Easy to get to the office and lots of parking across the street. Nicely decorated waiting room—spacious and warm. Personable receptionist and dental assistant.Dr. Steckler was calm and explained everything he did. The shots did NOT hurt at all and whole experience was relatively pain free.I felt like they cared and wanted the best for me. Great experience and I recommend him and his practice above any I have had in years.

I just visited Dr. Steckler for a cleaning after not having one for over 2 years. I have always hated going to the dentist, mostly because I hated the picking and scraping feeling. He was incredibly helpful and informative, and the cleaning was quick and painless. He has updated technology that cleans quickly and without pain! I was in and out in 45 minutes. I’ve never left a cleaning thinking, “That was wonderful!” But I did! You should go here.

We arrived in Annapolis by boat and I had an old dental bridge that was falling apart and starting to be painful. I was able to get an appointment right away. The office is about a 30 minute walk up King George street. He did a great job on the bridge. He did a good job explaining what he needed to do and what my options were afterward.

Doctor Steckler performed a root canal and filled two cavities for me. Not only was he able to complete the work in condensed visits but he was familiar with unique ways to administer nova-cane that was almost painless. Combined with the massaging chair one almost forgets being at the dentist. If you are looking for a dentist who can get work done quickly and painlessly - you have found it.Best part of the visit was the welcoming and kind front office staff. Susie was able to schedule me right away and her conversation and personality alone was enough to brighten my day.

I had a serious case of anxiety and over the course of an hour they worked with me, answering the same questions I had over and over again. (The procedure took less time than that! just a few painless minutes). His pain management procedure alone is all the reason to go! Also, his nurse held my hand the whole time and game me so much comfort with her kind demeanor!!! I recently switched from a practice in College Park to this one, and I have absolutely..NO REGRETS. I wish this office all the best with me as a devoted dental patient!(No insurance hassle was a side benefit!)

Several Years ago I was in bad place, both financially and medically. I have bad teeth due to drinking soda when I was younger and most have rotten out. I developed an extremely bad infection which could have killed me. With no job and no insurance I didnt see this ending well for me. I reached out to Dr. Steckler by email and we talked about my situation. He told me to come in ASAP due to the infection. When I showed up he was kind and understanding to my issues. He worked with me and he took care of removing the bad teeth and clearing the infection. Dr. Steckler is not only a fantastic Dentist, but a Doctor who cares about you. I cant thank him and his staff enough.

I have been extraordinarily pleased with my visits here to Annapolis Dental Care. Dr. Steckler is vastly experienced, good-humored, and very talented. I had to have fillings replaced and a crown put in, and he completed it very quickly and with no pain whatsoever, and is sociable and the office is fun to visit. Other patients around the office seemed pleased and in good spirits as well. This is definitely a place I will be recommending to friends and family!

Just called this morning for a tooth ache, they saw me immediately, and were completely kind and helpful. Dr. Steckler is fantastic. My experience was extraordinary!! (I also have extreme anxiety for dentists) he made me feel completely at ease and his staff were incredible.

I went here a couple years ago. I was told I needed about 1500 dollars of work done although I was having no dental problems. I decided to get a second opinion- was told that I have no problems with my teeth and they were completely healthy. Just to be sure I went to ANOTHER dentist who then said exact same thing. Also I went to go pick copies of my X-rays - they were completely unreadable- I had to have them redone. Apparently this office doesnt use digital X-rays which Ive been told has been the standard for the past 15 years. Never left a bad review anywhere but I feel compelled to save someone from having some same experience and possibly having unnecessary dental work.

I know Dr. Steckler personally and can tell you his main priority is to remove any fears you might have when seeing a dentist. His commitment to total patient comfort is unsurpassed. I know a few occurrences when his office was closed he had the patient come in anyways for an emergency.

Called in the morning, and went in that afternoon. Repair loose filing. Great friendly service. Would highly recommend Annapolis Dental Care.

For almost 3 months I dealt with a pain in my mouth. I saw two separate dentist offices in Silver Springs. Both said they couldnt find any problems. By the 3rd month, I woke up, could barely talk, could barely open my mouth, and the pain was shooting like a dart every few minutes. I went to the emergency room where the Nurse practitioner misdiagnosed me and told me I had a joint disorder called (TMJ). I disputed her decision and requested xrays. She refused, I left and surfed for nearby oral surgeons who would extend emergency services. The Nurse, Susan was so wonderful, she scheduled an immediate appointment. While there were other patients in the office, Dr. Steckler saw me within 15 minutes and he knew the problem within 2-3 minutes as I could barely open my mouth. This was PRIOR to the Xrays. He immediately scheduled me for the root canal the very next day!!!! 5 stars seem to low. He is the best! Thank you Susan and Dr. Steckler.

Dr. Steckler worked on three gold crowns and replaced them with porcelain. He also filled a couple teeth that had been sensitive around the receded gum. He did an exceptional job and was very gentle. In the process of fixing my crowns he also fixed a food trap that was very annoying while eating.Dr. Steckler is not my regular dentist but if I had ever resided in Maryland I would make sure Dr. Steckler was my permanent dentist. If you’re looking for a detailed oriented dentist with a good bedside manner, I highly recommend Dr. Steckler.
