Exceptional customer service and quality of work. Quick to respond and provide helpful information.
Jeff Vaughn has provided complete, professional and timely guidance as we navigate the decision process to repair/replace our 40+ year old residential septic system. If the scale allowed, we would rank him a 6
Best in the industry. Excellent work, and all questions were answered thoroughly and in a timely manner.
We were in the process of buying our house back in Spring of 2019, and hired AWT to inspect the septic system and well. The septic inspection went great, and we were provided a report with helpful information about our system. The well inspection however, was only a picture of the well cap in our front yard and didnt really tell us much other than what we could see ourselves. At the time we didnt really know what we were looking at, never had a house with a well, and probably could have done a bit more research ourselves to learn about the well system. But as home-buying goes, we had so much else to worry over and we rightfully assumed that the inspector would tell us what we needed to know.Weve been in our house for just about a year now, and the well pump went out. We knew that this component was old and anticipated replacing it at some point. When our well contractor came out, we showed them the well that AWT inspected, they opened it up and it was completely empty! Come to find out, this was very obviously an old well and had not been in use, probably since the 1970s when the active well pump was installed. The well contractor noted that this would have been a no-brainier when inspecting the system. The well that our system is connected to is completely separate. The contractors were able to locate it and noted that theyve had similar experiences with other clients whose homes were inspected by AWT. It seems that AWT is great at what they know-- septic systems. I think they need a more training and education on well systems so that they can provide reliable and correct information and make sure their clients are well informed.
I have been dealing with AWT since 2011 on a regular basis as they maintain, repair, and inspect my septic system. They have done an outstanding job since I met them. Jeff and the crew could not do a better job as they are kind, courteous, efficient, reasonably priced, and always dependable. In fact I had someone else digging on my proerty today and they accidentally ruptured a septic line. Being a Friday morning I thought it would be next week before it could be repaired. However Jeff and his crew from AWT was out here almost immediately and had it completely repaired in two hours. Now that is service! Providing this kind of service from AWT is business as usual. Don’t hesitate for a second to give them a call. They are fantastic!
I have worked with Jeff Vaughan at AWT twice now and must say I have had some of the best customer service I have ever received. The first time was when I needed an inspection for a septic system while purchasing a home 4 years ago. The inspection price was reasonable and the report was so comprehensive that I have referred to it multiple times since then. When I had questions post-inspection, Jeff spent significant time with me over the phone. More recently, before undertaking significant drainage, grading, and landscaping work around my home, Jeff helped me understand some important considerations to ensure that no damage is done to my septic system through the process. He also gave me important tips to ensure the long-term health of my septic system. Jeff is very responsive and goes above and beyond to help his clients. I have been very impressed and highly recommend AWT.
I am a realtor and have experienced stellar customer service with Jeff and his company. He not only knows his business but he is respectful of the clients need to understand what is going on and is willing to take the time to explain (its another language to me). When I recently went under contract to purchase my own home (with a septic system), I called Agriwaste; I wouldnt even consider calling anyone else. Thanks, Jeff!!!
As a local Realtor, AWT has become my go to service provider for my clients purchasing a property with septic and well water service. Recently they pulled off a miracle and turned around a well water sample in an unheard of 24 hours.. Jessica, Julie, Jeff, Chris & Alex and the whole team at AWT are the utmost professionals. Highly recommend you give them your business.
VERY poor customer service! left many messages trying to get them to come and do a full inspection on my septic system. almost 2 weeks later many phone calls and messages and still nothing. No call backs andf no returned messages Also my realtor tried many times and nothing. Must be nice to be able to turn business down and not answer the phones.
DISHONEST, non-responsive and irresponsibleDishonest & IrresponsibleHired AWT while purchasing our home in Clayton, NC, Julie Davidson wrote us a report stating the well she tested was in perfect working order. Fast forward a couple years, we have no water in our home. Come to find out the well she tested had been out of commission and didnt even have power for years prior to her examination.Have spoken with several people in this office, they do not care, they will not even provide their insurance carrier information so that we can follow up appropriately. Our family would never have bought (nor been approved) to buy this home without a known, tested and functioning well. Their dishonest report and lack of interest in providing even the most basic assistance has left our family without water for over a month while we try to work with the county to resolve this issue.Hire someone else.
Great from start to finish. They got us in quickly and communicated from start to finish throughout every single step of the way. Answered all questions and performed very thorough inspection. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeff Vaughan inspected my septic system before I bought my first house. I am so glad I did because the septic system was broken and needed repair. I would have never known if Jeff had not inspected it. Jeff was very knowledgeable and timely! It made my first home buying experience much much better! I would recommend AWT to anyone!
Exceptional service from Jeff Vaughan with my septic and well inspection. Unfortunately the hard part was paying for my service since you are required to use Paypal or send a check. With an update to the billing system I would be happy to do business with them again.
Cannot recommend. They inspected a septic tank for us and charged us $350, sent the bill to the wrong person, and then sent it to collections. They have been nothing but rude to me as I tried to sort this all out. Meanwhile the tank they billed us to inspect WASNT EVEN IN USE and they didnt even recognize it. A year later, we experienced a clog in our drain, called another provider (A-1 Septic) -- they immediately identified that the tank wasnt in use and didnt charge us for Agri-Wastes screw up. They said it would be obvious to anyone who knew what they were doing that the tank wasnt in use -- there was no TP nor ANY signs of use (which we were assured would be obvious). Imagine if you had something more serious? This company would gladly help you flush money down the drain. Do yourself a favor and consider someone else.
The best for septic inspections because of through inspection and detailed reports. Soil engieering.
AWT inspected my septic system over a year ago when I was looking into buying my current house. Everything was fine. Over Christmas my septic tank alarm went off. I called the only number I could find in my emails, since their office was closed for Christmas, and got Trent. He came out the next day and found that my pump switch was bad. He temporarily resolved the issue until a repair guy could come out and fix the problem.Outstanding customer service!
Inherited a piece of land. Wanted to subdivide and had to have a perc test done. The county representative issued me a 3 bedroom permit. I called AWT and they were able to locate enough area for a 4 bedroom home.
The team seems to have a wealth of information. We have a 5 year old home which septic issues were discovered about a year after purchase. We had a sticker shock when their free estimate resulted in invoices of over $2,000 for services we did not receive (except a partial water testing result and video run inside our lines), had all these added padded charges they never made us aware of until after we got the invoice. They said they did a soil test, but we never got the results...but we were billed for it. They charged me for reviewing some documents but again, never told us that there would be a charge. We offered documents to see if it would help them identify our septic issue they said email them and we did. They said they did a plan for the septic and turned it in to the county... but the county stated they received a plan many months after they invoiced me for it and stated that the plan did not conform to regulations so it was returned to them for modifications. They billed me for their mileage to come to the property... But I was never told that these charges existed until I got the invoices. We were very surprised because they were charging us without letting us know in advance. We ended up with over $2,000 in invoices and knew of a few of the charges for testing the water and running the camera in the lines but we were confused about the rest...but nobody told explained this nor spoke to us about them. And we never got any septic repairs or an estimate other than an email saying it would cost somewhere around $8k to repair but they had not finished the estimate yet...and we didnt get an actual estimate. Then, they decided to humiliate us to our county health department by stating ...some unresolved issues regarding the relationship between ourselves and our client. And we honestly had no clue there were any issues between us. We did question them about their invoices but didnt hear back from them. I dont like hidden padded charging practices and had they told us first, we would have gone to another place because free estimates should be free and hidden fees like this makes me afraid they will add to the invoice after the estimate and work are completed. But the lack of professionalism is what really turned me completely off. Their add says free estimates but they charged me hundreds of dollars just to come over to look at the system and I never did really get an estimate. We got water tests, but Im not sure why we have all these other charges for mileage, and for them coming over and for the soil test we never got and for having a talk with our lawyer (who was dealing with the builder) and reading msds sheets for the cleaning products we use at home and county septic docs... It seems their free estimate was $2000 or so higher than we expected...and still we have no actual estimate.
Jeff Vaughan of Agri-Waste Technology did soil testing for us on some land that was donated to the non-profit Christian ministry where I am Executive Director. I can not speak highly enough of his professionalism, integrity, and the excellent job he did for us. He went out of his way to make sure everything was done professionally and expeditiously and that the finished paperwork was submitted to the proper authorities in a timely manner. I HIGHLY recommend Agri-Waste Technology and Dr. Vaughan.
I purchased a resale home in Chapel hill about a year ago and had Jeff from agri-waste perform the septic and well inspections. They provided a very comprehensive report and was very helpful in answering my questions. I recently notice a problem with the septic overflowing water from both septic access covers, it was at 7pm on saturday evening..of course! I was panicked and put a call in to Agri-waste and immediately heard back from Jeff who then walked me through several questions..Together we were able to diagnose the problem as a clogged outlet filter, and I was able to get my system working again the next morning. I cannot say better things about Jeff and the company...Extremely professional and knowledgeable..Customer service and response..unparalleled! Highly Recommended
Spoke to me online and tel for 15 minutes giving me general septic advice ... for a system that they donthe even service (I dont live anywhere close by)...that is unheard of- they had nothing to gain and still went out of their way for me. Thats service.
These people did my septic inspection/cleaning for my home closing over a year ago. I just got a call (over a year later) from a collection agency saying I still owed them money and my credit report had been tagged by them. I received NO notification whatsoever, but paid this immediately. I am FURIOUS with this company for being so incredibly lazy and unorganized. I never received one piece of communication from them. NOT ONCE.I plan to do a smear campaign across the Internet. Have a good day Agri-Waste.
AWT is who to trust if you have a lot that needs to get permitted for a tricky septic system application. With soils and engineering professionals under one roof they can figure out the most difficult of applications. Experts at Direct Discharge repairs too.
Very helpful services and technicians!
