I recently took my Dell T1600 desktop to this shop for servicing and came away very satisfied with the quality, value and responsiveness of the service. The owner, Tushar, is outstanding. I had an older computer that stopped booting up or charging. Instead of pressing for a sale I was told that I could work around the faulty charging port that would cost $180 to fix and instead charge the computer on the dock I had. We were looking for help fixing some hardware issues with our MacBook. Spoke to Tushar, found him to be honest and knowledgeable. This being one of the newer Macbooks, we werent very confident on replacing the part ourselves, since it involved removing the batteries. He could have talked us into getting getting the repair done a certain way, which would have set us back atleast by three hundred dollars. Instead he gave us his honest opinion and saved us some money. This would surely be the go to place, for our future computer repair needs.

Not impressed. Went there for a simple part, which they had and I purchased. It didnt work for what I needed, even though it should have, and the staff didnt even try to troubleshoot it for me. They did process the product return without any problems though.This shop is in the business of repairing computers. If a customer comes in with a small problem that you can help solve...they are more likely to come to you with their big problems. If you dont take the time on the small things, dont expect their business on the big ones.I went to a different computer shop the same night as this visit. They took the time to discuss my problem with me and we were able to solve it with a different product. Guess which shop Ill visit next time?

Compuguru is Amazing ! I am a small business owner and was hit by a nasty virus which would not let me log in to my computer at all leave apart accessing important files. They not only removed the virus but optimized my system making it work much faster then before and set up an automatic back up so I dont have to worry about it for future. All these was done in one day and for much lesser cost then what I spent in past with other so called Geeks in the area.

I hesitate to think what might have happened had we not found the Compuguru4u.Trying to work on an old machine is difficult enough and this one was causing us a ton of stress. So I had called in asking if they do free diagnostic and was told that they do, so I took in my laptop which was having a charging issue. Once I got there the man seemed nice enough and he took a quick look over my laptop and said the issue was my charger and he sold me a$50 charger saying that it would fix my issue.However again the same issue arose and I took my laptop back to the shop and complained about how his fix did not help me at all and im having the same issue. He then looked at my laptop for another 30 seconds like last time and stated that now the charing port was broken from the inside, but he somehow failed to see that the first time. For the record the laptop did still charge in the same way it would before buying his charger so his chrager had no impact on my machine. So obviously I wanted to return the charger but of course he has a no return policy which makes sense now. I then asked if he would just look at my laptop for real and tell me what the actual issue was as this was exam time and I desperatlely needed it to study. This is when he said that a diagnostic would cost $75 dollars, after already scamming me out of $50 for a charger that he claimed would fix my issues.This place just wants your money and cares 0 about your problems, the second they get money out of you they will just scam you for more and more, please do not go here.I ended up getting my laptop entirely fixed for $60 at Great Tech Geeks who actually did give a free diagnostic and even have a warranty if the product ends up failing againg, it was 30 mins further away but 100% worth the trip. Do not waste your time or money here, it is just a scam.UPDATE:For anyone interested, I never demanded it be free I was obviously going to pay for the replacement of my charging port, but when he said it would cost $75 just to look at my laptop and determine the issue is when I knew it was just a scam.Also he only offered a return so he could, in his own words get me out of his system since he knew I was onto him. He saw a college student walk in and thought he could take advantage of me, trying to get me to pay $125 dollars before even telling me what was actually wrong with my laptop. Like I said before please avoid and if you look at all the good reviews on this company most of them are accounts that have only left 1 review, while the reviews that arent 5 stars are all local guides, so you can judge that on your own. My suggestion is take your laptop or computer somewhere else, who knows who else he will try to take advantage of.

Too Good!!!! had a 4-5 years old Dell mainly being used for accounting at my office died on me. Mr. Guru as I would like to address him, backed up all my data, put in a new kind of Hard Drive which he claimed would work better then the traditional one and restored everything like before in just two days. He also guided me in setting up the back up solutions. Being a quick books user himself, way he has setup my quicken & quickbooks in such a way that it gets backed up automatically online for free. Happy that I did not fall for Big Box Retailers and went to him.
