OMG...I have no idea what Cam Sells did to my head. I text him a picture of what I wanted and he said he could do it. I dont think so Cam, you should never try to do a design in any ones hair EVER. What you did to me was not even close to what I wanted. This is the worst experience I have ever had with someone doing my hair. Cam should go back to baber school and learn how to cut hair or rethink his career choice. I was there for a clean up and design, I received the worst design and the worst clean up I have ever had. I am stuck with this dead tree or chicken leg on the back of my head, thankfully hair grows fast and I dont mind wearing hats. Cam was absolutely horrible!

Typically place where a bunch of young guys hang out to socialize, at the expense of customer service.Went here for 2 yrs & got excellent cuts, but Cam, my barber, kept coming in later & later for my appointments . Today I waited 15 minutes & then left.Who is in charge?Who is holding anyone accountable?When you go places where women work, they are there waiting for you, not coming in 5 minutes after the appointment begins.

Ive never been to a barber shop that has an ambiance. Diamond cuts without a doubt is a comfortable environment full of talented barbers. Second time there first for myself and today for my son. We both went from very long hair to very modern in style haircuts. Absolutely a fantastic and professional job and place to visit. Im actually going to go see him tomorrow to show my dog because of a conversation we had there.

Took my son to several different barbers trying to find a good one. Well we finally found it. VJ cut my sons hair, and it came out great. Looks so nice and was exactly what he wanted. Didnt have to wait past his appointment time either. Which was amazing. This will be are barber going forward and who we recommend for others.

My sons hair cut comes out great every time. Very clean place and they pay attention to detail. We have gone to VJ and he has done a great job every time. He’s very patient with my son and I love that I can make a appointment.

This is a wonderful place to go! The only place I will take my boys for a haircut. My only issue is, when the owner isn’t around, it seems to turn into a hang out spot for one of the gentleman, won’t mention names. Not only does he have all his “boys” hanging around, they are so disrespectful and talk with the most foul language. It is FAR from kid friendly language. It’s bad when people are in a barber shop talking like that, it’s worse when them barber joins in with the foul talk. Customers don’t want to sit here, especially with their kids, and listen to all the swearing and rude disrespectful things these guys talk about. This is not a place to talk about it! Not with kids around and/or customers around at all period! Like I said, I love this place, I will never take the kids elsewhere, just wish they could be a bit more professional sometimes.

Diamond Cutz is one of the best places in town. This staff is some of the most respectful group of gentlemen I have ever met. My sons have been coming here since they were little boys. These men have always been positive role models. They have always helped me keep my sons looking the part. This has not just been a place to get our haircuts, it has always been a place of positive inspiration as well.

The barbers here are very respectful and nice and my hair looks nice after they cut it, they never go to rough and the finish looks awesome.

What did I Learn today? Don’t got to Diamond Cutz in Ansonia, CT. When i walked in, there were about 15 people who looked up but no one said a single word to me for about 5 minutes. I needed a cut bad so i just waited, finally someone asked if i needed a cut and referred me to a guy in the last seat on the right. I didnt get his name, mostly because he didnt give it. The kid who cut my hair was on the phone more than half of the time I was in the chair. He didn’t know what a temple fade was, so I asked for a taper on my fro. The front looks OK but the back is so uneven I can’t imagine what he was thinking. Lesson learned. I’m just gonna cut my own hair from now on. Look at the picture below if you think im exaggerating, i got this cut today 06/16/2018 around noon. Does this look right to anyone? No it doesnt, he was already trying to take some other clients before he finished my hair. This is the second time i have had a bad experience here and the last time. That said. the owner is an incredible barber but some of these other guys clearly dont know whats going on. I wont be going there again, im gonna buy my own clippers so at least if my hair looks as bad as this i wont have to pay for it.
