Garage Kings was very responsive for giving estimate of work that I wanted done, they were quick to get me scheduled and even were quick to make it happen even sooner than original scheduled. Love, love, love my new floor. Everyone that sees it also loves it. If your garage floor hasnt been sealed by Garage Kings you are missing out. I have not had a positive experience working with this company. I chose them based on the reviews so I feel compelled to share my experience.First off, we have very little in our garage, the sales rep even commented on how empty it was. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered to remove all large/heavy items to complete the flooring. I was told a tarp would be brought to cover an item which again, I did not ask for but was pleasantly surprised. The items were removed, but no tarp was brought. After asking they said they would bring it, never did. While the guys were there installing they said they would put the items back in when the floor was dry just to contact the company and they will schedule a time. When I contacted the company, I was told they did not offer that service but ended up saying they would do it since someone from their company said they would. When I was first offered to have the items put back in, it was sooner than their recommended time frame to ensure the quality of the floor just because they had guys close by, I asked if we could do a later time. When we did set a day and time, they showed hours later than they said they would to put the items back in. The communication between them was always so confusing and I got conflicting information dependent on who I talked to.They left an absolute mess with the chips of flooring covering our mulch on both sides of the driveway, scattered on the driveway as well that I had to sweep up. Overall I was happy with the flooring. Not even a month later, the flooring peeled. I contacted the company on 5/28 to let them know and hopefully have them come fix it, I was told someone would reach out to me - no one did for 3 days. I reached out again and got a call same day that they would be by that afternoon, no one showed. I have contacted them 3 times since June 3rd, with no response, today is June 16th. This is beyond frustrating considering the cost of this service. I never leave public reviews but again, feel compelled since there are so many great reviews that I wanted to share my experience. I would not recommend this company.

Christina and Bill were great to correspond with over details of my floor install. Their communication was always top notch and I was even able to custom order a color combination for my floor. Theyre a bit more pricey than the others, but thats to be expected since they are doing a double polyaspartic application, base and top coat.I opted to have my surrounding cove in the garage included in the installation. When the installers finished, it looked absolutely stunning at first but after closer inspection there are definitely areas that were rushed / skimped on. The majority of the floor looks and feels great but there are obvious spots where it is a lot rougher than others and or uneven. A portion of my floor actually peeled and came up from light cleaning which included a light mop and vacuum.Im not entirely sure if the cove was rushed, or thats just the nature of having it installed there, but there are a lot of spots where the hardened flakes stick out and pose a hazard of being pricked / cut. A lot of the flakes on top of the cove did not seem to adhere well, or not enough product was used there because there are quite a bit of flakes that are loose and coming off.Overall not a bad experience, but if I were to do it again I would probably skip the alcove addition.

Salesperson was very helpful in describing their work and helping us with our choices. He told us what to expect from the technicians and quoted us a reasonable offer. We had a small job with a screened porch and front entryway but were treated as any customer would like to be treated. The technicians were prompt and efficient. They were kind and considerate young men, as if they had a stake in the success of the venture. We got a better product than expected which has held up well and brought us many compliments. Glad we chose Garage Kings

Excellent quality of the flooring material. Expensive but good overall cost and quality of work. Do wish they had cleaned up a little more, but that is my only very minor complaint. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone wishing to get their garage floor done! Highly satisfied with mine!

Bill was super responsive. He came over, explained the process gave an accurate quote and set up time. Brad and Dwayne who had come to install were efficient and cleaned up nicely. We could not be more happier with Garage Kings and will definitely recommend.

They have no idea what they are doing. They had bubbles coming up and nails still up and the sad part is they came back to “fix it” twice. I highly suggest not going here for your floors. It isn’t worth getting injured over

Update to previous review:Garage Kings claims to offer a referral spiff but after having my inlaws spend thousands on their garage I haven’t seen any referral money. This review goes back to being positive as soon as you guys stop messing around!I used Garage kings to do my garage floor and I’m very happy with how the floor turned out. They did a beautiful on the floor and I’m very pleased with it. We get a lot of compliments on it actually! If I could do this again I would have used this service before moving into our house and before we had the garage painted.My garage door hasn’t worked properly since they moved my sensors. I also had to replace an expensive shop vac because of the flakes that were left behind so word of warning, just sweep them up yourself if they don’t. Don’t use your shop vac for that! They did drive off with two of my brooms but eventually returned them.There was some damage to our walls that had just been professionally painted. After I provided photos of the damage to Christine she had a couple of her guys come back out a few days later and for the most part were able to repair the damage.In short, I love my garage floor. I just wish the crew had been more careful and left all of the garage better than they found it. I would absolutely recommend them still!

This is the second garage floor that Garage Kings did for us. The floor is beautiful. Ive been impressed with Garage Kings commitment to customer service and thats a big reason I had them come back. Ive had a lot of service vendors to the house for projects and Garage Kings stands head and shoulders above all of them for customer service. Ive been totally floored by how attentive they are to every detail and wont consider the job done until Im satisfied. If you use someone other than Garage Kings for your garage floor youve got the wrong company.

We thought Garage Kings did a great job with the epoxy on our garage floor. This was the second time weve used them, and this was a big job, > 900 square feet, and it looks amazing, like you could show off a vintage automobile in there. My little Mazda loves it! All done in one day too.

I’m been disappointed many times with home service companies. Fortunately “Garage Kings” was different. They were outstanding in every way. Their attention to detail impressed me the most, and I’m old and don’t impress easily. They aren’t the cheapest, which is good. I’ve done cheap several times and have regretted it every time. Lastly, I never write reviews but “ Garage Kings” is definitely worth recommending.

I had a wonderful experience with Garage Kings. Christina was able to accommodate my tight schedule for the job and my 900+ square feet garage now looks great and new. I did epoxy flooring and the finishing is amazing. It doesn’t matter what gets on the floor all that’s required is a wipe off and it is new again. I got a lot of compliments from neighbors but most importantly I believe it is money well spent and a very good investment in my house. Also, the work comes with a 21 years warranty for rest of mind. I would use Garage Kings again. 5 Star rating well deserved.

Garage Kings did an amazing job on my garage floor. They had to be perfect because I went with bright white without flakes, which would expose imperfections in the (not new) concrete. Additionally, it is a 1,200 square foot garage that will display my unique car collection. They delivered in every way. It looks like an ice skating rink. Others may be good as well, but I know Garage Kings is great! The staff (Christina, Hunter) are also wonderful.

Overall from the beginning my project to the end it was a good experience. Christina was my point of contact and she also came out and gave me a quote.Christina was very customer friendly professional and gave me the best fair price she could. I contracted Garage Kings of Apex to apply Polyaspartic flake flooring to my newly remodeled garage workshop. I would give the actual end result a 4 star, but dropped it to 3 stars because of less than ideal customer service and attention to detail. To start off, they delayed the install a couple of times for various reasons, not a big deal. When they did arrive, the process seemed rushed and the crew was very messy. I was told they would cover things and not create such a mess during the quoting process, but that must have been a joke. I spent numerous hours with a dust mask on cleaning anything that was near the garage. In hindsight, if you go with them, do your own coverup and remove anything you can from the floor area. I would seal any doors between the garage and house. Then, they made several spills on my driveway with the coating material. They cleaned up some of them, but I still have 3 largish patches staining my driveway. Sure, my house is only worth $600K and my driveway is 30years old, but I didnt like spending $4000+ to get some extra stains for free (sarcasm added for effect). They said, no worries, they will be back in the morning to clean it. Seriously?, there is no way they had any intention of following through or ever coming back. I live in Chapel Hill so maybe they were all State fans IDK. I called 3-4 times afterward and every time, it was, they will be by this week. Its not a big priority, for sure, but 4-months later, Im done calling and I now live with 3 extra family members (Spot 1 - Spot 2 and Spot 3). They dont eat much. Then, there was the big scratch, call it Murphs law or my dumb luck, but I pulled a screw under a heavy weight across the floor. (dont ask - I have been thoroughly punished by my wife already). Anyway, I called them, begging for some help to make my $4000+ floor scratch better. The check had not even cleared the bank.Same deal, 2, 3, 4, 5 promises, then they decided it was somehow unprofessional to fix it for me because it would not look perfect. I said I was not looking for perfect, just better, then 2 more promises and then I gave up and just bought some stuff on Amazon and it looks good enough. This makes me think that whatever a double lifetime warranty is, is certainly not worth a dime. I hope that Dupont or whoever came up with this product - knew what they were doing. Last thing, after 4 months the floor is mostly not smelling, but it was far from a non-odorous process, like is advertised. If the floor was in an interior space, it would have been a big issue. It was 4-weeks before I felt ok working in the garage without first venting it. I dont know that it was the fault of the rushed installation or the product, but it was a surprise to me and I spent 2 hours googling it because of my concern. Anyway, I do like the floor, but I am mixed on a recommendation for Garage Kings. The other people I was looking at were United Flooring, but they had a longer lead time.

I would highly recommend this company if you want your garage floors to look the best. All your neighbors will be jealous. I shopped around before deciding on Garage Kings because they have the best value but not the lowest price. The secret is in the application and the difference is obvious to all their competitors. Christina is very responsive and explained everything to me. Logan is a true artist and got my floors to look amazing.

One of their truck drivers almost caused an accident right in front of me with reckless driving.

This was a disappointing experience and I wavered between 2 or 3 stars. But I now have an update because on December 10th, Garage Kings came back and fixed the coverage issues that I noted below. So this is now a STRONG 3 Star review. Customer Satisfaction does matter to them, and I appreciate it! Original Review: Garage Kings applied an epoxy resin covering to my front and back porch and a concrete stain to my walkway. If you decide to engage Garage Kings for a project, here is my advice. First, get another quote as I now have reason to believe that their prices are higher than others ($7.00/ square foot for epoxy resin and $5.50 / square foot for concrete stain). Secondly, do NOT do the concrete stain treatment -- in fairness, I was warned that the stain might look different once applied, but my choice of medium BROWN came out medium GRAY (seriously -- I thought they had used the wrong stain color) -- they showed me the stain can they used and it said the right color, but the application didnt even come close to expectations. So truly buyer beware on this covering. Thirdly, you need to watch their work during the day very carefully. They sprayed a significant amount of concrete stain on my siding..and willingly cleaned it up once I pointed it out...but I discovered additonal spots after they left. More troubling, they missed a significant area on my back porch with the resin covering (the upper third of the concrete cove that met the siding)...and had to hand apply it after the fact once I pointed it out. Similarly, I didnt catch an area on my front porch that was covered badly until after they left. And, lastly, while they assured me that the flecks would brush off on the metal bars on my back porch....these flecks turned out to have adhesive on them and are not removable at this point. And, my final warning is their disappointing after customer care. In theory, they provide a lifetime warranty on their work...but when I emailed them about the additional stains on my siding, the inadequare front porch coverage (even provided pictures) and the excessive amount of resin flakes on my back porch...Nelson responded that all of the above were within normal parameters so sorry not coming back. What is the value of a lifetime warranty if it doesnt include customer satisfaction? So just be careful engaging this company for any project. The supervisor for this project left shortly after the team arrived (which I didnt realize until I came out and saw the concrete stain and freaked out and made one of the workers call Logan)...so this poor outcome may be due to the lack of oversight. Just a disappointing experience.

Excellent process from quotation to fulfillment. Very professional execution, arrive in the morning and completed late afternoon. Garage Kings leave a clean site behind and provide a great long term warranty.

I liked the finished product overall. A definite improvement and upgrade to the house. I was a little disappointed in the attention to detail and I dont believe that three younger guys had enough experience to do a five star job. There were a few flaws and mistakes that I think should have been avoided. I still would hire Garage Kings to additional jobs in the future.

Nelson was very accommodating with the tight timeline for the project, and provided a competitive quote for the garage, front and back porch floor coating. The job started on time within a day of initial conversation and finished on time. Sean and Mike worked very hard and did an outstanding job in transforming the dirty garage and drab porches into a clean, inviting and easy to maintain space. The clean up after the job was finished was impressive. Full admiration for the punctuality, diligence and work ethic displayed by Nelson’s team.

Our garage project was quite the process because of 2020. Garage Kings were extremely flexible with us. Our garage floor looks fantastic!We had a problem with the wall finish, and they came out and took care of the problem.

The final product is incredible, so good that when I asked my wife how it looked (I was still at work), she said, “it looks F’ing great!” I agree and recommend talking to Garage Kings if you are considering having your garage floor coated.

Garage Kings charge a 3% credit card fee, not allowed to do this thru VISA/ MC terms of terminal agreement and unprofessional. Bit of hicup on estimate invoice, wanted pricing for basement finish but renig and stated the estimate was only for my three (3) car garage. Over priced estimate for basement, therefore, I did it myself. Estimate was not clear on invoice and needs to spell out their line charges. Guys came back out to do touch-up but finish job looks solid.

Nelson and Logan did a great job with my 770 sq. ft. garage floor from Garage Kings. The polyaspartic coating changed the looks of my floor and short cinder block in my garage. They know their product and advised me on how to fix some issues like my garage entry door which had the rare cinder block broke out for the door threshold. All your cracks and imperfections will be completely gone. The floor was completed in one day. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

A two-man Garage King of Raleigh crew did a good job in coating our garage floor with polyaspartic materials last February 2, 2020. I opted for a poyaspartic instead of epoxy coating on their recommendation. So far everyone who saw it said it is beautiful. Pasted below are 3 photos of their work. They did it in less than a day. I thought they were in a hurry since it was superbowl day. So I was apprehensive of the quality - i. e. whether the coating will crack or change colors. Consequently, I initially gave them a 4 star rating. However, today, February 28, Nelson Hulbert came to review their work and gave me a 21 year warranty. So I am changing my 4 star rating on them to a 5 star rating. I highly recommend Garage Kings of Releigh to others planning to update or renovate their garage floorings.
