My mother was looking to adopt a horse here to keep with mine, we come from a ranch which we’ve had for many years with horses and cattle, as soon as we walked in to the facility we were greeted so rude by Maria who assumed that we didn’t know anything about horses compared to her, this small woman was just trying to drive us away and telling us we couldn’t look at any horses even though we had made an appointment already to do just that. I’m not sure if she does this with everyone or just Mexicans since it felt very much like she was attacking us for some reason. I wouldn’t donate or sponsor this facility when they have fancy cars parked outside and the facility doesn’t have much of an investment to it. It seems they are trying to get as much money as they can without even trying to get these horses to go to a good home they can enjoy. They have too many horses here that it’s overpopulated and they would rather receive $300 every month for a year before you can adopt rather than give those horses a better life.

Kind loving people and volunteers, who care for horses that have horrible stories to tell, the beautiful horses now have a second chance in life thanks to there rescue.

My wife & I have been here for about 4 months now & the experience has been AMAZING. As an army vet, this place has been very therapeutic, from the horses, to Maria, to the volunteers who come by, we love it all! Its awesome to learn about the horses & their behavior! As far as the few negative reviews Ive seen from previous workers/volunteers, its pretty obvious that you couldnt handle the workload required here & were told to leave & that left a bitter taste in your mouth. People come here thinkin they can just skate by, working a few hours a day in exchange for a place to live...Negative, caring for these horses is a full-time job. - Jamie & Jon.

I love volunteering here at this horse rescue.I have owned horses since age 5 (and riding before that age) and love being around all of the horses.This one horse at the rescue has really captured my heart, and I love her so much!!!If horses are your thing, please come and check out this horse rescue! The volunteers are GREAT people! And the owner is a VERY SPECIAL lady 💝 to do what she does for these beautiful animals that has been abused and some badly abused in there lives! They all need alot of TLC and you could be just the person to give your love to them!!The horse that I love, when I walk in the gate, I call her name and she looks at me and she tells (she nickers) me good morning, thank you for coming to see me! I love her and I think she must love me ❤️🐴❤️

This rescue is nothing like I have ever seen before in my life! What they do for the abused horses there is really something, I love it there and go back as often as I can.

The most wonderful place to donate your time. The women that runs it is a saint to take in all these unwanted souls that are abused neglected and left behind. These horses have a wonderful life there. It is just a shame that more people cannot donate their time, like a veterinarian or a blacksmith or a lawyer. It feels good to give so try it 🥰

Maria is the most sweetest and kindest lady you’ll ever come across in your life. She takes everyone she meets under her wings and treats them as their own despite their past and their stories. The volunteers there are amazing and you can see clear as day- how much they love and adore those animals there.

Maria needs more people to donation like feed bottle waters for the kids more people showing kids how take care and love the horses out the David And chip, kyle. And good staff go out ther any time from 6am to 730pm to feed water clean and take care of all the animals you time is a great donations and you fall in love watch out for spirit cast Tango and all the other horses theyre waiting for you come on out

This is a very cool place for anyone who is interested in horses for grooming riding showing just loving MARIE IS A VERY COOL LADY that owns the place and has for many many years is a great woman best friend ever gotta love her.

Wow- This tiny woman gives back to her community despite the new ordinances fighting horse properties! A grandfathered property that rescues horses and helps teens and serves as a babysitter for kids in the community. Rather than getting into no good, she puts them to work with rescue horses. They flourish and the kids flourish!🐴💙🐴🌻🐴She teaches horse care, handling, grooming, saddling and riding! Lend a hand and get something in return! Just starting a young persons riding group for shows and parades!!!💞

The owner Maria is very processional she knows horses in and out and is a very kind helpful ladythat runs a well oiled tight ship.I go there for the exercise, solitude and to surround my self with good people, and my passion for horses.

Great caring place I believe...

I thought that the rescue horses would be very sheltered and skittish depending on what circumstances brought them here. But they were taken in all the attention and affection they could get. Especially when the volunteers are grooming them. And they dont look like their skippin any meals either. 🐎

I board my horse here and I also adopted him from here. Horses are turned out 24/7 except when they are fed. Great for their well being and contact with other horses. Not fancy, but sure is better than keeping your horse alone in his stall all the time.

Great place for kids and horses

If you have depression or stress I would recommend it because the horses and people are very nice the owner lets adults and kids have rising lessons. You can lease and rehome a horse in need. You can board you horses and come when you want. They turn out every horse there including boarders they all believe in not hurting or abusing the horses. You can do many things there you will never be bored. Hanging out with horses and people are a great way to keep you busy. They are actually now hiring and could need the help if you have extra time on your hands. Please and thank you.
