I am new to Mediacom, so far not so good. After a week I am having unstable internet service. My wife works from home and depends on the internet to work. Called and made appointment, get a phone call telling me that a the tech was overbooked and will not be able to make it out, well not my problem! We are paying a lot of money for your service, so it better work. Now we have to wait until tomorrow evening? How is my wife going to work? Unacceptable!!! Your service is poor and your customer service is poor and your tech service is poor! Will update this review with how the service turns out.
They get paid every month but I still have the same issues with connectivity.
The worst internet service I have ever had. I have called at least 10 times about the same issue with no resolution. I only have internet about 50% of the time and have experienced only terrible customer service.
Oh boy where do I begin, if I could give 0 stars I would because this is by far the worst service Ive ever had for internet, weve had at least 15-20 techs out to our place and even a supervisor and none of them did anything at all, they come in check the modem lights and the speed and leave, its the same thing every time they come out, nothing ever gets fixed, oh and the best thing is they will try to charge you for having too many techs come out and try to blame the problems on your equipment. We pay for the best speed they offer which is the 1000mb download and it runs worse than my cousins 100mb Cox internet in Mesa. Also my friend that lives out in AJ 5 minute drive from me has the exact same problem, we both get massive packet loss all the time and unstable connection, its probably there terrible wiring out in AJ. I would save yourself the time and never go with this company, TMobile internet is now offered out in AJ, I would go with that for sure, you can thank me later. Mediacom is only good for one thing and thats lip service.
If I could use another provider I would but its my only option in Queen Valley. My wifi drops constantly. Currently I have been without service since yesterday evening. They dont update their website for outages and when you call them to ask the status they are extremely rude.
I have had 7 service techs come out and try to fix my internet and none of them knew what they were doing or talking about. This is the absolute worst service you can get they have outages way to often and never know what is going on. I will take centurylink over them.
I don’t have an account, however I have a pedestal in my yard. A crew came and worked on the pedestal today and left my landscape rocks buried under the dirt they dug up. They left an orange conduit exposed on top of my landscape. They left materials and small parts laying in my yard. I know it is Apache Junction right of way. But this is someone with no respect, or pride in their work.
Mediacom is terrible. Service is slow and keeps dropping me. Do Not Use. I am looking into an alternative company.
If I could give no stars, I would. Aside from untrained and rude customer service the internet itself is overpriced! The WiFi goes out at least 20 times a day ( no exaggeration I’ve counted) and for tens of minutes at a time. For people that learn and work from home this is extremely frustrating and with little options around for other services it’s easy to say “best in Apache Junction “ with no proof. Useless company

One day late automatic shut off worst internet company Ive ever delt with stay away from medicom. Stay away from their service employee very rude and their prices are high especially for people on social security.they have no sympathy towards The low income people.
Trust me, if I could use another provider, I would. Typical stuff, promise Bill to be 1 price for 2 years and then blame local stations that the price is going up. Started service 3vyears ago at a guaranteed price if 150 for tv, internet and phone,, it is now over 180. .. It Did Not jump all at once, it started shortly after I got it. Out here in the east Valley it is the only home phone provider that bundles. Maybe I shouldnt insist on bundling.....

Horrible all around, internet never works, techs have no clue what they are doing, management has no clue what they are doing. It blows my mind how bad this company is. Tech told wife she needs to climb in the attic to find a box that was installed by Mediacom!? What a joke

Just continue reading all of the other reviews and we all are saying the exact same thing.I moved out this way to find out Mediacom was the only fiber optic provider in the Gold Canyon, Apache Junction area. So I had little choice but to go with them. Over 9 years this company has been consistent in horrible service, they always have FULL AREA OUTAGES and they constantly have excuses as to why. Their outages last usually between 4 to 16 hours and you get several outages in the same week back to back, day after day!!! A lot of people these days work from home and I am one of them, so you can take what I am telling you straight to the bank. My job has been threatened due to the constant unavailability I have because of Mediacom. They also will never ever and I mean never call you back! I have been on the phone with them for hours on end with promises a supervisor will call me back, I have endless notes regarding all of my wasted time with this company. I will go century link now because thats it. I had Cox for 15 years prior with maybe 5 outages in that whole span of time that I can even remember having, and those outages were never longer than 30 minutes. This was my last straw after 3 days in a row once again of outages and now I am forced to write a review so more people will know. Quite simply Mediacom does not care and they should leave this area and let Cox take over and do us all a favor. Dont bother trying their service out because you will be disappointed just like the rest of us and AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!
After experiencing inconsistent internet speeds, a technician was able to rewire my connection and I now get the speed Im paying for. Technician was friendly as was the customer service representative.
I pay way over price with mediacom and everyday I been having problems with the internet!
Mediacom is unable to provide any internet whatsoever in a reliable manner. They ignore and deflect complaints and attempt to charge you any time you have a service tech to your house. Even if they acknowledge it is a mediacom issue. I look forward to a legal battle with Mediacom some day soon
The office is great! Calling on the phone not so much.
Second time they have not shown. They did not even call! I called at 11 when I was told they were running behind. An hour and half after we should have been served I called to be told they called and I did not answer which was a lie!!! I have been waiting by the phone for four hours! I was transferred to a supervisor who told me they called me and told me that I missed the call. I told him their was no way. He said my statement was contradictory to his technicians. I am furious about how this has been handled. We already waited a week!!! Not professional at all!
I got this service a few months ago for internet and its down more than its up. I cant get a hold of anyone to fix it. I read the bad reviews but since the options are very limited where I live I still went for it and WOW! Very unhappy, really bad service and terrible customer service. Its very frustrating since Im trying to do some work from home.Edit: I Just spent 45 min on hold with them and got hung up on. Been trying to get my internet running. 🤷🏼♀️
Recently filed bankruptcy within one month including Mediacom. Consistently for the last two weeks I have received calls out of the West Des Moines call center I specifically the agent Julie who was very rude would not transfer me to a supervisor and consistently talked about a bill that was included in bankruptcy. This agent refused to get a supervisor on the line stating that they were too busy to speak to anyone. I called back and got an agent named Cassandra explained the situation to her she is also located in the West Des Moines call center. Stated that she was going to transfer me to a supervisor and transferred me to a storefront were a counter agent home is not working a call center and could not physically contact a supervisor without reaching out to the call center to have someone speak to me. At this point the company is setting a setup up for a libel claim by consistently violating bankruptcy laws and specifically to a bankruptcy that has been filed over a month ago naming Mediacom.
I pay months ahead and get the worst treatment. They say the contact you when they dont. They tell you its your modem and want to rent you a new modem. Bought a new one and same problem happens. Problem since Feb. and here it is July 13 and still same problem. Tech. is supposed to show up and they dont. Here the kicker wont give me credit unless the problem is fixed. Want you to buy the business service, so you pay twice the amount for same service. Wish there was another reliable choice in Apache Junction, AZ. I do not recommend mediacom. Save your money. July 15, 2020 Supposedly fixed now, until next break down. Credit was 2 months and for internet only. Not full bundle package. I had problems for 5 months. You think they would be fair. Not at all. As soon as i can and find another company that is reliable with their services, then i will change over. Monopoly with this company.
Annnnd were back to 1 star. After 14 months of having Mediacom (the only option for my internet service until we get Starlink) the issue is back and worse than ever. They also had 3 outages in 2 days for 2-4 hours each.Worst service provider Ive ever seen, and they charge premium prices to boot.Updated Review December 2020: Came back to update to 2 stars. For anyone having long-standing issues with Mediacom, I was able to resolve after 7 months by filing an FCC complaint. This caused them to take the issues I was having with my connection seriously, and they finally sent maintenance technicians out to replace parts on their infrastructure feeding into my home.It has been running much better, but has begun to degrade again. Giving 2 stars, up from 1. So long as it holds Ill probably update to 3 since they did resolve the issue.Initial Review August 2020: Absolute worst service company I have ever seen in my life. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Their techs are just like customer service reps and have a list of things to turn off and on and that’s about it. They have been unable to fix issues for the entire community that I live in for 7 months.When they respond to service calls, they lie about the root cause just to get out of the call. I’ve had no less than 10 service calls, and they finally started trying to charge for them to get me to stop calling because they can’t fix their service. The techs admit it’s an issue present on their side, and that they can’t seem to fix it, while the customer service reps apparently see no open tickets on any known area issues. It’s a complete run-around. I will literally sell my house to get away from this completely unusable service, and recommend the next home buyer get a mobile hotspot instead of purchasing any service from Mediacom.They are literally the only provider for my area. The second that a new option becomes available I’m switching in a heartbeat. I pay for their top package. I would literally pay another company more for dial up internet at this point, at $1,000/month running on servers in another country, and it would be more reliable and acceptable than this absolute comedic routine that is Mediacom.

By far the most inept group of people I’ve ever come in contact with in my 50 years. Someone at the top should be fired. The entire company needs restructuring. Their equipment is cheap, we lose internet every other week, and there is zero sense of urgency to fix your problem. Ron, the local supervisor here in the Apache Junction area refused to give his direct supervisors name and number. I wonder why. The MOMENT another provider comes in with the same speed, we’re out as are thousands of others. Things need to drastically change with this company. Read the reviews for yourself.
My mom has had Media com services for over 25 years. Her land line and WiFi is always going out. At least 2 times a month she has to unplug the Modem and wait a few minutes and plug it back in for it to start working again. She has now been without both of them again for a week with 2 service appointments that no one has shown up for. She is an 84 year old lady that lives alone and needs her land line. This is not acceptable!!!

The service is terrible, cable and internet service goes down way too frequently. When I was managing a very large data center and its ancillary networks, and the availability was as poor as mediacom, I would have been fired. When calling to report issues, I get connected to a representative in the Philippines who not only understands the situation but is powerless to do anything about it. Their most common excuse is they are doing maintenance. If that is true, why isnt this done at night? Secondly, if maintenance is the issue, why are they not properly training their people? The last comment is they have a monopoly in our area, leaving us no alternative other going to a satellite dish. We dont get anywhere near the value we pay for every month.
As a new customer, I was returning a loaned modem and customer rep in store was a bit rude. The associate she started to assume I kept the plug to modem without asking me if the loaner modem came with the cord or not . and begun to charge me fees. It was not nice to be blamed for extra fees for product I never received without being asked.Also the location in Apache Junction at their door states that all customers wear mask due to covid-19 but the customer before me was let in without a mask. Obviously the mask rules are not being followed at this location. Use caution if you visit this location.

We just had Mediacom installed with Raphael, he was awesome!! Now lets see how it goes!!! We just moved here to Az, we had AT&T which was great. Hopefully these other reviews are.......
One of our 2 cable boxes stopped working..took 4 days to get someone here..once here, it took him 90 min to check wiring🤔Then when new cox installed..problem solved (took 5 min) ridiculous to have to check wiring when we knew it was just the box bc we got cable working from other box😡
Worst internet ever I suppose to have the fastest internet they offer and nothing changed. Still no internet at times. Always says connected no internet. Soon as I find one in my area thats better Im changing.
Don’t use this company. I’ve been waiting one month for my service to be repaired. No one can give me answers on the job ticket. I’ve been promised credits new modem. A tech that will be out to repair the line. One month later no credit no modem no tech. But they have no problem withdrawing money from my account for service I don’t have. Mind blowing. What’s even more mind blowing they will just hit me with a BS auto response to my review tell me to contact them. If you want to keep customers maybe the company should contact the customer to remedy the problem.
The internet service goes out constantly
Absolutley aweful service...always going out and instead of a person when you call you get a recording and to get to a live person is horrendous. Upped my bill $25 2 months ago but service still goes out constantly. Only reason I am still with them us because I do not have a choice where I live. If you thought Spectrum was bad this bad service tops them

Horrible! Service has gone down 5 days in a row with absolutely no explanation other than “we’re sorry we’re working on it.” So much for trying to work at home and stay employed. Weve been hooked up now for six months and the first three weeks the service was intermittent at best. A tech came out a week after calling in and he told me that it was too cold in Arizona for the switch in the box. REALLY, too cold in Arizona. Well that hot fixed and has worked pretty well up until the last week to ten days and now were without service again. No cable or internet. Ive been told that the city if Apache junction has an exclusive ontract with Mediacomm for service. Its about time they rethink the contract and open it up for rebid. This is the worst provider I believe weve ever had anywhere weve lived. And no local phone contact either, just the 855 number where s computer answers and sets up appointments one to two weeks down the road.

My family tried setting up services with Mediacom, had the equipment delivered and all. Was told service would be start on a Monday. Monday came and went with only a call stating that something had to be done before we could get services started. Would be given a call back. Nothing. Called again only to find that our order had been cancelled. No explanation. Agent said oh well set up everything just the same way and a tech will be out between 8 and 8:30 Saturday morning. Asked the agent to make sure we could get Mediacom service, was assured that we could. Saturday comes, no tech. No call. Called for the third time only to be told that in our part of town, there is no Mediacom service and may not be for six months. The following Monday received a flyer in the mail from Mediacom saying we can get service in our area. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. It is obvious that they are not an upstanding company and allow their agents to lie to potential customers about getting service. Will never do business with this company.

Not going to lie, the internet is good, that is why it was two stars, BUT my internet was not working so I called, and they told me to go pick up a new modem. So I did. Worked great at first then continued to do the same thing, go in and out. I called and made an appointment for that day. The tech called and said he ran out of time and rescheduled for the next day. Mediacom called BUT CALLED THE WRONG NUMBER so they put appointment on hold. The lady that left the voicemail even admitted to it. Called back, now theres an outage in the area, so now they have to reschedule. NEXT APPOINTMENT NOT FOR ANOTHER 6 DAYS. Sat on hold with their claims department, and all they could do was move it up to 4 days from now. THEY CANCELLED ON ME TWICE SO NOW I HAVE TO PAY THE PRICE AND WAIT??? Not okay in my book!! All they could do for me was credit me time lost of $70. Not okay with me either. This company apparently needs to hire more techs and take care of the clients they have. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told I was talking to the department that handle complaints. Would not give me a phone number or email address to her supervisor. I am reporting this company to the BBB. Im looking at other options. If I good get Cox, I would have cancelled right then and there.
Mediacom gave me the worse experience with cable and internet, I have never had these problems with any other service, staff is nice but they don’t seem to know what they are doing. I don’t recommend em to anyone. Im cancelling my service today !
When we had Mediacom we NEVER had any problems. Great service, great TV packages, Phone service great. No Complaints. We moved now and we are like 26 miles away, but Mediacom has not made it to our area yet! Wish they would hurry and do that! Put Dish, Direct, and Cox outta business!!!
Not good service at all over the phone. The guys that come out are great! I loose my internet every morning around 5am to 6:15am They always have service outages..I mean always!!!!!
Said i had a copyright strike. One more and ill lose their service forever. Guess you need to be some kind of computer software engineer to know 100% of the activity through my modem. I never download anything illegally. I use netflix and hulu. Seems unfair to me. Said if i wanted service back then they would have to snoop on my computer! BAD! SHAME ON YOU. Did you find everything you were looking for? Im pretty heated.
Our internet has been out for 10 hours straight. I will be calling for the 5th time regarding this outage. Thankfully there was a guarantee in service or my money back for switching with them. I will be reviewing on how that goes aswell 🤞
I posted a few months ago but wanted to edit my review even worse than before. 10 technicians have been out and have yet to be able to fix my internet issues. I call and it gets rescheduled or some “technician” comes out and it works worse after they are done. If you have any choice at all for an internet provider choose anyone over mediacom they are horrible. Our cable was constantly dropping out as well. Swapped to dish and hVe had no issues
Paying $100 a month for gig speed, getting 50mps. Just keep charging me and sending service to “fix” speed. Never more than 50mps since nov 2016. Customer service is horrible. People are rude and dismissive. Also, fraudulently charged my debit card, told me the would process refund. Didn’t and had to stop payment thru bank. Avail them at all costs. If there was an alternative I would switch!?!?
Good service and reasonable prices. I had a great package from where I lived in a condominium so I was extremely happy with them.
The service is amazing and when I rarely have an issue the customer service is fast and resolves my issue. You can tell they smile and have fun at their jobs!
Nice office staff but poor delivery of technology. First technician left without fixing the problem. Second tech got it right by just changing the TV receiver box
I plugged in a different TV. I could not get any signal. After talking with the service, whom was very polite and professional and polite, I ended up taking the cable box in for an exchange. She was very polite and no questions asked when I explained the problem. The TV is now on. Great signal.
The gentleman I spoke with yesterday was really friendly. I came to swap my modem out. The woman behind the counter was a little flustered and brushed me of without fully listening to my concerns because there was an outage. I came yesterday to exchange my modem because I was instructed to by customer service. The woman behind the counter said, Well you can exchange it if you REALLY want to. This made me feel unsure of what to do since customer service told me to eclxchange the modem at 8:35am and the outage was declared at 8:50am.Update: Now today is the following day. Phone-in customer service has told me the outage has been fixed and I still need a replacement. The (same) woman behind the counter was extremely helpful. So I am going to chalk up yesterdays snafu to her just being flustered yesterday with the outage. Thanks for helping me today and going above and beyond.
Website showed hours on Saturday 10am to 2pm. Arrived at service center at 1:03pm to return equipment for the season. The door was locked and a sign pasted on the door said they closed at 1pm. A worker was there but just ignored me. Now we have to delay our departure date from AZ 2 days to return equipment.Get the hours of operation correct on website.
Just a customer service counter really. They seemed friendly enough and were fairly fast and efficient. Not much else to say, just two customer service stations.

Worst ISP i have ever used. Goes down 1-2 times per month. Typically the outages last 3 plus hours. In todays ages this is unacceptable. I understand brief outages occasionally however not multiple times a month for extended periods of time. Please baby jesus lets get 5g rolling asap! Lets ditch these monopoly isp companies . The corporate office will state a negative review is called review blackmail and offering to remove it once the wrong is righted is frowned upon by them, the companys response after a few emails back and forth ignoring my points being made is very sad. They have tried even re-stating something I said was not and is not accurate, There is just no assistance to be had. I received a call at almost 10pm from a real rude guy to continue to poke at me and belittle my attempts to right a wrong. This company is shameful at best and grotesque at worst.At this time, we are not able to make any adjustment to the collection service or delinquent balance until our investigation concludes. Since this account is not an active one, that means to restore service you would need to pay the full amount on file, the installation fees, and then the first month as any new customer would. We are happy to assist in that portion of the account as much as we can if you choose to do so while we complete our review.BUYER BEWARE Unbelievable the way they treated me, cancelled my service gave me hundreds of dollars of overages and treated me as if I was scum of the earth on the phone. This as to be the worst internet provider experience I ever had during my last 15 years of internet uses. Internet is completely unstable. Random high pings, loosing connection randomly, unstable download and upload speed ranging from 1kbps to 15mbps, dns issues from times to times and so on. I cant believe I am still paying for that service that is more a problem than a solution. I most be crazy. PS: I cant even post my review using that BS connection, I have to which to my phone internet connection, this is insane.
Friendly and knowledgeable employees but they sometimes it could take 20 mins or so to get to the counter. I guess with only 2 customer service people thats not so bad.

I have tried really hard not to post a bad review but I have yet to have a single month of no issues with my network Im tired of it. Another company needs to move into my area so I can pay for stable internet this company apparently does not know how to do business. I hoped they would get things figured out at some point, however, they have disappointed month after month and not just with me but people I talk to as well its very sad that no other companys will move out there because it would not make immediate profits for them.
I live in a rural area we’re only MediaCom cable internet and century link DSL exist. Neither is satisfactory, and MediaCom is the worst. They have frequent unplanned outages. Additionally, they have planned outages for which they do not inform their customers. I’m currently in the midst of one that is going into its 10th hour. A “planned Maintenance“ (for which there is no notice) ran into some complications, and they cannot give me any idea when Service will resume. This is Standard for MediaCom.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. We were supposed to have installation on Saturday and they claimed they called when they don’t have my phone number because they refuse to update it. Now we have to wait for a week to get service when I work from home and my wife is missing her master level online courses. This is costing us thousands of dollars. Can’t wait for them to hear from my lawyer. Hey Mediacom, give me a call when you see this if you can handle that.

I had Cox but they got way too expensive. I came to Mediacom and they have been great. Just make sure you make them set up your equipment properly, and you are good. Everything has been on par or better than Cox, and Im paying 40% less. The only thing Im missing is GOLtv, which is replaced by FS1.
Better than Century link but sometimes has some growing pains I only get internet with them had a few issues their trouble shooting department was quick and professional after a few tries determined it was the modem, got a new one and no issues since
This has been the worst provider I have ever experienced. I live in Gold Canyon, AZ. Internet always going in and out. Was promised great connections. Each time I call and report issue they say lets look at you computer. I say how about, Just send a tech out and fix it. The internet is how my wife makes a living, and my daughter is doing online schooling.I advise others to not use Mediacom.
Mediacom needs lots and lots of improvement. They need to ensure better connection for all of their customers. They need to have constant maintenance and repairing everyday, to ensure no outages, issues, loss of customers. Also, I have friends and family who also say they get constant outages and lagging and issues, so some improvement with the service near ironwoodAnd southern, plus the streeet next to Cactus Canyon High School has bad connection which my friend lives next to. So please just improve your connection and get rid of the constant outages.

This companys own personnel cannot tell if you owe for service or for equipment return and then they continue to charge for services that you dont have once you have returned the equipment (thereby prohibiting use of their services) simply because their technicians can take up to 20 days to get to the pole to terminate service. Lousy service, lousy customer service (you will feel like the ball in a tennis match). Really disappointing service in a country where this is our ONLY GNP.
Called today because our Internet was down yet again. Was down 3 weeks ago and tech support stated that I needed a new modem because my other modem was bad. Was able to get a tech out with a new modem that looked like it was sitting in the dirt somewhere. When I asked him about it he stated that he left his back window open and drove down a dusty road. When I called medicom, I asked if it would be the dirt what was on the new modem and the agent said she didnt know and that all the equipment is refurbished. I called medicom again and was told another story that the Internet is down in my area and theyre working on fixing it. This seems to happen every other day. Internet speeds are very slow WHEN working. Just called another Internet and cable provider. Cant wait to get them out for install. Word to the wise: to save you time and money....GO WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER!!!!!!!
I have internet through Mediacom, and it is constantly going out. Theyve sent techs out 3 times to check my lines, which are always fine. Then they blame the modem, which, when replaced, never fixes the issue for long. Use anyone else if you can!
After being a loyal customer for years it was time to change. The service was never good. We called a few times and did the change of modem but nothing got better. Now that our bill continues to go up we are done!

Ive had it with this company my internet dropping from time to time and not getting any help when I call it in just last night they scheduled me an appointment that I didnt even want and the issue wasnt resolved youre reading this I wouldnt recommend this place it sucks
Have my online and cable thru them, a average price but very few choices where I live,got a advertisement from Dish there second price choice of channels was the same as the channels I have from Mediacom, Mediacom no contract ! What happens after the contract ends? The price goes up! Readed a few of the other post had a problem at first but Mediacom corrected it and I am happy with my service
One star only because it is the lowest you can go. Over one year with the same problem. Ten techs and maintenance visits and they still cant get things working right. Unfortunately no other options in Queen Valley so we are stuck.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have a residential bundle and business package with them and it is a rip off. I went to add a channel that their on demand service said they had. I call and they tell me they do not offer that channel in my area. Then they tell me mediacom does not offer that channel at all. I asked to speak with a supervisor they told me the supervisor was busy and could not come to the phone. I asked why if on demand shows the channel I cannot get it. They then revert back to it is not offered in my area. Stupid people and non existent service! I’ll be canceling all services. Don’t bother getting mediacom they are the worst!Rewind a few months I could not get onto my WiFi I called three times each time they said everything was fine. I said how is it fine if I do not even see my WiFi name? Someone had called in and changed my entire account! I am the only person on my account and no body thought it was odd that someone wanted to change everything on the account? I had been calling for months about overages on my account and no one at mediacom put 2 and 2 together. I asked them to put additional security questions when calling in. They agreed to that but not 1 time that I’ve called since have they asked for the additional security questions.Not only does my internet go out all the freakin time I pay for high speed and only get max 40mbps. They have awful service and terrible customer service! Do yourself a favor and go with ANYONE else!Just now a “supervisor” decided to call me back and this is how he begins the conversation “ummm, Vanessa right yeah ok ummm hi Vanessa?” Wow, ok please do not get a dumb co worker to call pretending to be a supervisor. Yeah canceling all services once I get an intelligent being on the line!

I guess it has to be an ok company since I only have 2 to choose from in my area right? Direct Internet is perfect but the WiFi? ISSUES EVERY FREAKING HOUR OF EVERY FREAKING DAY. WTH ARE WE PAYING FOR?
From day 1 never had a quality product. Over a yr ive had spotty internet, switch routers fixed the issue for a few days... six months of spotty service i finally call to cancel and get tokd to upgrade.. what a joke Rather throw 90$ n the toilet then give it to these clowns..
On January 18th I had a service appointment scheduled for between 5 and 7,at 7:10 I called so called customer service and was told first that he was running behind but let me check and see when he will be there. They come back on the line and said he was already there and nobody was home. HES A LIAR!!!!! They had 2 phone number to call and neither one received a call. We have the Ring video doorbell and the alarm was never triggered and it picks up movement near the road. IveI had there service for over a month and have only came close to the speed of 500mps that Im signed up for the first couple of days. Most of the time it barely breaks 100mps. I had better speed with Cox 100 than I do with Mediacoms 500. I am supposed to be getting a call from the AJ manager which I doubt will happen. Right now my recommendation is dont get Mediacom!!!!!!
I didnt have access to my account. I have just talked to a good guy at Mediacom and he walked me thru the system. Took a long time to find (him) but all is well now.
It seems a little too generous to give this company one star. We have have a technician and maintenance out to our house at least 10 times, and our internet still comes and goes. Ill be talking on our home phone and my call will be dropped without any warning. My husband and I both made calls to them over the last few days and no one has showed up to try to fix it. My husband is taking online classes, and hes unable to go through an entire class without having to unplug the modem and scramble to get the internet back on. If you are able, go with a different internet company!
Ever since 8am this morning my internet has gone out and it has done this multiple times. It puts me back on school work and youtube and its inconvenient. No im going to contact your email service team. JUST MAKE YOU INTERNET BETTER!
Update: The worst internet provider hands down. Every other day I’m losing connection.Customer service is usually very helpful. But we can NEVER keep an Internet connection. When the techs come out here all they do is switch out the modem, a temporary fix. I would not likely sign up with them again. The only plus is that you arent locked into a contract unlike dish or cox.
Worst service Ive ever experienced. TV doesnt work, prices are high, workers come in vehicles without hubcaps and service personel are unprepared and poorly qualified. Terrible company! Dont sign up with them!

I would give zero stars if an option but I cant log in long enough to even do that. You hold forever on tech support, cannot get decent customer service and are charged an arm and a leg for crapshoot service. I am seriously thinking of switching back to century link. I wish we could get Cox!!!
