THE WORST TRASH COLLECTION IN AZ! Customer service goes right along with that, sounds like your talking to a cigarette smoking bar hag or a teenager. Been with them over 3 yrs unfortunately. Dont be delinquent on your payment, they will steal your cans the following week and charge you $60 to get them back! NO NOTIFICATION ON THE BILL, NO EMAIL, NO NOTICE, NOTTA! Big Corp bought them out and now trying to make up for their terrible past service(RAD) by nickel and diming everyone. This place is a total ripoff!!!! I see why they have a 2 star rating. What a joke!! Find someplace else if you can!!!! Unsafe environment!!! They have some bonehead in a skid steer pushing garbage up right next to your vehicle. Wouldnt be surprised if someone gets killed on this site due to negligence!!!They dont tell you that a vest is needed so they can sell you a 2 dollar vest for 9 dollars. Their bulk pick up is a joke at best. You are limited to 4 cubic yards. OR number of items. YOU CAN NOT list more than 6 items! So they force you to go to THEIR dump. The last time I went it was $40! The customer service is so poor for this company. I always wait 25 to 30 minutes before anyone answers the phone. Today I received a paper notice left by my garbage man telling me I didnt do my garbage correctly. This is the second time in two weeks that he has done this. I have never had a problem before. When I called customer service to get an explanation it took 30 minutes to get through. Then when I explained the situation the rep just started reading the requirements for trash pick up. When I complained about the long wait time she said it was because they were down a couple of people. This has been going on for 3 or 4 years so thats not true plus she got snippy with me. Excellent customer service, I think not.

So today I had a driver like on another occasion come and pick up my trash and for whatever reason lays my receptacle in front of my neighbors house or down the street don’t understand why he’s driving and emptying at the same time but I shared it with RAD services I thought I’d share with you guys in case not happy more of an inconvenience.

My experience..........The picture is the location of the door to the business office. The customer service was phenomenal! I was in and out and greeted with the friendliest of staff who had me in and out in about 5 minutes with a receipt. The yard was impeccably clean and easy and safe to maneuver your way through to the office. Ive always had outstanding experiences with drivers in our neighborhood with driving safe and being courteous and cognizant of their responsibilities being part of our lives. Regardless of who owns the checkbook that signs the paychecks the people are awesome and always have been as Ive used them in personal and business. Thank you RAD.

There is no real reason except people arent doing their job. Ive tried to pay online and it wont go through. Youre customer service answering girl states youre working on the problem so if youre aware that people cant pay online then why not make it easier for them to pay over the phone? Absolutely the worst customer service. Garbage trucks missed my house (again). The lady at the center told me it was my fault because either didn’t have it out in time or my lid wasn’t closed. Clearly I had it out in time since everyone else’s trash cans were out and full. Also my recycling was taken, but not the trash. Also reminded her that I don’t have a lid because her drivers broke it off over a year ago and they still won’t replace it. She told me β€œtoo bad. I can’t guarantee someone will be out to pick it up. You are going to have to wait.” WHAT. So this is entirely my fault and not possibly just a mistake the driver made? This is RAD customer service.

I just needed to check the post holiday pickup schedule, and saw their ratings, it made me feel bad enough to compel me to write a review. Ive had RAD for 9 years straight now. (Residential, county island, mesa) They always come out. They always pick up my trash. They left me a note ONCE in 9 years because my cans were too close together for their grabbers to be able to effectively grab them, and they asked if I would heave more space between in the future. Its a 4 star instead of 5 because, as others have mentioned, communication can be a nightmare. I think they could use an answering service or something to help with call volume and message taking. Otherwise. Ive literally never had a problem eith them in over 9 years. Not sure why they get so much flak. I think people are too bored if theyre getting online to leave bad reviews for a garbage company. (I wish my county island had recycling. This isnt a RAD problem, this is a funding problem)

I actually went to their Transfer station in AJ. Upon arrival the weigh station takes either your I.D. or a credit card to be sure you come back to the station to get weighed out...I dumped off yard waste using my 2001 ford ranger short bed..I was only loaded to the top of the bed, not cab height or anything.. to my suprise they charged me $50 to dump..if they would have had a price per weight or the attendant would have told me the price (when I asked them) before dumping I would not have used this company... I am also a residential pickup customer of theirs and they dont even have a dicount for for being a current customer....

After them not separating trash and recycling for months but continuing to charge us and then them not picking up my recycling last week I finally had enough. I called to cancel my service yesterday. I was caller number 1 but sat on hold for 30 minutes. I did not receive any apology just an ok well cancel your service. They also kept the money that I had to prepay for the service. They used to be a good company but now I guess they just dont care. Ive since changed to Diggins which so far Im very happy with.

I dont think RAD is great nor horrible. But their communication needs improvement. I rarely go the phonecall route, usually website instead. Theyll accept your request, but fail at giving you confirmation. Ive requested special pick ups and a busted recycle bin replacement. Again, no confirmation. I just happen to look out the window to see a guy replace it from a truck bed of new bins on garbage pick up day... but the biggest BS ive had to deal with so far is the $30 late fee added on one day after the due date.

RAD employees are RAD! I just had one empty my recycle bin that saw me coming out with additional bags. He waived for me to dump them into the recycle bin, backed up and emptied it again. Several months ago another saw me struggling to help my husband get a couch into the house. He stopped and helped my husband.I don’t know where all the low ratings are generating from but my experience in this neighborhood has been fantastic! What great employees they have!

I have a business, a customers vehicle was blocking the trash. instead of common courtesy getting out of the truck or calling to let us know the driver just left. they were not friendly on the phone and informed me i would have to wait for the next pick up date. mind you this is a business with meat and chicken. the trouble ive gone through with this company for the high prices they charge is just wrong. definitely will not be renewing my contract .

If I could give no stars I would. After staying on hold for over a hour 2 months ago to cancel my service the automatic voice tells me to leave a message and someone would get back with me never called me back. Sent a email a few weeks later to confirm my cancellation. Again no call now they send me a late fee bill and I call to dispute it (anotheraanother 30themin on hold) person days since I never called again I owe them for June and July. I say why would I pay for a service I called to cancel they say the balance due will stay in my account and then just go to collections. Will never use them again.

I switched to using Right Away Disposal from another company I was using a couple of years back due to the other company having consistent billing issues. Lisa Guglielmi does a fantastic job for me and I have never been happier. She is very quick to respond to our email and orders, my portable restroom deliveries always show up on time, and rarely ever have billing issues. Great job RAD and especially Lisa!

We are in a 3 year contract with RAD and they have just had another price increase. This time it is 23% of the bill. That is almost 1/4 of our entire bill. They did not inform us of the increase, they just added it to the invoice. When I called them, they informed me that the increased invoice WAS their way of informing us. If they try to get you to sign a contract read line 4. Which basically states they can increase it whenever they feel like it. So they may promise you a low rate, but I can assure you they will continue to up the rate anytime they feel like it. I would do your research and find a company that is more upfront about the cost. Ever since RAD was bought out they have continued to go down hill in their business practices and ethics.

They then reinstated service, well this last time I was over it. It takes a lot to make me write a review and the 1.7 star rating for this company says it all. If I had the option of dropping their service I would, but Im subject to the HOA and have absolutely NO recourse other than ranting online. Have I gotten a little lax in getting the can out to the curb in the morning. Yes. Why? Because since the HOA switched to RAD, theyve been picking up my trash around noon! So, yeah, a little upset when theyre 6 hours early this morning. Now Ive had this ONE other time in my life when I lived in the city. Not a problem. They sent someone around the very next day. So nice. NOT RAD. $30 charge IF they still have someone in the area. Thanks for thought, but no thanks. Ill just pile it up. The driver for bulk pickup refused to take these bundles of tree limbs. Due to his lazy observation of the limbs being bundled or not. They in fact were bundled, as Ive known RADs bulk pick up requirements for years. I made contact with the office about the problem. The rude woman aka judge, jury, and executioner, stated I was wrong, they were not bundled, and they will not send a truck out to pick up the tree limbs. Below is a picture the driver took of the limbs. From the comfort of his cool air conditioned cab. This is the picture used to determine the limbs were not bundled. Ugh, if they werent, theyd be in the street. I offered to send her a picture showing the red twine used to bundle the limbs. She states what proof do I have you didnt do it before you called. I dont have time for High school games. Way to go lady! You just called the customer a lier.

Im done! not even sure where to start, so here it all is:- didnt pickup when changing schedule.- didnt pickup when told they had missed pickup.- increased price by about 50% without any notice other than a new amount on the invoice (Im happy I wasnt on auto pay like one of my colleagues!), and with that would be significantly pricier than the big provider in the area (WM).- when I called to cancel service, it only took about 35 minutes on hold to get through. That is actually better than the other 3 times Ive had to call because they do what they are paid to do (twice it was over an hour!).- and now they want $30 to pick up the cans (which has another company name on them!)We signed up with AZ Sanitation which we loved to have for years. AZ Sanitation were bought/taken over by RAD late 2018. Customer service is non-existent, and now the prices are higher than WM? Bye bye!

Would be a 1 star rating except I dont have an issue with the trash pickup service just the administrative side. I was charged a $30 late fee for not paying an invoice timely. I did not receive the invoice and as soon as I did I paid the total minus the late fee. I reached out to the office to have them explain the fee and no one ever got back with me however instead of reaching out they decided to charge my debit card on file without my permission. I will be finding a new service.

I was also informed that I was notified of this period I informed a lady that the subdivision was not notified as everybody is still putting their trash out on Tuesday. Thinking of using their residential service dont do it. They have missed pickup 7 times here and there with once a week pickup. Cans sat at street for a week last time and still there, 2 Tuesday in a row. Call in and they say they will call you back, never do and never come pick up til following Tues. Update 5/22/18: After being a happy customer for almost 3 years, I just opened my bill showing a 30% price increase. Who does this? I understand that costs go up but this is too much at one time. Price for trash and recycling is now $18/month but used to be $14/month. Also, you be on hold for over 20 minutes before you can talk to customer service.--------------------------------------------------------------I use Right Away Disposal in Tucson, Arizona. I have been with them for 2 years and have never had any problems with them. They have a much better price than other competitors. One of the main reasons I like them is because their trucks are smaller. This means they dont cause as much wear and tear on the roads as compared to the typical huge trucks. Also, we have children that play in our neighborhood, so it seems safer that their smaller trucks are more likely to see the kids. Overall, I high recommend this company.

I guess they want it on auto pay so they can just increase the cost whenever they want and have it be less noticeable. I wish that I could give this company a negative rating. Long story short, this company use to be great until they were purchased by new owners. Our rate has increased without notice multiple times with in the last several months and they just added an additional $5.95 service fee to our bill after all the random price hikes. Shame on them!! To make it worse, there customer service is awful and it takes forever for anyone to answer the phone. I just requested that our services end (after being with the company for over 4 years) and they told me that I would have to pay over $200.00 to cancel my service since they auto renewed my contract... Mad props for service! I had a large box in my can that stuck fast when trying to dump. That awesome employee got out of the truck, fought the box free, and then placed it loosely across the top of the can to dump again. I watched from my security camera so he went the extra mile not because he knew he was being viewed, but because RAD has some rocking servicemen! I was a customer of RAD for approximately 3-4 months before they were bought out from their current owner and even in that short time, I could tell a HUGE difference in service. My house was getting skipped on pickup days several times. Then once that was figured out, they began to increase their charges WITHOUT notifying us. I could understand the increase in charges but at least notify your customers. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion and could be solved with a simple quarterly newsletter or something similar.

Another customer cancelled with no notice. We have a container full of trash sitting by the road that was supposed to be picked up on Monday. Today (Thursday) we got a letter stating that we were cancelled. No reason given. Our bill is paid in advance. I really thought RAD is the only honest and reliable disposal company after trying out anything else available out here. Little did I know I will feel sorry I went with them. Recently, as others are saying as well they raised the monthly fee. Maybe it wouldnt be that ugly and sudden if they would care to send notices in advance or at least if they had done it progressively. Hitting us at once and out of nowhere makes it really unprofessional. More over, when I decided to downsize the service to just one container instead of two, they did even more to hurt. They charged $20 for picking up one of the two empty containers. Seriously? $20 for your own container pick up, RAD? I am sure they had business in the area for other containers (lots of neighbors decided to downsize just like me), $20 for each pick-up? Are you hitting me because I decided to not pay 30% more just like that? You charge me almost two monthly recycle service fees (a few pick-ups that is) for one trip to get an empty container?I know people say they are still cheaper than the rest, but people, this is not the point here. I mean, they can raise the price whenever they please because we all know about increasing everything. Wait, dont we miss another point? Not everything is increasing, folks. When was the last time your wage increased? At least mine has never done that in the last 6 years, why would I side and condone these guys?Anyway, I am considering my choices now, but of course another $20 bill for removing the only container left, right? This certainly seems like a sorry loser attitude... sour, dishonest and greedy. Really sorry, but true.

$51 to dump some tree branches from the back of my f150, not even completely full. Prices posted were out of date on an 11x8 sheet of paper and not easily seen unless looking for it and already at the service window. Waits just as long as anywhere else. Cant say Ill be going back.

WARNING!! Do not use this company if it can be avoided. They have gradually kicked the rates over the past 6 mths without notice by at least 30-35%. Then if they fail to pick up your trash one morning out of the 4xs a month they pickup, the very hard to deal with and rude dispatcher will refuse to send a driver back out unless you pay a 30$ fee! A 30 dollar fee to pick up your trash, although youve already paid for that trash pick up that THEY failed to do! And when you point out, Why would I pay for a service I already pd for? They have literally no explanation except thats the fee we charge to go back out.. Well do your job right the first time!! And they really need to hire more professional dispatcher. Trash company hiring trash workers.. Guess thats the only sense I can make from it. I will be switching ASAP!

Mike in Truck 104 has been picking up our trash for a while now. I absolutely adore this man. He is always happy, courteous, on time, willing to go the extra mile for us, and not to mention he is a fun guy! I wouldnt want anyone else to every show up but him! I called in to see if they service my area, which they dont.. But the woman I spoke with on the phone was super friendly and helpful! She offered me two other companies she thought may service my area, one of which I had already called and they dont, the other is the one I currently have and Im having issues with.. When I told her my dilemma with my current company she offered me yet another solution. Above and beyond! I wish they serviced my area because my trouble is a really nasty can (got mixed up with my neighbors and theyve got nasty garbage!) and right away disposal would switch it out for a fee but my current company wont at all. She told me a product I can get to try and clean it though. Keep up the awesome customer service! And if you guys begin servicing the Bonanza Highlands area, let us know!!

Weve been with RAD 4 or 5 year, we liked that they took various types of plastics. In the last 6 months they changed our delivery date without notice and they just increased the rate by $21/qtr with no notice. Not to mention EVER time you call you are put on hold for at least 20 to 30 minutes! Im now on hold AGAIN to cancel my service.

Got a phone message this weekend with three days notice of termination of service with no reason why? Every payment has been on time. We were told we would receive a letter justifying the termination. When we received the letter no reason was provided but three alternate companies were. One of which does not do residential trash pickup. This could not have been handled more poorly. Good luck if you use this company

RAD purchased my trash company and I had nothing but problems with them. Once purchased they changed my account number but kept cashing my checks. It took several months for them to figure out what was going on so my hobby was calling accounting every month. Then my cans disappear... I called again.. .turns out they raised the prices on the trash service AND started charging for recycling pickup but never bothered to let me know.RAD may be okay for new service, but the method they use to absorb an existing company is terrible. I would recommend avoiding this company.This worked out in my favor because now I am paying less through Waste Management, go figure...

Pickup service is ok, customer service is average. What they are good at is constantly raising their prices without letting you know.Not sure if switching trash companies will save me any money but I may do it anyway just out of pure spite.

TERRIBLE TRASH SERVICE & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ..... Only thing Consistent about RAD is they are COMPLETELY INCONSISTENT! They say put trash out night before but per HOA& javalinas you cannot so put out a 700am & most of time doesnt pu til afternoon or whenever they get around to you ....... do YOURSELF BIG FAVOR, AVOID RAD like ya do COVID-19,!

As of right now I have a 40 yard dumpster in my driveway that was dropped off from Right Away Disposal. I live at 866 South Evangeline Mesa 85208 if you would like to come see the dumpster they dropped off. It was supposed to straddle the cement pad that they dropped it on and cracked. If you are considering using these guys. PLEASE stop by and view their work first. They damaged my property then came out and laughed in my face.

*Final update - never did get refunded for paid in advance fees. It took them 4 calls and a month to pick up the cans and they billed me $30 anyway over a month later after I was assured a complete refund and no pickup fee.*Update 02/18/19 - Last week my rate went up 40% with no advanced notice. I havent yet received my March-May invoice but theyve debited my account 3 weeks before service. Today, my recycling was picked up but my trash wasnt. The online system has no mechanism for complaints or to cancel service. Im really looking forward to the 30+ minute wait on the phone to cancel.*Update 11/06/18 - Weve now had our trash picked up like clockwork for 3 weeks. Ill keep increasing the rating if this continues....We had used RAD for our trash service at our old house and never had trouble with collection. We moved in to a new subdivision in January 2018 and contracted with them due to our past experience. For 9 months now, weve had terrible service - rarely collected on our collection date, if ever. Weve been accused by CSRs that we arent putting our cans out in time (we put them out the night before, as do our neighbors). Nothing is more frustrating after receiving poor service than to talk with Customer Service and being told that you, the customer, are the problem. Totally unacceptable. Weve become of the opinion that less expensive service is not worth the savings.

I called up the Tucson residential office (different times of day and different days) was immediately transferred to their overflow voicemail. They never called me back in the 24 hours they prommised .. I cannot keep take off of work to wait for their call back. I cannot answer my phone at work as it is not allowed.

The way this company works is to give a low price to get you in and raise the price to be higher than everyone else. Then they dont pick up the phone and they dont call you back. The low review score is real but should be lower.

Poor customer service and ridiculous late fees that should not be applied due to their error!! Wish I could switch companies. Tried to tell me that invoices and notices were sent out in March to the email address on the account, the funny thing is I added that email to the account this past Saturday. Wish they would admit their mistake at not sending a notice and do the right thing.

SCREWED CUSTOMERS ON DIRT ROADSI was a very happy customer until November 2018 when RAD sent a letter telling me that they were discontinuing my service. Called them and found out that they are cancelling service for anyone on a dirt road. I live on a short, wide section of dirt road and aparrently thats enough to get me booted. They said 1100 customers affected. Must be nice to be able to walk away from over $40,000 in residential revenue every quarter.

I have been on hold for many hours waiting to talk to their customer service. This is not an exaggeration. Each time I call I am caller number 60 or above. (Today I was 64). The last two times I called I couldnt wait more than 30 minutes so I had to hang up. This time Ive been on the phone for 21:25 minutes and Ive gone all the way up to number 49. I broke 50 so Im proud. No one should treat their customers like this. Why are there always so many people calling? Are there problems with the service?
