I’ve been coming here for a few years now and couldn’t be happier. Cathy does a very professional job and takes pride in her work, as does her husband, Mr. Lee. Cathy takes extra care of one’s feet, nails. I come away feeling as if I’ve just been to a podiatrist with the added benefit of beautiful nails. I was especially grateful that during the pandemic they take every caution to endure the safety of their clients, seeing only one at a time.

I would HIGHLY recommend Nuva Nails. I have been searching for a new salon and this one was so wonderful, Kathy & Le make you feel like family. One thing I really like is when you walk in you dont smell any chemicals. No walk-in so you really need to get an appointment,. I have finally found the right salon and have gone back several times. Kathy spent a long time trying to remove some poorly done gel manicure I had done somewhere else that caused a lot of damaged to my nails. She carefully and persistently took time, effort, technique to carefully remove the stubborn gel without using extra file tools to avoid damaging my nails even further. Any other place I have been would just try to cut some time and use files to scrub that gel off without preventing damage to the nails. Not her. She also did a nice manicure job and applied a healing product on my nails, which she sold me a bottle too, and taught me how to keep applying strategically through 3 weeks, to recover my nails from the damage that the other place caused to my nails. I am glad I went there for her help and will continue going.

Nuva Nails is one of the best salons I have been too. Mrs. Cathy and Mr. Le are the absolute sweetest couple. The do the best job on pedicures and manicures but you have to keep in line they do not do any artificial nails, so no acrylics or added tips or anything. Mrs. Cathy is all about having healthy natural nails! If you want a gel manicure or pedicure go to Nuva Nails!

Five stars! ⭐️ Cathy gave me a beautiful gel manicure and also gave my mother a lovely pedicure. We felt very safe here after our vaccinations (still during Covid). Both Cathy and Le consistently wore their face masks correctly. They have completed their Barbicide certification. They also take clients by appointment only and therefore you don’t have to worry about being stuffed into a small nail salon with too many other customers. Very good service!

Wonderful experience. They really took their time on my pedicure. Very relaxing experience, great service. And she was able to fit me and my mom in the same day, back to back, with only a few hours notice. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I called to make an appointment to get my gel filled, and was told they dont do fill ins, to call someone else.. Never heard of a nail salon that doesnt do fill ins. If I could give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars, I would! Now you have your customers messaging me on Facebook?! Begging me to remove or change my review because its not fair. Whats not fair is being harrassed because you were too lazy to schedule a fill in.

Appreciate the COVID-19 precautions that are being taken!Also how they clearly list the services available and are willing to guide you to another salon for services they do not provide!!

Went with my daughter today for pedicures, as always a wonderful experience. Mr Le and Cathy take every precaution with masks and proper cleaning procedures. Our visit was very relaxing and our feet are so pretty.

I have been to Nuva several times for pedicures. I have 3 young boys and times are chaotic with virtual learning but, oh boy, do they help me feel relaxed and forget it all!!! My pedicures are top quality and last for several weeks and WOW oh WOW does Le give the most amazing foot and leg massage!!! Get there now!!!

I had really high hopes for Nuva Nails after reading many 5 star reviews, so I guess I was a little let down when it didn’t live up to all the hype.You have to schedule an appointment because they only see one client at a time, which is kind of nice because they only focus on you. Although it makes for a very empty and quiet shop.I was really looking forward to the pedicure because people spoke so highly of Mr. Lee’s massage. Kathy did a pretty good job on my pedicure, nothing to rave about it. She used one kind of scrub and rubbed my heals quickly with a pumice. No hot towels or anything extra. The massage was OK. He maybe spent 5 minutes on each foot/leg and it was nice but not as magical as I was hoping for, based off everyone’s reviews.Kathy was a little aggressive with the tools and really went at my cuticles. She kept pointing out how dry they were, after rubbing my fingers/nails down in alcohol, I wasn’t surprised. She also cut my nails when I said I just wanted them filed. But it was the usual “I just cut a little” and that ended up being a lot...During the manicure I changed my mind about the color I wanted for my ring finger. She practically scolded me for changing my mind, repeatedly saying how it’s an issue when you change your mind so late because the gel polish needs to be shaken up a lot before being applied. I didn’t know and I said I was sorry for the last minute change, but she still felt the need to guilt trip me about it multiple times.My manicure turned out decent but my nails are way shorter than what I came in with, and the color gel I picked out looks nothing like what I got. The color was “lovely lavender” and it looks pink. The sample nail was definitely a light purple. She also didn’t bring the polish close to my cuticle so they already look more grown out than they should for 3 day old nails.Kathy and Lee are very nice and I’m glad so many people enjoy them, but I will not be returning to Nuva Nails.

Cathy does the best mani pedi I’ve ever had! They last a long time, not like past places I’ve been to that chip the next day. Her husband gives the best foot massage ever. Until a few years ago my wife always did her own nails. However, she has since developed some medical issues that preclude her from doing her own nails. For almost three years she has gone to Nuva Nails and Spa for all her manicures and pedicures. Cathy and Le are a very friendly couple who do a truly amazing job in a very clean and spotless shop. My wife has not gone anywhere else since discovering Cathy and Le. When my wife was unable to get to their Cape St. Claire business, Cathy and Le came to her rehabilitation center and then to our home to give my wife her manicures and pedicures. They do a beautiful and professional job with very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of these services.
