bianco is a TOP-NOTCH practice that has addressed my numerous issues and allowed me to progress further than I ever thought. Ive got a unique case and I can say with all honesty, they worked with me through every issue Ive had. The thing that sets them apart from other practices is that they WANT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM as much as the patient. They are open minded for new ideas, are willing to try new techniques and are always keeping an eye on the state of the art equipment out there for the sole purpose of keeping their patients in the know.I appreciate the fact that Jim or his staff always adopt the approach of never give up on solving a customers problem. They are all creative in problem solving techniques and wont stop until they solve it. Sad to hear of a patient of theirs had a bad experience, but this is not what Ive EVER experienced in the past 4 years Ive been with them. This team has been so patient with me to solve my problems.Keep doing what you are guys are doing and continuously evolve by utilizing state of the techniques and equipment. Best prosthetic practice around and Del Bianco comes highly recommended!

Chandler did a great job of fitting my neck brace for a rare condition i have called craniocervical instability. He made some adjustments to help it to fit my small neck much better! The brace is already giving me lots of pain relief. I highly recommend Chandler and Del Bianco!

As a LAKA, I have been going to the Apex office for more than 3 years now. The staff there are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to me. I always feel they are looking out for my best interests and understand my life as an amputee.

After three failed attempts at getting a comfortable (or even tolerable) brace elsewhere, I struck gold at Del Bianco, where Phil Molnar got it right on the first try! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which caused the joints in my left foot and ankle to fuse in a painful position that causes tripping and makes walking difficult. Phil could see what the problem was with the old brace and created a new one that gives me the freedom to walk without pain. Ill be back!

This review is long time in coming.I wasn’t going to write a review until talking with one of my Neurologist at Duke hospitalwho mentioned “Rhonda, you should write a review. You might be able to help others, and maybe what happened to you won’t happen to someone else.”Just as previous reviews have stated, Jim and his staff are very nice and yes they are, until I kept coming back because my new AFO’s fromDel Bianco hurt my knees so bad, I couldn’t perform minor task like standing to wash dishes, brush my teeth, walking from front door to car, or push a shopping cart.When my grandma saw me walk in the AFO’sshe said “Even a horse couldn’t walk in those!”Jim one time told me “Not to come back until I bought better supportive shoes!” I put my hurt feelings aside, and went to the New Balance store as he instructed me to go to and I did purchase a costly pair of New Balance walking shoes.I went back, because the shoes were not the problem.I went back to Del Bianco prosthetics for my last time because Jim told me “Don’t come back until you can except, that you need to wear braces up to your hips!” Tears filled my eyes as my step mom and I walked out of the Del Bianco, Apex office.I had to surgeries, during the time I wore those braces which were confirmed later by a highly respected orthopedic in Cary and the medical resources that the AFO’s were the cause for my meniscus tears, IT Band surgeries in both knees plus other factors that the AFO’s caused.Please let me give you some advice...•Be your own advocate.•Ask questions.It’s your body, your life and your money.•Take your time, don’t let anyone or anyplace make you feel rushed with such important decisions* most important...Jim Bianco is not a Dr or a physical therapist.I’m currently in physical therapy learning to walk and stand again without AFO’s or any bracing.If I would have listen to Jim,I would be wearing AFO’s, knee braces and braces up to my hip!Again, I’m not writing this as a disgruntled customer.
