I needed some special pieces of jewelry needing repair. Couch’s Jewelers has always had such a great reputation that I didn’t hesitate to drive out of town to take it to them. As expected, they didn’t disappoint. I received great service as they were both knowledgeable and friendly. Beverly was so helpful when I returned to pick up my jewelry. Also, Mr. Couch had gone out of his way, offering to fix a chain rather than me having to buy a new one. I couldn’t ask for better service and I’m looking forward to purchasing future pieces with Couch’s.

Most of the service here is great! Youll find things at Couchs that you wont find at any other place in this area. But the level of service I was treated to when I tried to get a watch band replaced on a Seiko (expensive watch, mind you), I was snubbed. It was very rude and honestly made me feel like I wasnt welcome in the store because they carry better things than Seiko. I called back to voice my opinion on this issue and was transferred and then hung up on without so much as a callback. Needless to say that if this is how business is done here, Ill order my own toolkit, order my own Jubilee band direct from Seiko and do it myself.

Questionable ethics. I dropped off my wedding set to be sized and soldered together. The work quality is good, but they added $25 to the bill and said it was taxes. I didnt think anything of the price increase compared to the price they printed on my original receipt until my husband said that services generally arent taxable. After looking at the revised receipt they added an express fee even though I declined expedited service when I was told it was $20 per ring. I guess it would have been hard to convince me that taxes added $40 to a $185 bill, so they went with a $25 fee instead. I will be disputing these charges with my CC company. Beware of this place!
