I always like the ease of checking in to the gym. The staff is generally helpful, but not always friendly/personable. Equipment is always top shape and everyone does a great job of keeping things clean. I really really enjoy the spa features. The total body enhancement and tanning are my favorite.

They are very helpful and courteous. Not too many rules and regulations, just an easy place to go workout. I would definitely recommend it.

This Planet Fitness is bright & open & clean. They have great Black Card amenities and a very friendly staff. It also has a great AC with fans that cool you down as you workout. I pass by Cary PF to go here every time.

The front office staff is always so friendly and they greet me by name. The employees are always walking around cleaning and sanitizing, so the establishment is quite clean. Even with covid restrictions there are plenty of machines, which means I dont usually have to wait around. Planet fitness offers a great workout experience at a very affordable price. Im going on 4 years at PF, and plan to go many more.

I have always loved PF until my visit today. I had just started my workout in the cuicut room on the leg press. I dont do the circuit but there is one machine I like to use in that room for my routines. A woman was doing the circuit and had asked me rudely to get off in the middle of my set. I had told her politely Im almost done and she didnt care and said she had already missed 2 rounds. I knew that was a lie because there are 20 stations in that room, if doing the circuit you spend 30 seconds at each station and are supposed to clean after each use. I do 4 15 rep sets with 30 seconds rest period in between, I didnt see this woman do all 19 other stations twice in the little amount of time that I was on my machine. I only had 1 set left so she had to wait maybe 60 seconds including cleaning time for me to be done. But she was impatient and got management to kick me off of the machine. I had also told the man I was almost done and that I pay to use this gym like everybody else. Also said that everybody else just patiently waits for a machine they want to use as do I if its not available at the moment. Everybody has a routine at the gym, not just people in the circuit room. I rarely see people use the circuit room for its intended purpose, most do what I do and pick specific machines they want to use. Yes theres another type of leg press in the facility but that one is not the same, the leg press machine in the circuit room is actually my favorite machine period. I am just very unhappy with how unfairly I was treated, as if this older woman was more important and they (the woman and management) felt they could push me a younger person over. I have been to multiple PF locations and have never been treated like this. Ill be canceling my black card membership and find another gym. So disappointed but obviously PF doesnt treat all of its members the same.

This is a pretty well run PF I definitely am not the biggest fan of pf bc I wish they had more free weights but this is still a very clean well running gym!

Ive been to a lot of gyms in my time, but the front staff here (Courtney, Emma, Rez, and the rest) are superb.Machines all work, weights kept in good order, bathrooms are fine, etc... I see the staff regularly cleaning the gym as well.Ive been coming here regularly for months and have been very happy to find a gym that hits all the right marks. 5/5I see another person dropped a 1 star for a bad experience because she didnt use an area correctly and held up a machine. Im an unaffiliated party, but my opinion is if a machine is in an area designated as a 30min workout, then it feels inconsiderate for someone to go in there and hold up a machine (not using it in the circuit) simply because he/she likes it. If that woman was indeed rude, then she could have communicated better and thats on her. But for you, one could have wiped down the machine and let the other work in between rests or worked a different muscle group and then returned.In my experience, a little bit of consideration and awareness goes a long way.

The staff is great and the people that are in there are so nice. Every time I go to workout I meet so many great people. Going there is a pleasure making my workout routine more enjoyable.

Convenient location, equipment is well maintained, and the hydro-massage is great.

Love this location, staff is friendly attentive and welcoming. Rarely any issues with the equipment and when there has been, the staff come over and deal with it right away. Love the services available, only thing that would make this even better, is a pool.

This planet fitness is great! Everyone is so nice! Theres plenty of equipment and it is not so full! I definitely recommend it. Me and my husband had an amazing hour long workout today thanks to this gym! Also don’t be shy, this is a judgment free zone!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I constantly see employees cleaning and maintaining the club. From what I have observed all involved are compliant with the protocol that is in place. I can’t say if all the clubs are this proactive, but Planet Fitness in Holly Springs NC is keeping it 100%

The place is very clean, lots of equipment, spaced out/blocked off for social distancing. I saw all the gym goers practice social distancing and cleaning up equipment after use, making me feel comfortable going there. I like the fact that PF has low monthly fees, easy on easy off, and the new app showing crowd levels, etc. is useful too.

This is a great facility. The staff is warm and welcoming. Theres always someone cleaning the equipment and I never feel concerned for my health while working out. This gym is perfect for beginners or people just looking to get a solid workout in. If youre looking for power lifting or functional work outs, this isnt the place. Ive never had an issue with waiting for equipment to be available.

Its not about making time for Planet Fitness...Its about routinely scheduling Planet Fitness into my daily schedule. I go to the gym like I go to work. I look forward to it. Getting over that hump and forcing myself to go even when I didnt want to were some of the best decisions Ive made. The staff doesnt seem to do more than stand behind the desk. When we toured they said they cleaned the machines every 30 mins but when Ive worked out for over 2 hours I havent seen a single one clean a machine. The other people that come in dont always clean the machines either and nothing is done about it.... They need to work on this, big time.

I have been a black card member for over a year prior to COVID. Once the option of putting my account on hold due to COVID was given, I decided to do so because I am a high risk case due to having Diabetes. The email was unclear about the length on the hold, I went ahead & signed up for the hold and called the call center the same day & stayed on hold for over an hour and never got ahold of anyone.In the month of November, I noticed PF was continuing to withdraw money from my account, I immediately responded by calling and leaving multiple voicemails after being on hold for multiple hours. This process was repeated MULTIPLE times in the months of December & January.As of January 18, in NC I am still unable to receive the vaccine. Because I am high risk I am still unable to attend the gym.Today, January 28, I was finally able to get ahold of the GM of the Holly Springs, NC, Justin Yates at 11am. This was AFTER he failed to respond to my email in 48hrs that I had sent on January 25. The only way I was FINALLY able to talk to a human being was when I called the call center & chose the option to BECOME A NEW MEMBER, which is fishy... Why can I not talk to an actual human unless when trying to join the business?Justin refused to submit a refund request for the money withdrawn from my account because he “knew it was going to get denied.” After repeating my request multiple times, I requested that I spoke to someone above him that was able to discuss the refunds. I was requesting to talk to someone else via phone not email because I have been waiting for over three months at this point & communication with PF has been UNRELIABLE. Justin proceeds to than state “Every time you are told no, are you just gonna try to do the same thing & talk to someone above?” At that time, I determined this conversation with Justin was no longer viable or going to lead to a solution. So I ended the phone call.I have been a black card member for nearly 2 years at this point & I am incredibly disappointed with the service I have received. Not only has communication been a struggle, but the unprofessional tone & language used by Justin was unacceptable. My phone number, email & address is provided in my account at PF. My account will remain on hold until there is a solution provided. I plan to never stand foot in the Holly Springs PF again, I do plan on being an active member again once things have been resolved.

5-14-21 many not wearing masks..People are not wearing masks while working out. Some are but it is not mandatory. I think it is important that we continue to be cautious particularly when working out because we are exerting ourselves in an indoor space where air recirculates.Masks should be mandatory at all times.

I went today to cancel my membership simply due to COVID. Not only does the website say that masks have to be worn indoors but the sign on the door as I was leaving said it as well. Aside from the staff, I counted maybe 2 out of 20 people actually wearing a mask while in there. I was going to sign up again when COVID has passed or whatever, but not anymore.

I loved this club prior to the shutdown. But Im not ready to go back to an indoor gym and thought I was taking advantage of an offer to continue a freeze on my membership but they billed me anyway and are not responding to attempts at communication. Ive tried1) Waiting on hold multiple times2) Taking advantage of the call back feature when hold times go long. First attempt at this was 10 days ago. I dont know how overwhelmed there call center is (all number ring to same corporate center) but 10 days is too long.3) Using the help email that is provided in the automated message you hear before going on hold forever.I wish they had a local number that is published somewhere. I think this could be worked out at the local level but that doesnt seem to be something they are interested in.

During this covid, they find one or other way to get your money. I cancelled my membership in August by being on phone for more than an hour to wait for a customer representative, and I got info that I need to email my cancellation to [email protected]. I did that and found that till today, I was charged twice. I came to check with them about charges and they informed me that my membership was never cancelled and there is some weird process to cancel which no one will follow during this covid situation. At last I got my membership cancelled but was charged twice without any workouts.👏👏👏

The staff are always friendly and courteous all while keeping the gym extremely clean and sanitary (even before covid). I love this gym!!!

As a black card member I am able to visit other Planet Fitness gyms freely... it is refreshing to see that the Holly Springs and Cary facilities are as professionally run and as clean as my Chapel Hill home gym

Nice gym and fitness center that just opened. Excellent selection of new equipment. 30 minute workout is a great concept, and everyone seems courteous using it. The hydromassage is a stress reliever. Some staff are transfers from Cary and are helping new hires get up to speed, but there are still some kinks.

Requires a bank draft for payment. Other gyms Ive belonged to in the area accept credit cards. This is poor customer service and has zero to do with creating a better experience for members. On the plus side, the equipment is nice and good value for the price. I setup a dedicated account for the draft, but am still annoyed by it.Also, for a place that is the judgement free zone they seem to be very judgmental towards meatheads. Lots of signage about no grunting, muscle shirts, etc.

Very nice gym with plenty of equipment of all sorts. To get 5 stars they would have to be able to charge my credit card for the monthly fee instead of checking account withdraw.

Honestly, I think this gym is amazing. Robert is typically who I see when I come to work out and makes sure theres always a tanning bed ready for me after Im done! Super clean and very uplifting atmosphere.

My husband and I just joined yesterday and worked out this morning. Even though the gym was full of people, there was plenty of available equipment. I didn’t have to wait for anything and had a great workout experience. The gym is very clean, friendly staff and I LOVE the hydro massage chair that I used afterward!

I went to DMV, but decided to take a stroll around and check out the mall. So disappointing to see how dead the mall was. Burlington used to keep things busy, but they moved. Sad.

Great place to work out in a Judgment Free Fashion

This is a brand-new facility. Everything is new and clean. Every time I go I see staff keeping things clean, from wiping down treadmills to replacing soap in the bathrooms. The shower areas are very nice, with frosted glass doors on each shower. Not at all crowded. Way more equipment than users. As for equipment, there are dozens of cardio machines (treadmills, stair steppers, etc.), universal-type resistance machines, dumbbells, Smith machines, stretching apparatus, TRX straps, a special 30-minute workout area, and a pf 360 section with pull-up bars, kettle bells, heavy ropes, and more. Plus its inexpensive.

Best Planet Fitness Ive been to. Not the largest, or the smallest but very new, staff is great and they have everything I need.

Clean. Machines are almost always available even at peak times.

This PF is new as of 2018, and you can tell. They have the standard equipment, plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and specialty machines. There are free weights, a section for circuit training, stretching and more. The Black Card club bumps up the price per month to about $22 (as of 2019) and gives you unlimited access to massage chairs, hydrobeds (water based massage therapy), tanning beds, red light therapy and discounts on drinks and PF/Reebok merchandise. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Its a relaxed atmosphere, no judgement. The parking lot is free, pretty large, but there are other shops opening in the center, so the parking may eventually get to be annoying, but youre there to get healthy, so a walk will help you get in more steps. Overall I would and have recommended.

What is up with the 300 TVs. We are supposed to be working out not watching tv. I haven’t watched television in years or Netflix and I do not see the logic in having them at a gym.

My only complaint would be the music playing so loud that you cant hardly hear your own music on your headphones. It would be nice to keep it low in the background.

I go to every PF as much as I visit other places, and dont intentionally review (because due to bad reviews theyll shut it down, and if i go back around that area, i wont have anything). However, this location was clean. No funky smell, tucked away in a nice business district. Friendly staff, no meathead atmosphere!
