One of the busiest stores in East valley and yet theres always only one cashier working at all times. Kudos to Rosemary who never complains and diligently checks people out even though theres a huge line of customers and shes the only cashier. Rosemary is a five star, however, the store has got to get it together as far as customer service. They lack it big time.

Normally the cashiers are pleasant and kind. However, yesterday, the old lady cashier was so rude…I didn’t realize she was closed after the customer in front of me until she crabbed. Well excuse me for not knowing. Maybe think about your attitude and be more pleasant next time. There’s a nice way to tell me you’re closing after the that person.

Good deals on every day items. Just be aware that everything is no longer 99cents. Many items are 99cents, but not all. Some items cost more than 99cents. But the prices are competitive.

Always find what I want and More---wish they where still 99cent-- where I did not have to worry about what I got would be more than 99

Every time I shop there Im amazed at how much money I save on great products.

I have called the Apache Junction 99 store today twice. Both times rings multiple times. When I call back again both times I get a busy signal immediately after. In between those calls I called the nerest Mesa branch and they answered. I feel like the store maybe purposely taking the phone off the hook at the Apache Junction store. Very frustrating. Also so many people come and go its just hasnt been the same excellent customer service experiance since the last couple of years

The store is typical of its type, but have noticed a serious lack of products as of late. At this time it is still a good place to find those unusual items at a good price. I have noticed a lot of products that dont meet the .99 cent catagory.

So many things that I have paid more for elsewhere. They have more and more that is NOT $.99. Enjoy the deals. Nice employees. Dirty bathroom.

So the managers boss never called me back after a slip and fall from a large amount of water on the floor two days ago. Everytime I am in this store I get the impression the staff doesnt care about anything. A customer was more caring if I was okay. The manager made me feel dismissed and not valued as a costumer. I had to go to the e.r. for my leg injury. Its sprained . I am missing over a weeks worth of work because of this incident. I cant do my job on crutches and with leg brace from mid leg to ankle. I was told to stay off of it has much as possible. I am disappointed with how this whole situation has been handle this far. I will find somewhere else to shop.

Fun. Cool stuff for cheap. I bought cute beach bags for $6.99 that would have cost at least $12.99 elsewhere and the quality is good!

This is a great place for the every day produce at a great price. Greeting cards, gift bags, party supplies are very nice and so reasonable. Sunglasses?? What a deal!! So much fun to have several pair to pick from to suit my outfit or mood. Keep up the good work!!!

Very disappointed. If the store is named 99Cents Only why do they have items that are more than 99 Cents. It use to be an interesting place to shop now not so much. Wont be going back anytime soon.

Store closes far too early and probably spends more time and energy trying to hurt people out like cattle then it would take to just keep somebody there all night WinCo does just fine 24/7 theres no reason this one needs closed ever

The popular chain store is good for alot of things, but you must shop wise,at 99cents, the bill can climb fast. But I there is good stuff here, including wine if thats your thing.

Its nice to get back to Apache Junction from Wisconsin the 99 cent store has got everything so convenient Organics they really took the place of Food City better than Walmart not so much that You dont need. Never know what youre going to find there also the wine selection is usually interesting I like to mix the Reds together blend red blend Im so thankful for all the folks that work there they do a great job dedication keep smiling in the adversity

I havent shopped here for years, but my brother in-law wanted to stop by. The place was clean and many odds and ends of needful things to choose from.

The people who work there are a very nice appreciate their customer service. I need to see the artist collection of people going in and out of that store its always a surprise or what you might see. But nobody is ever really mean or angry or upset about lines or anything at the 99 cent store

The staff are always very nice there and helpful if you have any questions. Ive always had a good experience when I have went there.

When I used to work here, everyone tried their best to interact with the customers. I understand having a bad day sometimes and not having the will to really have a conversation but EVERYTIME I have gone in there since, the new employees outright refuse to look up at you and have the demeanor they are awaiting some cruel fate. Very depressing, just glad the rest of the store is still well kept!

This is better than most grocery stores. Huge range of snacks.

Most items are an excellent deal! No celery or raspberries today but other produce was a good deal (bag of 7 Persian cucumbers or 1 pound baby carrots for $1). Selection of baked goods and produce varies weekly. Their 100% whole wheat bread is good and always available. Some item are $1.99 or more, so look for stickers before you buy. Love this place!

Advertised a toy in a email sent to me in Arizona, I was told those prices were only good in California.Did not appreciate my time being wasted. No where on the email did it say offer good only in California

Love the 99cents stores I can afford everything

I like to be surprised when I go there. I always am. However when I need some everyday stuff I can always find it.I go in once a month with 20 bucks and by the time I leave Im happy.

Great selection! Everything in stock. Shelves are neat. Can always find more than you are looking for. Service isnt that great. Never enough registers. However that has been getting better lately!

I love this place because they always have great items and very nice staff... with that being said I hate how many druggies hang out here!!! It doesnt feel safe going down the toy section with my kid while some guy is tweaking out! There needs to be some kind of regulation.

Lotta rude A.J. trash perusing the lanes looking for cheap stuff to fill their trailer with instead of looking for jobs. Other than that... Staff is very friendly, supply is ample. You can find most anything you need, cheaper than convenient stores and the nearby Safeway. Great place to get beverages, school and cleaning supplies.

I feel I have to say this as a warning to all. The manager at this store follows people around like as if you are shoplifting. So I walk in and she is following me. This store has a little secret though, thee have a great wine selection. Not cheap wine, they have very tasty wines with a cheap price.

Crowded. Dont buy electronics there but all the rest a pretty fair deal

Mixed bag here. High traffic, dirty store in a sketchy but oft-policed area yet some spectacular deals such as large Heinz ketchup that would run you close to $3 anywhere else for under a bucks. How about those Hungry Man XL frozen dinners or a triple pack of Kraft mac and cheese, both under $1. Best by dates typically 30+ days out so adequate time to enjoy your savings.

Used to love this place. No longer have any deals. No longer a dollar store, just dollar and more. No way I am paying $2 for stale bread. Always have to watch expiration dates over a year outdated at times

This is the smaller store. Good size parking, access to main streets. Good variety of goods and quality produce. Quick to respond if lines are getting long, and customer service is friendly. Airconding durning the summer months is fantastic.

My visit went well....I was pleasantly surprised at all the Fall decor (better than DT). Looking forward to seeing their Christmas decorations.

May 10th around 8:00 pmI asked a woman with black hair and glasses if I could have a discount on an item that was bent and she said no because I should expect things to be broken coming from a 99 cent store. I told her the item was 3.99 and when I purchase something from a store, I don’t expect it to be broken. It’s not a thrift store. She was incredibly rude and nasty with the way she talked to me. As if, how dare I ask for a discount. Lol. If my daughter wasn’t with me, I definitely would’ve made a bigger deal while in store. I’m not complaining that I didn’t get a discount to be clear, I bought the item anyways. I am complaining about the attitude and the way she handled the whole thing.

This is a clean store with a friendly staff. They have a lot of products to offer at incredible prices. I love shopping here for the holidays.

Great price for produce. Great place to get deals. The only reason I gave it 3 starts is the homeless pollution that hangs out here. Everytime I go to the bathrooms there is a homeless person in it strung out. The cleanliness and long lines are an issue too. Would still go here. Just not always a quick stop.
