Spent hours working this company for a small bathroom and a half renovation only to get an outrageous $63,000 discounted price for it! Oh my God! It’s ridiculous to think others are paying that for such small bathrooms and we didn’t even pick high materials or anything like marble. This was so outrageous of a price I can’t even say much more other than they didn’t even have the capability to show you a 3D auto and drawing of what it’d look like.Please use caution using this company.. Quality work can easily be found at one third of this their prices.

Metro Bath and Tile completely remodeled our owners bathroom. We had a tiny, 70s style bath (even though it was built in 2000) and they were able to bump the wall out and into the office next door to make the entire bathroom bigger. They removed everything in the original bath, including the tub, and installed a large, tiled shower with seat, tile floors, linen closet, pocket door, and everything else needed - except paint.The workmen were prompt, polite, great at their jobs, and explained things along the way.From the beginning when Cloud came to give us the quote, we felt like they took pride in their work and would do a good job. I had two bathrooms renovated by Metropolitan Bath and Tile. Both projects started early and were completed on time. All the personnel I communicated with were very professional and worked diligently to ensure all of my expectations were met. The renovations were not inexpensive, but in comparing my project cost to my neighbors bathroom renovation project they were comparable in cost and scope. I would recommend MB&T to anyone starting a bathroom project. Jobs well done.

We hired Metropolitan Bath and Tile for a complete, floor-to-ceiling master bath renovation and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Every single aspect of this huge project was handled professionally, from the initial design consultation all the way through the renovation and final inspection. The two-man crew that did the work arrived on time every day, they gave us a daily briefing on what was going to happen each day, and they did such an amazing job turning a dated, late 90’s master bathroom into a modern beauty. While it took a little longer than planned the work was fantastic! The mechanic, Andrew did superb work and was able to work around a few unforseen impediments in the original plan. Having only one bathroom in my house he was very considerate in timing things so my toilet was reset each night. I did have to shower at a hotel a couple times but the finished bathroom is beautiful!

My bathrooms turned out terrific they are gorgeous. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

Metropolitan remodeled our master bath in 2012. Its still beautiful, but we had an issue with a lighting fixture in the shower. Just as they advertise they stand behind their work and eight years later they replaced the fixture at no cost to us. Alex was the professional who came and also re-caulked a bathtub and shower. Highly recommend! MB&T remodeled my master bath and upstairs full bath about 9 years ago. I was very pleased with the estimator, design process, project coordinator and quality of work by the installers so when the master shower needed some re-caulking I contacted them again. I sent an email with a few photos of the caulk to be replaced. I was promptly contacted by Ji, emailed an estimate and placed on the schedule. Alex, the installer, arrived in the agreed to window, practiced social distancing and was very respectful of my home. In about an hour he had replaced the caulk. He did a wonderful job and completed it much faster than anticipated. So nice to work with a company that has stood the test time and provides quality, professional work.

Seems like they do a good job but a but too pricey for what I need to do. Very nice staff and nice showroom.

We needed a shower door quickly replaced before we could close on our house we were selling - we called Metropolitan and they were able to juggle things to get the shower door we needed and someone out rapidly to get it done just in time and done very well. They also were able to adjust to get tile work replaced where old door brackets were. We really appreciated their effort!

I had a relatively small project. Replace a 17 year old steam shower and various leaking fixtures in the master bath. Job started and completed in a timely fashion as specified in the contract. Actually, they were able to start earlier.Good communication and follow up. I am pleased w the results and the company.

The showroom is very nice. Also, its great that you can see an entire finished bathroom instead of only imagining how a finished bathroom will look. The staff were very nice and courteous as well.

Went through the process of measurements, materials, and design before being given a cost for my bathroom renovation. The design materials were limited and took over a week for the designer to find products/colors I was looking for. The cost with Metro came out to $21,000 to renovate my bathroom. I got a few more quotes and ended up spending $6,000 for the same renovation as was promised with Metro. I would suggest everyone shop around before committing to Metro. Even though you have to go through the whole process before being given a quote, it’s worth walking away and seeing your options.

Couldn’t be more pleased. It sounds patronizing to say that the technician was professional, but he really couldn’t have been more so.He called fifteen minutes out to let me know when he’d be arriving. Showed up precisely on time. Even though it wasn’t necessary wore booties throughout his stay (and a face mask - so kudos!), confirmed what spots I was looking to have re-grouted/repaired, explained to me what he would be doing (and suggested that the work in the shower stall was mainly cosmetic and that the tiles weren’t loose, and that there wasn’t significant underlying damage), and gave me an estimate for how long he thought he would be.When he completed his repairs, he again showed me what had been done, explained that the grout would blend as it dried, and cautioned against using the shower stall for at least 24 hours to allow the grout to cure.Thanks so much for all of your assistance. I realize it was a very small job, but MBT made me feel as though it was their most important of the day.Will definitely recommend you guys to anyone who has work to be done, large or small!

Unfortunately we originally selected another company to complete our bathroom remodel. WHAT A MISTAKE! Metropolitan Bath took over the project, corrected all of the previous contractors issues, and created a wonderful and safe bathroom for my aging parents. Everyone we worked with was equally helpful, understanding, and patient. They made the change of contractors a surprisingly easy process. I will not use a different bathroom remodel company.

Will start off by saying that we went to MBT for a 2nd opinion as the home remodeler that redid our kitchen with an addition quoted a very high price to totally redo a basement bathroom. MBT designer Cloud (yes, that is his name) came in and assessed and listened attentively to what our vision was. He took some measurements and came back and said: Yup, I have to agree with their price, due to the complexities of redoing a basement bathroom that A) was done in the 1950s B) has old school tile and C) the old school ceramic glazed iron tub. After some discussion we did a rough design of the master bathroom that was next on our list.Cloud was EXTREMELY patient as we picked out materials and even worked with us when we wanted something custom done with some fancy imported tiles.We had the master bathroom totally redone (stripped to the studs) for half the price of the basement redo. Cloud was METICULOUS in our measurements and design. He ended up saving us at least $3K by suggesting other better alternatives than the high end stuff we wanted (he pointed out that the specifics would be hard to keep clean, the labor costs alone would be significant, and other interesting facts). Cloud personally insured that everything was done high end and top quality.Even though our remodel took a bit longer (our project manager had a preplanned vacation right in the middle of the build and as it was COVID we didnt want to go with another person coming in. Then the project manager notices that the high end sink had a chip in it, so we had to wait for the sink to be replaced. But all in all a VERY VERY easy and outstanding experience. Every single person we interacted with was BEYOND accommodating and professional. We will ABSOLUTELY be using them again! highly highly recommend (also posting on YELP).

This was a great project - the finished bathroom is great. They took the entire room right down to the studs, moved the toilet, replaced a tub with a walk in shower, all new everything! The workers were polite and very neat. Not dust in the rest of the house. The tile work is perfect.

Alex was on time and did a very good job. It was a small job but one that he did professionally. Ji coordinated the work in a single day so the job was wrapped up quickly.

The works now we’re extremely professional. And we discovered there were updates needed beyond the original estimate, they worked with us to ensure things such as proper insulation we’re done at the a critical time to make the job all the more comfortable and finished with the greatest care. Gentlemen, You recently completed a job in our home involving extensive repairs to the floor in our bathroom that required the demolition of the existing tiled floor. The completed job included a new floor foundation; new tile installation; new vanity: new toilet topper; and a new medicine cabinet. You also installed safety bars in our shower area, and caulked our tub.The fact that you also sent a gentleman over to install an extra shelf in our toilet topper was greatly appreciated.Thank you Ray for all your help. 10/10/2019Based on 2019 Best Pick reports of Fairfax County, VA and other online researches and reviews, I decided to contract with Metropolitan Bath and Title to renovate my main bathroom. The designer/estimator-Cloud ensured me that it would be completed with full satisfaction. Because of his professionalism, confidence and constant follow ups, I went for the project.The installation team lead was Micha, his associate – Tony, and other supporting staff - Alex, Quelbis and John, all of them were skillful, knowledgeable and also dedicated to details. It went beyond my high expectation.

We were quite satisfied with the work and expertise shown by the workman, Barney. However, it did take a bit longer than we thought it would.

The bathroom is stunning, only probably I going three weeks with anywhere to wash my hands brush my teeth because there was no replacement sink.and at the end last payment I was charged more than what was on the contract.

Metropolitan Bath and Tile did a great job both in remodeling one bathroom and repair of the other. I found them to be very professional. They were always on time, worked hard and completed both projects in relatively short period of time. My husband and I are very happy with the results and highly recommend MBT.

Metropolitan Bath & Tile (MBT) did an exceptional job on our hall bathroom. Nothing ever goes exactly as planned due to issues caused by the homeowner or the workers. That said, every time an issue came up MBT went above and beyond to made things right! All MBT professionals, Cloud, Tony. Micah & Reggie were simply outstanding and deserving of a 5-star rating. Other companies simply cant and dont compare....We know this from first hand experience. Get your bathroom done right the first time, on-time and as stress free as possible!As an addition to my original post, there was a corner wall area with cracked paint or caulk that came visible a few weeks post completion. A worker named Alex came to take care of it. I also noticed a few nail pops on a wall outside the bathroom which were caused by the initial work. Alex took care of all this and a few more spots on the outside wall that were not his responsibility. He sanded and got these areas ready for paint too... going above and beyond! Little things like this are why Metropolitan Bath and Tile gets 5 stars! I implore everyone to use this company.
