Reliable, family-owned company with great customer service. Crews are quick and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. There is no better sanitation service in the Raleigh area, would highly recommend to anyone.

I am very impressed with Reliable Sanitation. They are very responsive to any questions, and always make sure we are aware if there are any changes in scheduling, due to holidays, etc. Im not sure why but what impresses me the most is that after they empty the trash and recycling, they line the cans up neatly at the end of the drive with the handles in the right direction. Great company.

I will miss Reliable Sanitation. Sold our house after 20 years and moving out of Reliable Sanitation’s service area. In snow, ice, hurricanes, and horribly hot weather, Reliable Sanitation has been just that …. Reliable. I would recommend them any day of the week.

This company is under new ownership, they told us to start putting our cans out the night before for morning pick up and then they werent showing up until after 5pm. The next week they are here before 9am, very poor communication with their customers as well. While this week they have drivers out with illness they did not communicate that to us and my cans have been sitting on the road since Monday night, they were to be here on Tuesday and today is Weds. I finally wrote them, he then called to explained this week was due to illness.. I explained that this is a pattern that began when he took over. All he cared to do was justify his behavior rather than make an effort to make things right. He tried to tell me we have always been on the end of the route, funny.. In 16 years we never were. I despise someone telling how things were done when they were never a part of what was done. Customer since 2004 looking for a company that respects their clientele.Regarding the response, ask yourself if a customer of so many years would be looking for another company to service them if they handled the situation as politely as their response below.

The name says it all, RELIABLE! Ive been using Reliable for a few years and love it! They have never missed a pick up, and they roll the carts to the truck by hand. Ive never seen trash on the ground after they leave, very clean! Very friendly people!

When you have any small issue and you call the Reliable team, you talk to real people who are part of a local small business that have been around for a long time .When I used to have service from a huge corporate Waste removal company, and called in with any issue, I’d get the big company run around and be unable to get quick resolutions. Excellent service! I have had Reliable Sanitation service for over 13 years. They are by far the best sanitation company I have ever dealt with. They really empty your trash can, and never leave trash behind. My trash and recycle cans are always neatly placed after pick-up.

Awesome company! Very dependable! I live in north Raleigh and for years I was with another sanitation service and they skipped me at least once a week. Pam and her staff have always been so friendly and accommodating. They are always on time and put the cans back out of the way of the street. There are other companies out there that claim they are cheaper and they make claims about their company. No one is more reliable! Pams dad started this business in the 1970s. He ran the business right and taught his daughter what to do and now she carries it on. I will never switch to another company! Always use local businesses, it effects your economy directly. I have used Reliable Sanitation and Recycling for several years now. I find them to be job professionals, polite and pickup on days they indicate. I like that they put out a yearly schedule of when they will pick up throughout the year when holidays occur. And on the few occasions I have forgot to put my trash bin on the curb, they got it from the side of the house for me. That was nice of them and unexpected. I am certainly satisfied with their service.

They are a truly locally owned and operated service and truly reliable. I had put out my garbage late one morning and upon calling to ask if they could come by and pick it up, the woman on the phone new my house and even honked to remind me. She said to leave the can near the garage and they would come back and empty it when possible. Sure enough, it was emptied not long after.Great company and at a great price!

My experience with this company has been great. The owner is friendly, knows her customers, and she even offered to pull my trash can out for me when my husband was sick. I have only seen a very friendly woman who has never missed a day. I originally went with her because her rates were considerably less than the company I had before. She offers a quarterly automatic billing system. I love this company, but especially the owner!

As the name says Reliable. Much better than previous service. Close lid and rotate can to let you know they have picked up. Never found a piece of trash around the container.

In two years have had no problems. Low prices are maintained. Only one service delay due to a deep freeze. Highly recommended.

Ive been with Reliable since 2015 when my current trash company was bought out by that GIANT Waste company, who Ive had issues with in the past - missing pick-ups and getting disconnected when calling in to complain, not to mention their pricing...So I called around and thankfully found Pams company. Ive been a happy customer ever since. Their name says it all - they reliably pick-up my trash and recycles as scheduled every week - no exceptions, all at a very reasonable price with conscientious workers. Ive even seen Pam out on my route before.They neatly rotate the cans 90 degrees after pick-up and should anything spill out during the dump, Ive witnessed them bend over and pick-up the trash by hand, when it would have been so easy to just drive off.Further, when I called to request a 2nd can (apparently my family produces more trash than most!) Pam answered the phone. I like knowing that Im helping to support a local company who I can call up and talk to the owner if I need to. Try do that with the GIANT Waste company.

We love this company!! Ms Pam and her team are amazing! They have been known to stop at my drive way and go down and get my cans when they knew we were on vacation! They always make sure that nearby trash is picked up when it has been windy or stormy. This is not their job in my opinion but I know all the homeowners appreciate these extra efforts!! Mr Mack is always so kind to speak to my kiddos and give them a high five when they run up to his truck! Thank you for all you do;)

After 9 years being with this company I had a simple question about my bill . The owner of the company became verbally abusive and stated .I am not going to argue about this I will just pick up the can. She really did not care that she was losing a good paying loyal customer. I did not call to argue with her I just had a simple question that deserved a simple answer but she chose to be abusive. So Goodbye and good riddens. There are other reputable companies out there that know how to treat there customers respectfully.I have to say that I did not have any problems until I questioned my bill then look out if you want to be yelled and screamed at over the phone. The owner is rude and obnoxious.

Reliable sanitation is the epitome of its name. We have had a business relationship since its creation in 2003. Reliable has been reliable in all aspects. We are notified of any changes in pick up schedules and the companys representatives are cordial and professional. They even come inside the gate to get the receptacle if we forget to leave it out. That is above and beyond the call of duty. Reliables prices are very competitive, if not the most reasonable in the waste management industry in the Raleigh area. You simply will not find a better trash service. I know, its only trash pickup but Ive paid more with others for 1/2 the service. They show up every single week without ever missing a day, something I can’t say about every other service I’ve tried in the past.

Workers with this business have been consistently spotted throwing trash AND recycling together in one section of their truck instead of returning to pick up recycling with their second vehicle as usual. Owner made canceling a nightmare. No one came to pick up the extra cans when she said they would for over two weeks. Last time I called she was rude, loud and insulted me. Apparently the previous owner kept up the landscaping better and she made sure I knew it. Such an awful experience with an UNRELIABLE local business.

They have crazy drivers who go way too fast in our neighborhood. They are also never on time. Not sure why they call themselves reliable?

I have always found them to be timely & consistent with their pickup times, as well as professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them.
