My girls started here at the end of spring, struggling with the pandemic, isolation, like all of us. Its been helpful, more responsive than other places we have used in the past. Providers have been accessible so far.

My daughter has been going to Lifescapes for over a year with great success. Their staff has always been responsive, respectful and kind. This place is a gem if you are seeking mental health support. They really care about their patients and it shows.

While my therapist at Lifescapes was amazing, the practice management and desk staff made me feel as though my mental health care was unimportant and not urgent. I had been a regular patient of a therapist for some time when they had to take unexpected leave; I was told they had no way of absorbing the therapists patients and so I could wait for my therapist to return or be replaced.I chose to wait and communicated this to them, but as my need for care grew over the next month, I called back to ask them about referrals or when my therapist might return or be replaced. I never received a call back. Two months later (now three months without care), I saw on their website that my therapist had returned and no one had bothered to inform me. When I contacted them about it, I was told that I could get an appointment with her in two to three months but only high-risk patients had been contacted about her return. When I then asked if they had a recommendation for another practitioner or even another local practice entirely, I was told most therapists in this area are very busy and given no direction or information to help continue my care.I felt deprioritized and discouraged. Moreover, the fact that they could not resume my care but had no plan or recommendation for me to do so was irresponsible. Its unfortunate, because some truly gifted practitioners work at Lifescapes, but I felt that their lack of care put me at risk. I understand that unexpected emergencies arise, but planning on leaving patients 6 months without care or any plan or recommendation is simply irresponsible and dangerous.

Dr. Jennifer Conaty tested both of our children for some concerns we had regarding learning disabilities, and we could not be more pleased with the experience that we had. She was very thorough and engaged, and offered us resources on how to move forward. The process was quite involved and tailored to our childrens individual needs. It was worth the wait to see her. We had some issues with billing and the insurance covering a portion of the testing sessions, but their billing staff was able to help us navigate the problem and communicate with our insurance company which was helpful.

Great staff and comforting atmosphere. I’ve been seeing Dee and Sara for 4 years and I am so thankful that a total stranger (playground mommy chat) referred me to them. They are that great.

My wifes therapist left on short notice while she was actively in need of support (which on its own would be fine - therapists have reasons for needing to do that and this is not the upsetting part) but the front office told her that she was not an important enough patient to warrant placement with another therapist.I personally had medication that I rely on in a day to day basis silently cut off due to not making a (fourth) followup appointment I was never told I needed to make. My pharmacist called them eight times trying to renew the prescription and they just ignored the calls entirely, never returned messages, and never even told me this was going on until I was forced to go a full week cold turkey off of my medication - I was told that in different situations I could have just paid a missed appointment fee and they would have been able to write me another prescription (which seems sketchy enough as is) but that they would not be able to re-up my medication until we were able to schedule another appointment (several days out at this point due to scheduling conflicts). I left and never looked back.I am aware of several other people who have had similar (or more severe!) experiences as well. Think twice before going here. And especially before switching any existing prescriptions to run through the med manager there.

For the first time in my life, I actually found a therapist that seemed to understand what was going on with me. She has been able to be on call when I think about self harm, talking to her is really helpful. I only wish they werent so busy, to the point that I cant get an appointment. Mostly my fault. Overall I think they are wonderful.

I have been working with Dee Litten at Lifescapes for several months now, and I have only wonderful things to say about her as my counselor. She has helped me through many difficult things, and has helped teach me to cope with the future struggles we can all count on in life. Ms. Litten is not only a great listener, but she gets it, she understands what I am going through, and she offers excellent advise on how to deal with things. I highly recommend Dee to anyone who is looking for a counselor to help with anxiety or looking to learn CBT skills.

Unfortunately I had two bad experiences here. First I called to make an appointment for my son and never heard back. I waited a few weeks and called back hoping it was just a mistake. When I spoke with someone o was told the doctor had a waiting list for patients. Honestly I felt like they just didn’t want to see my son.
