Part 2: Please see owners response to my 1 star review. Telling someone “within the hour” is not an appointment. I specifically told him to call when he was on his way. Our time is no less valuable. My whole point, we chose to give him an opportunity to earn our business. He did not handle himself professionally and he spoke to a customer with belligerent anger and disrespect.Part 1: I couldn’t believe it, I called and they were willing to come today to measure for a mirror sandblasted with logo for a new business. I asked him to call when they were on their way to be sure I was there because the business isn’t open. Steve, said he would be there within the hour. I repeated, call me when you’re on your way and I will meet you there. He called after he already arrived and I was 2 miles away at our other business. It took me less than five minutes to get there from the time of the call. He was extremely rude and told me I wasted his time. He proceeded to chastise me and tell me he could be somewhere else making money. I explained that I wasn’t going to wait for an hour until he arrived. This is upwards of a $1500 job for a new business which would result in tons of referrals. I’m flabbergasted at how he behaved. He told me he could be at home holding his grandbabies. I asked him to leave without doing the measurement. I’m still stunned.

Steve got us in immediately and when we arrived he came out to look at the rock chip we needed fixed. He assessed that the chip had already been repaired once (not very well) but that it was best to leave it alone as it was actually OK. He looked our windshield over for more chips but told us they were very surface pits and likely not to spread. Steve was very honest and professional and we left feeling confident and very well taken care of. And no charge for the time he spent assessing and talking to us! I highly recommend Steve.

Caught Steve at home today where he performed a fast chip repair on my car rental. A few dollars to him will hopefully prevent a full windshield deductible! Fast and pleasant. A very happy customer.

The big storm last week caused one of our glass patio doors to shatter. I called Hardy Glass around 5:00 pm not sure if I would get the answering machine since it was late. But no, Steve answered and said he would come over and take a look. He came right away, helped clean up the broken glass and cover the hole with cardboard and tape. He left us with a reasonable estimate, ordered the replacement glass (3.75 ft x 6.5 ft) and was back a few days later to put it in. Thank you Hardy Glass!

The owner did the work on our Jeep windshield and did a great job negotiating with Allstate to have it replaced due to a big chip right in the drivers view. The windshield went in nicely and no longer leaks air around it like the last one we had installed. He was prompt and really knew what he was doing.

Just had my windshield replaced by the owner Steve which I didnt know until he was done great service fast service with a great warranty.

My rear quarter window broke on my 2001 GMC Sierra on a friday Evening right before 5pm. Called three places and no one would touch it until the following Monday. Needed it fixed ASAP. Steve came to my house and installed my new window. He was pressed for time and still squeezed me in that night! He did a great job and provided excellent customer service for a fair price! I will use him again to replace the other window. Great job!
